But I do have a bounty of wild animals that come to visit. There’s even a resident nuthatch that talks to itself (constantly)! And there *are* currently seven chickens in the henhouse…

I am voluntarily reviewing an advanced reader copy of this book.
Emma and her best friend Chloe decided it was a good idea to go on a hike but when they end up going for an accidental dip in the river they are rescued by men that you only expect to see when you are hallucinating but when she finally does come around and she discovers that her saviour is real she soon discovers a new type of life and one that she wants to share with her mountain SEAL but will he want her to stay?
Cole and Evan are just in time to rescue Emma and Chloe when they decided to take an unexpected swim in the ice cold river, Cole knows that the race is on to get Emma warm hauling her over his shoulder he already knows that she is the woman that he has been looking for to share his life. Once Emma is back in the land of the living he is determined to show her the life that they can have on the mountain but will she choose to stay or return to her old life and will Cole really be able to let her go?
This was a fantastic start to another new series by an author that I have to say I looks forward to releasing a new book every time I finish the recent one. Emma and Cole had red hot chemistry from page one and his possessive nature definitely shone through. I am looking forward to reading Chloe and Evan’s book. Highly recommended fun 4.3* read.

Enjoyable read to relax between more angsty/drama filled books. No drama or headache here. Just a man who sees a woman and decides she’s the one. I liked it and the whole off the grid thing they got going on.

This was a quick, hot, steamy instalove story. Emma and her friend end up falling in the river and get rescued by two hot military men. Cole sees Emma and it's a race to get her back to his cabin to get her warm. It doesn't take long before it's steaming in the cabin. The chemistry between these two sizzles. Hot, fast and steamy instalove story that will have an overprotective Alpha melting your heart from the moment you start reading. Cole and Emma have an amazing connection that will lost in their story with each turn of the page.
Cole is a great quick read that has the right amount of heat, action and love. Looking forward to the rest of the series.

Emma and her friend Chloe are out for a hike when they run into trouble. Luckily there are former SEALs nearby to offer assistance. It's insta-attraction for Cole when he rescues Emma and takes her home. Can he persuade the beautiful editor to spend more time with him on the mountain? I liked this short romance! It is told in dual POV and moves swiftly with sizzling chemistry between the main characters. I liked the rapport between the men and the women, how issues are handled efficiently, and the nice epilogue. I loved the fast and firm commitment from Cole right from the start! This is the first book in a SEAL/mountain men series featuring alphas finding their forever loves and I know the rest will be just as entertaining!

Short and sweet!
If you're looking for a sweet,fast story with alpha male and you just have an hour before you, this book can do the trick. Be warned that everything is moving at High speed in this book because it contains only 39 pages so there is no room for elaboration and can't expect to experience intense depht! Well written so I could read another work by Olivia Sinclair next but longer than a few pages to be able to get a connection with characters and get a better depht in the book! I gave 5 stars because the author did a good job for beeing able condensing an entire love story info 39 pages only ..but i can say even if I'm not fan of such shorts stories , I could not give a lower rate because of my preference for books with depht and endearing story that require to be longer than this one!

Cole is the first instalment in Olivia Cole’s Mountain Men of SEAL Force Delta Tango and while I have unexpectedly become a fan of these short instalove romances, I found this one just a little over the top with talk of babies and “I love you” said within the first 12 hours of meeting. That said, the setting is described beautifully, and the support cast has grabbed my attention, and therefore my interest in future stories.

When Cole & Evan rescue Emma & Chloe both men are in for a shock as their lives are about to change. Emma is sure she is hallucinating as this handsome hunk hauls her over his shoulder to shelter at his cabin but as she starts to come around, she can’t deny the magnetic attraction to Cole. As Cole shows her how rewarding mountain living can be, Emma will have a decision to make if she goes back to town or stay on the mountain paradise with the man who has stolen her heart.

This was a quick read that was straight and to the point. I enjoyed this work, just like I enjoy the others by this author. The characters were amusing and had an instant connection. There really wasn’t much to the plot or character growth but it was still a good read.
I give this four out of five stars.

Cole secluded military man..
Emma and Cole’s turn for their story. The premise of insta love is very pleasing because you get the grit and pulse of a good story but it is a glorious quick read. I absolutely enjoy normal length books/stories but I also love these insta love hits as these stories are like a fantastic surge to your happy system. It can be so enjoyable to get to the denouement in half the time as a normal read.

An entertaining book one in the Mountain Men of SEAL Force Delta Tango series! It is well written, relatable, engaging, funny, and steamy. The characters are likeable; the chemistry between them is instant and off the charts. Definitely recommended!

Who wants to go to a remote mountain with me and get lost? Anybody? Cole is hot and sweet and Emma is adorable and cute. It's instalove on the mountain, adoration at altitude, forever in the forest. I can't think of any more.

A fabulous start to this new series. This is the quick and entertaining read of Cole and Emma and their journey to their happily ever after. They fit perfectly together and have amazing chemistry. I can't wait to read the next book in this series. You will not be disappointed.

Wowsa this new series is off to a fantastic start with Cole and Emma's story and it doesn't disappoint you either. Cole And Evan find Emma and her friend Chloe lost in the woods only to be suffering from hypothermia but when they're split up up will Emma freak out and demand to be taken back to the city or can Cole convince her to stay with him? Great start to new series.

2.5 ⭐️ — Listened to an audio version! The writing was fun, there was no angst, just a true happy ending! Spice was okay! It was honestly kind of a slow burn lol.
I definitely don’t mind love at first sight, but the “I love yous” and him wanting to get her pregnant the day after meeting was a bit much 😄 other than that, I loved the idea behind the story!

Short featuring instalust/instarelationship. Real talk though - there would have to have been electricity and hot water in that cabin before I agreed to anything long term or even short term beyond an emergency. I don’t care how good the dick is, that’s my hard limit.

The story is very short and everything happens quickly. Sinclair does a good job condensing everything into such a short story! I knocked one star for the narrator, who was very monotone.

I’m giving this a 3.5 instead of a 4 because Olivia Sinclair reads the novella herself. I find that a very novel (no pun intended) idea! However, Ms. Sinclair needs a lot more inflection and life in her voice to make listening enjoyable. She’s almost monotone.
