I needed something light and fluffy after reading so much dark and dirty. So, what’s fluffier than a fucking bunny?
My only drawback; I understand that Doms/daddies can be sweet natured. I just prefer them to be gruff, stern with a secret heart of gold. So because of that even though I had no intention of reading the previous book. I know I prefer Dom so I think I should.

This baby was in a anthology and has been re-released with some added content and Epilogue!!!! Yeahhh!!!

This was cute. The second book I've read with a daddy kink and ngl, this author may just make me develop one lol. The writing is amazing and I'm planning on reading more for sure. This was short and sweet with a plus sized fmc! And it wasn't done badly, I actually loved the way she was portrayed. So yeah, a good smutty and kinky read.

I read the original story when it came out but now the author has released it as a single with a nice epilogue added. I absolutely loved Trey and Livia and was excited to see them featured a bit more. I've mentioned before that I love epilogues because I want to know how the characters are doing after the story is over. Ms. Hale wrote Trey and Livia a good one and I enjoyed it!

I am always a bit nervous when reading books that feature d/s relationships and the power exchanges that are an intrinsic part of them. It is glaringly obvious to me when an author has no real idea of the lifestyle, which can really cause problems for people who may use the information in real life. But it’s equally wonderful to see an author that has taken the time to thoroughly research the topic (or is a part of the lifestyle) and is able to show a balanced view of the ups and downs of BDSM.
For this story, I think the author has a basic understanding of power exchange and even shows a bit of how wrong things can go when the rules of safe, sane and consensual are not followed. But this is a very simplified version of this kind of relationship. The couple moved from strangers to a relationship very quickly and this ruined the realistic feeling of the book for me. I definitely think things should have moved slowly between the characters, especially since the female character is recovering from a verbally abusive relationship. Some of the “sweet” talk between the characters is cringe worthy (I have no problem with a man being called Daddy, or having pet names) and ruined some of the sexy scenes for me.
The male character, Trey, seems a bit desperate to find someone to call him Daddy, and doesn’t seem to treat the honorific with the respect it should have in the lifestyle (same thing as Sir, Master, Mistress, etc.). And, although Livia is reluctant to experience a d/s relationship again, she seems to lose her fears very quickly. Like I said, this book moved to fast for my liking and oversimplified the complex nature of the relationship.

This book was cute as fuck. I really hope this author writes another book for this series because I absolutely devoured these 2 books. Maybe a book about Joshua? 🤔
I really felt for Livia when she was remembering her ex who treated her like crap and when she got anxious and scared in the gym. I was also super sad when she told Trey “not in a million years” would she want to discuss her fitness goals with him, and his smile disappeared. I dunno what about that whole scenario got me, but it just did.
I really loved Trey and how sweet he was as a daddy. He was looking for his little girl and ugh, I was just hooked on him. Trey and Livia were so cute together and I loved the epilogue. I’d love to read more about them in later books if there happens to be any.

This was such a cute story! Not only is it sexy, sweet and safe (no cheating or OW drama) the hero, Trey is a Daddy Dom who falls for Livia pretty fast and hard.
Livia is a strong character you can’t help but root for. I loved that through Livia, the book also explored self care, body positivity and healthy kink lifestyles.
This was a short read but bursting with sweet and heated moments between the MCs. I fell hard for Trey and his Daddy kink was right up my alley I definitely recommend for anyone who likes quickie reads with heart and kink in equal parts.

I found "Gym Bunny🐰" by Brienna Hale to be a delightful romance that blends humor, heart, and heat. The story follows a strong, independent woman balancing her fitness goals with her personal life, and her chemistry with her love interest is both palpable and engaging😍.
Brianna creating of relatable characters and natural dialogues helped drewing me into their world.🌎 🤍
Her vivid descriptions of the gym and fitness routines added authenticity, and the romantic and steamy scenes were well-integrated into the story and setting.
The novel explores themes of self-improvement, body positivity, and supportive relationships, celebrating the journey to becoming the best version of oneself. Trey is one of the trainers at the new gym, Dom Fitness. The trainers take turns standing on the sidewalk outside the gym trying to attract customers and explain the concept of the gym. Trey is fascinated by the gorgeous blond who walks by the gym every day.
Livia is equally attracted to the muscle bound trainer, but her whole impression of BDSM is colored by a one year abusive relationship with an ass who wouldn’t know safe, sane, and consensual if it hit him in the head with a 2 by 4. I ❤️ A Good BDSM Novel, However, This Fell Flat

I wanted to end the month reading some novellas to reach my reading goal of each month. But, this novella did not resonate with me.
I will say it was nice seeing a plus size heroine and her being deemed beautiful by a man she barely knew who was very much into fitness.
But, the book was not good to me. I liked Trey and he was a sweetheart from the beginning that fell first. In general I didn't like the plot and the taboo aspect of the BDSM was majorly flat though the BDSM fitness aspect was interesting.
The chemistry between the two charaters were there and I am glad Livia found her confidence back. As a plus size women having someone you trust tear you down is the worst because you believe it to be true.
I would tell people to read this book if you are looking for something quick and kind of smutty to read.
I do want to read more books by Brianna Hale and hope I like them because this book eventhough it wasn't my favorite it had potential!

