My Bio: Stevie rae causey is an author, podcaster, guest speaker, and general nerd living in the pacific northwest. Special interests include relational psychology, symbolism, hiking, and dogs. May very well just be a series of coping mechanisms in a trench coat masquerading as human.
These books don't stand on their own, they need to be read in order. The author does a great job with the world building and the characters are relatable and will appeal to young readers. This book picks up quickly and the pace is faster in this final book and I do like the progression that takes place in the story as well as the growth in the characters. I still think this series feels very much like a one of those mini series that we end up binge watching from start to finish.

This is the third and final book of this trilogy. It does not disappoint. It is not a standalone book but follows on from the previous one. It is important to read all three books in this series in order.
I obtained a copy of Amasai Rising and was hooked from the start so had to obtain Anhedonia and then Absolution. They were well worth reading and enjoyable if you like young adult Fae fantasy as I do and you do not necessarily have to be a young adult. I'm not!
Azlana and Luka join forces to save the world as they know it and join all races together whether human or mystic. They meet many trials.
Stevie Rae Causey has written a creative and fascinating series and the last book of the trilogy held my attention to the very end. This was a coming-of-age series with a young, strong-willed, and determined princess as the central character. The princess and her friends go through many trials and tribulations. I recommend this series to others who enjoy this genre. Even though the story was written for younger audiences, as an adult, I found it entertaining. Brenda Scott Wlazlo's narration was very emotive. I was given a free copy of the audiobook and I have voluntarily posted this review.
The craziness of the adventures of Azlana, Luka and Nova so intertwined and with the Amani trying to rule her thoughts and actions and her strength in trying to keep herself from being overwhelmed. I read it straight thru and along the way trying to grasp all that was happening. These stories make you want the adventures to continue.
