Okay. So. After the cliffhanger in the first book I was feeling STRESSED. Everything felt like it was going perfect and then BAM shit hit the fan.
So I was like okay cool book 2 gonna be nice and chill this will be an easy ride....
NO.
It was anything but!!!
Like damn Sable can’t catch a break. But yet again here she is proving that she is the ultimate queen and a stronger person than anyone could expect. Her men are just so pure and I love how each one compliments her needs so well. Each one of them bring out a different side and help her to be a better and stronger person and honestly what more could you want from a harem?
Also, the steam. Woooooooy the STEAM. Like. UGH. The first book gave us all the sexual tension and then this book gave us the wham. bam. thank u mam. And it was sweating over it!
The revelations we had in book one were shocking. The revelations in book 2 were even more so. I’m keeping my lips sealed because there is NO WAY that I would spoil the craziness that is to come in this book. All I’m going to say is, if you love a shifter romance, pick this book up. Now. Kthnxbye.

She’s a hybrid. I suspected it from book one, then let that theory go, so I’m glad it turned out to be true after all. Dare was an ass the entire time. He treated Sable like she was responsible for his pack’s death, even though it was witches who caused it. He made her feel like she didn’t deserve to be near him and pushed her into the role of an outcast. Then the moment she was revealed to be a wolf, suddenly he was fine with her. Hmm. Okay. Trystan was the only one with any sense when it came to not leading her back to her uncle, though that mostly comes from his instinct to slip into protector mode. Ridge has been loyal since day one and even accepted a challenge against his own brother to protect his pack, which says a lot about his character. Archer is still exactly who he’s always been, sweet, steady, and focused on keeping the peace, and I love him for that. Sable is clearly trying to figure out where she belongs with all of them. She craves acceptance from Dare, who continues to shut her out, while at the same time finding reassurance and support from the others.

Tbh, I didn't know that this series was going to be a trilogy. I thought two books and I'm done. Oh how wrong I was.
And it ended with a cliff hanger AND I cant wait for the next book AND I felt trap because of it, but I like being trap because of it. It's complicated.
So, yes, let me get back on track. The story was good. The plot thickened and developed well, there were dynamics between MCs and supporting characters and still managed to have a twist in the end. I felt invested in the whole ride and felt the emotional turmoil from each MCs and how it affected their relationships; how the difference and mannerism that actually bonding the whole penta-relationship (Geez, penta-relationship is definitely not a good expression. Sorry). Aside from that, I felt cheated because it turned to be a trilogy (maybe because I wasn't reading carefully in the beginning that this was going to be a trilogy. Yep, my bad! I know!), the book was a good decent adventurous-menage-shifter-witchy-romance story.

Generously giving this 3 stars.
A new reader definitely needs to start with book 1, or will be lost. While this was a decent story (plot), it had a lot of flaws to it that took away from the story as a whole. The world building isn't really there (in book 1 or this book), so I was left a bit confused about things. Stuff is thrown out there, but nothing more is really explained about various things. The FMC (Sable) is thrown into this world (in book 1) not knowing anything about wolf shifters or witches, but suddenly starts to know things in that world with nothing having been explained to her, or gaps in the time frame where she maybe could have learned things. This reader is left puzzled of where the knowledge came from. The flow was a little erratic, but the character development was seriously lacking starting in book 1 & into this book. I really didn't feel I knew any of the characters at the end of book 2 any better than when I started book 1. The 4 guys are all very vague in my mind (other than each having different eye colors), as I really didn't get a feel or a "like" for them. Most of the story is told from Sable's point of view, with random POV from the guys, which I was wishing for more from the guys. I did feel there was entirely too much of inner dialogue and not enough to each other. There were also places that skipped time and that felt more like just rushing the story than time passage. I just really didn't feel the "love" or even lust between the characters, which is disappointing. The ending was abrupt & almost too easy. At this point, I'm not interested in continuing with the series.

I gotta say the one thing that I’m not really a fan of with Sable is not really a coward but she is, she’s weak but yet she’s not. She feels (to me) like a very inconsistent character, she feels like an adult-child/mature & immature at the same time.
I actually had to look at the chapter titles to remember how many males were in the harem: Dare, Ridge, & Trystan have a bit more attention in the POV area as well in the book itself, Archer has only 2 POV’s in this book and in the book itself he’s almost forgotten at times it seems like, therefore I almost forgot he was actually a member in the RH at times. I hope in the next book he gets more of a spotlight on him.

