Japan, one of the world’s most beautiful countries in the world, has a rich literary heritage. Japanese stories reflect a deep sense of tradition and a great sensitivity to nature. For many centuries Japanese stories remained unknown to the world, as the language was difficult to learn. In the 1900s translations became available and the greatness of Japanese literature came to light. This Collection of folk tales gives us a glimpse of traditional Japan. It includes the story of the wise Hagamuchi who saves his village from a terrible tsunami. It tells of the little monk boy who faces off against the dreaded mountain witch. It also follows the adventure of Momotaro, the peach boy, as he battles the ogres threatening his village.
Various is the correct author for any book with multiple unknown authors, and is acceptable for books with multiple known authors, especially if not all are known or the list is very long (over 50).
If an editor is known, however, Various is not necessary. List the name of the editor as the primary author (with role "editor"). Contributing authors' names follow it.
Note: WorldCat is an excellent resource for finding author information and contents of anthologies.