I liked the way the book embraced her body type and how there was no subplot regarding her losing weight or anything.
I just wasn’t massively invested in the romance – it was so clearly obvious to me as a reader that they were so into each other, there never really felt like there was a barrier to them getting together. It was just missing that extra something for me. It’s a quick read, though, and quite fun.

Oh, the heat is HOT, and the physical chemistry is captivating so be careful you may just get burned all the heat coming off these pages. There were some "oh no" "oh wow" " what the what" moments and add in uncanny mishaps, and shenanigans the good kind that makes you keep turning the pages till last page has been turned. Livia is finally free from an abusive relationship with a Dom and in walking away she wants a clean break from the lifestyle. Dom Fitness just opened daily she has to walk pass it and the sexy alpha Dom trainer there. Trey sees the curvy beauty and wants her but she is too afraid of the lifestyle after the endured abuse, but Trey has all the patience to show her he is nothing to be afraid of and that he will never do anything to hurt her but the questions are can she believe him, will her heart allow her to believe him and will /can these two find their HEA?

Unfortunately, Dom Fitness just opened up down the street. Now, everyday she has to walk past it and the sexy trainer, Trey tempting her. Trey has had his eye on the gorgeous, curvy woman and he desperately wants to get to know her. But her fear of the lifestyle might keep them apart before they can get anywhere. I love, love, LOVED these two. Trey is just about the sweetest most supportive guy ever! He is so protective of Livia, he doesn't want to change her, he just wants to make her happy! Livia, once she lets go of her fear really shines. This book was everything I hoped it would be, I couldn't be happier. All the love for Trey and Livia!

Livia is just out of a bad dom/sub relationship so when she meets Trey she isn't sure that she's ready to jump into something again. When Trey sees Livia he knows she's the one for him but he can see that she's been hurt. So he takes his time with her because he knows that she's worth the wait. Livia takes a chance with Trey and things heat up between them. Trey is everything she wants in a man but when her ex shows back up she gets worried again. Will her ex cause her to end things? Can Trey show her that he is the man for her?
This is a great story that will draw you in from the first chapter and leave you wanting more with the last. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

Livia has had a bad experience with a D/s relationship. She finally got rid of the guy and his abusive ways and is feeling better about herself but still have a hang up about the Dom/Sub relationship. Dom Fitness just opened up on her street and she has to walk by it every day and Trey is out there giving out brochures and he really likes what he sees when Livia walks by. Love the storyline and the characters. These two are perfect for each other and Livia finally understands what a Daddy Dom and his bunny lifestyle is all about. I picked this up because of a recommendation from someone on booktube and it just wasn’t great. The writing itself wasn’t that great either. The beginning of this was cringey funny so I thought I would get a silly goofy time but then it got a little less funny and more uncomfy. At that point I was far enough in that like I decided to just finish it. Also this was super rushed into a dynamic and I don’t like that with bdsm Dom/sub style books. Especially in this case where she had such a bad previous experience. I didn’t know it was daddy/little girl and I wouldn’t have picked it up if I did. I don’t mind daddy kink but that flavor of it just isn’t for me.
The part that made this fun to read was reading most of it out loud to my friend and having a giggle or cringing together.

I originally read this story as the arc that got published in an anthology. I don't remember when but it was at least last year... Possibly the year before... But i digress.
The author is going to release it as a standalone book with bonus epilogue content and she was kind enough to offer my an arc. Honestly I jumped at the chance!
I enjoyed it just as much second time around and I really lived the bonus epilogue content. Gives a reall look into Livia and Trey's future without the rest of the story being rushed.
I really want to read the previous book - Dom Fitness - now, becase that too was an awesome book.

I enjoyed it just as much second time around and I really lived the bonus epilogue content. Gives a reall look into Livia and Trey's future without the rest of the story being rushed.
I really want to read the previous book - Dom Fitness - now, becase that too was an awesome book.

Trey is a personal trainer at Dom Fitness and sees Livia and is instantly smitten. Trey is the daddy dom type more nurturing and caring. Livia just got out of a bad D/s relationship is gaining back her self esteem and does not want to go through that again. Trey has to convince her that she is beautiful just the way she is and he wants to have is own bunny to love. This is a great story with wonderful characters, I love how there is always humor to Brianna Hale stories. I loved this story and so far this is a great series. I hope there will be more.

Such a cute and easy read!
👩🏼 Livia had been through a lot with her ex. He would punish her even tho she was comfortable in her skin and didn't want to lose weight. She deserved a better person to treat her as she should.
🧔🏽 Trey was so sweet and kind. He stood up for her. And showed her what a real bdsm relationship looks!
📚 fast-paced. And it's a full story (not like some novellas when it's a scene out of a book).
A bit naughty (spanking was involved), so it wasn't heavy on the bdsm part.
Her: The side that makes me want to submit to a man, but still feel like I’m his equal. That I’m valued and he loves me.
⭐️ for me a bit funny in some parts that it shouldn’t be.
🔖Highly recommend getting you out of a reading slump.