Never judge a book by it's cover.
This saying is never as true to form as it is for this series!
The book cover shows three pure white gorgeous wolves and one mixed white and grey... And the blonde woman with short/medium length blonde hair.
The wolves, the men, in the book are.described as blonde, sandy, rustic and pure black.
The woman is.described as being blonde with hair flowing over her shoulders and down her back.
And she is a white wolf with blonde streaking her fur... I believe it was like sand under the moonlight...
The covers will of this series are clearly for another series. Someone screwed.up.
If you are.going to use.models and pictures for your novels, at least.have something similar to the books.
We ALL judge book covers.
They draw us in.
The hot models, beautiful ppl, they build the fantasy but when the covers do not match the story, it causes a disconnect.
This author would have been better off using a generic photo of moonlight on sand, or a photo of some mountain range... At least it would have been more matching the book.

However, there was.no broken bond through out the story.
It implies, there was a break in the mating bond.
There was.potential for it to happen with one if not more of the mates but it didn't happen.
Pulled tight? Maybe but not broken.
So, I was disappointed with this book.
I honestly do not know if I want to continue a series that so blatantly isn't following it's own rules.
First the description of the wolves and heroine and the this supposed broken bond that never happens....
What could possibly NOT happen next that would make it worth my attention for however long it takes to read the next installment of inconsistency?
If you enjoy book that hold fast to the details they/the author originally lines out for us, don't read this series.
It doesn't hold fast to details and you will get lost.
However, if you're not as hyper focused, and can gloss over details, then all power to you. Enjoy the inconsistencies....

Discovery book, FMC discovers more about what she is, and so do the packs and potential mates.
The darkness she went through shines through as strength, and we start to see how each of the Alphas is strengthened by her and also strengthen her... a lot of strengthening going on 😏. In body bed against solid things and smut galore for a once virgin! I'm so not jealous 🤥
I do like the characters, but for some reason, I'm still not connecting with them...just feel out of sorts and can't say why. It's still a good read, just lacking somehow. There's a lack of chemistry, banter...I don't know...it's just we get the POV of the MMCs as well as the FMC but I don't see that life long grew up with each other banter or rivalry. They say and indicate it, and while I'm not sure they are good friends...it's just an element that's missing. No added funny banter that makes me feel more or grow a little attached for being goofy or something....🤔🤷🏿♀️

5 stars for Broken Bond by Callie Rose. This is book two in the Claimed by Wolves series. “My heart knows what it wants, and it’s not just one of you. It’s all of you.” Sable is a strong person and seems to rise above everything. The love between her and her men is relationships goals. They compliment each other. They are stronger together. We do learn more about who Sable is and her past. Oh, and let me tell you this book is filled with more steam than book one. Oh, and be ready for a big cliffhanger. Callie rose seems to like keeping her readers on edge.

I'm not sure how I feel about this, maybe I had a certain expectation with the title of the book. Like if you are calling it "Broken Bond" then one of the alphas most likely decided to leave 😐? Nothing like that happen.
🐺 The shitty uncle still alive and now there's a what if bugging me. Is he keeping a secret or something? What if all the scars he carved all over Sables body are sigils and if they are, why?
🐺 After what happened by the end of the first book and learning about what happened to Dare's pack. I can't really blame him for leaving. What I'm really pissed about is how he literally went into a suicide mission.
🐺 It's interesting how 4 very alpha males are able to make it work in a small cabin with Sable the virgin. Saying it very specific because the whole idea is for her to accept the bond with a mate but how she can be so cool and not stress when there's 4 of them 🤣?!
🐺 Even though a lot of things had happened, I like how the author still remembers to do some world building for us. That I really appreciate because something some authors think the reader will figure it out, and the answer is mostly never I'll figure it out.
🐺 I think we can all agree that Dare's going to keep struggling to accept Sable but because he still wants her as a mate, I don't know how she can even think of him rejecting her at all. Like girl, are we talking about the same man?

Note: I received this book from the author and I voluntarily give this review, it is my honest opinion.
Broken Bond is the second book in the Claimed by Wolves series by Callie Rose and this book was one helluva a ride. It was an emotional rollercoaster and I had no idea where it was gonna end-up.
Dude... I really connected with Sable and the guys in the first book. They all have been through things but didn't necessarily let that define them. Sable was learning to rebuild herself after a tragic past, Archer had his own demons he fought every day, and Dare, Ridge, and Trysten all had pack issues they had to face but the guys all pulled together to help support Sable while she worked on herself. That endure me to all of them, then that damn ending in Fated Magic killed me.
I'm not gonna lie I was terrified to read Broken Bond, I mean after the ending in Fated Magic plus this title, I wasn't sure I was gonna make it. And guess what? So much happened in this book, so many emotions were at play that I was terrified about what would happen next with the group. Everything was really crazy and while this is a fantasy I believe that this book was more character forward but a lot of things happened and some information finally came to light.
Broken Bond was a really good story and I'm even more bonded to these characters after this book. There was a plot twist (called it!) that's gonna make things interesting, plus all the stuff that happened at the end... That cliffhanger dropped a whole lot of new information and I wonder how the shifters are gonna deal with what's coming next.
Broken Bond is the second book in the Claimed by Wolves series by Callie Rose and this book was one helluva a ride. It was an emotional rollercoaster and I had no idea where it was gonna end-up.
Dude... I really connected with Sable and the guys in the first book. They all have been through things but didn't necessarily let that define them. Sable was learning to rebuild herself after a tragic past, Archer had his own demons he fought every day, and Dare, Ridge, and Trysten all had pack issues they had to face but the guys all pulled together to help support Sable while she worked on herself. That endure me to all of them, then that damn ending in Fated Magic killed me.

This one picks up right where book 1 ended, and I’m glad we got to see! I love the guys, and how they’re all committed to Sable, despite the circumstances. The only one who got me down was Dare, and I know why he was struggling, but I do wish Sable had put up a bit more of a fight with him and made him grovel a bit.
I do appreciate that she grew more, and was feeling more comfortable in her own skin. I was shocked at a certain twist, and that pleased me. The ending was definitely a ride! I’m interested in the route this is going, simply because it’s been a slow and steady build up with just a few hints of the issue with the witches, and where it will expand from now.

Sable and her men are back and wow, do they have plenty of new information to sort through!
After a doozy of a cliffhanger in Fated Magic, we pick up where we left off as Sable has to navigate this new turn of events. Her men also have to figure out what it means for them as well, and when we get hit with another plot twist? Wow! I had a strong theory about it in book one, and I couldn’t believe it when I read it!
This is such a fun paranormal series and I can’t wait to see how it ends up!

Omg this addition to an awesome shifter series was amazing. So much love from these guys. Even when things aren't going too well. A huge surprise had me screaming and laughing and I just loved all the new information in this book. Can't wait for the next one.

I absolutely love Callie’s books they always leave me begging for more! You can't help but root for Sable, Ridge, Tryston, Archer, and Dare. The story does end on an amazing cliffhanger that leaves me begging for the next book in the series Dark Wolf that will be released on November 29, 2020.
I would highly recommend this book if you love Reverse Harems or Paranormal Romance.

Yet another cliffhanger. This author really knows how to get her readers hooked and wanting more. I love that she’s both a witch and a wolf and that she’s choosing to side with the wolves she loves. I love that Dare finally accepts her and stops running. I hate Ridges brother and hope he’s dealt with appropriately. I’m so glad her fake uncle is finally gone and can’t hurt her anymore.

I may have mentioned this before, but truly, Ms. Rose's works are always so, so, GOOD.
I adore all of the MCs and the emotions evoked in here... no words. I thought I enjoyed Fated Magic but loved this one even more. I appreciate that there's no cheap/lazy drama, allowing the reader to truly empathize with the conflict the characters' are going through. Shifter stories are one of my favorite genres and so I hope Ms. Rose will continue in this area. I hope Dark Wolf won't be the last in this series because I feel like things have just begun for Sable.
I can't recommend this series enough.

Dude, the book's title got me so worried for Sable and her men! 😌😅 Broken Bond is the 2nd installment of Callie Rose's Claimed by Wolves series (there are two books left in the series). Broken Bond picks up where Fated Magic left off; Sable is in the middle of a magic(al) transition, upon the discovery that she is a witch. When she wakes up, she finds three of her guys still by her side, despite her status as a witch. One, who hates witches with a vengeance, abandons her and the other guys.
Throughout the book, Sable, Ridge, Archer, Trystan, and Dare experience a roller coaster ride of twists and turns that will set up the premise for the next book, Dark Wolf. And I cannot wait for it! I'm waiting as patiently as I can for Ms. Callie Rose. As always, her writing is phenomenal (with very few mistakes), and her rich and relatable characters bring out the best in her stories!
Be warned; this does end with a cliffhanger that will leave you wondering and guessing, but it won't give you blue ovaries like the first book! 😂😏 (I still think that was really cruel of you, Callie, to end Fated Magic the way you did, just when it was heating up...literally. 😁) Not a lot of action goes on in Broken Bond; to me, it's focused on character progression and relationships, probably leading up to how Sable, her mates, and the rest of the wolf shifters will tackle on the problems with witches. So, be prepared for lots of feelings (and steamy moments) and plot buildup instead of action (unless you count the sexy times haha).

In this installment of Sable's story, we see her adjusting to life as a witch with her men, who are mortal enemies with witches. Dare really struggles with it and even left her while she was transitioning. He gets hurt picking a fight with witches so the gang takes him to the East pack (Archer's pack) where Archer's ailing father has the medical supplies required to take care of him. Then news comes that Lawson, Ridge's brother, is trying to take over North pack.

I would say this book was much more predictable after having read the first one, but mostly because I've read so many books in this genre that I can usually guess how these things go by the little hints the author drops--so I usually say props to the author for dropping those little hints!

3.5 rounded to 4. I liked this a little better. I could have done without the potential rejection and hurt that Dare inflicted. I know everyone has certain tropes they love but rejected mates have never held any interest for me, for the same reason I don’t like second chance romance. I don’t like to read about someone’s heartbreak.
I honestly enjoy shy, submissive heroines just as much as badass feisty ones - there’s a time and a place for everything and all that. I liked Sable well enough before she started to blossom but I liked her so much more after.
I’ve like this series pretty well. I don’t think I’ve ever read a RH shifter book before. At least, I can’t recall any specifically. Truly, I’m not 100% sure the whole sharing thing works well here. I mean, her harem seems mostly ok with it, it’s just that wolf shifters are highly possessive, especially alphas. So here’s 4 alphas set in a world where it’s clear plural relationships aren’t the norm and possibly unheard of. I’m having a bit of trouble swallowing that notion but otherwise this has been an entertaining story.
One last thing, I LOVE that Amora isn’t some catty bitch who’s not so secretly in love with Ridge and plotting to come between them. I see so much of that sort of thing in books and it always frustrates me. Thank you, Callie Rose.

Oh my heavens Sable has GROWN!! From the docile broken girl to a strong woman, with the help of her men. The scene with Trystan and her was such a turning point. Watching her stand up for her beliefs and show that she has as much to say as the others made me want to do a fist pump! You go girl!!!

At the end of Fated Magic we had discovered Sable was a witch, and boy did no one seem happy about that. Now Sable needs to figure out what this will mean for her budding relationships with her men. Nothing good could possibly come out of her turning into the enemy, into what they hate most. She also needs to understand what exactly this means for her as well. She doesn't want to be a witch, this is not how things were supposed to happen. She has no clue how to manage the magic inside her, and she worries what harm may come to those around her. With those fears in mind, Sable decides she needs to learn about the witch she's become. Book two in this series takes us on a twisty, bumpy journey of discovery, acceptance, and even more revelations. With all that happens and is discovered in this book, I can't wait to find out what Callie gives us in the next one. Callie has completely captivated me with this story, she has me craving to know what, and who, is to come next. Until then, happy reading my friends!

In Fated Magic, we met Sable and her men and saw them help her begin to grow beyond her traumatic past with the help of her mates. In Broken Bond, we gain greater insights into her men and how they individually handle the fallout from the heart-stopping conclusion to book 1.
As Sable continues to learn to cope in this new magical world, she in turn helps her mates grow and start healing wounds from their own broken pasts. The chapters from the men’s POV are some of my favorites and the way Callie Rose deftly handled this book’s first bombshell was delightfully perfect and left me grinning like a loon.
She gave me everything I wanted with this book, and a few things I wasn’t even aware I wanted. As usual, she brings the heat along with some of the best dirty talking heroes around. Her signature cliffhanger isn’t nearly as painful as the last, but leaves be wishing for book 3 now now now!

The continuation of the Claimed by Wolves series is now out! If you’ve read part one, you know it ended on one heck of a cliffhanger! Sable is back and dealing with a whole new set of issues that put her new fragile bonds at risk. The Alphas, Ridge, Trystan, Archer and Dare, all promised to be there for Sable, no matter the circumstance. Yet, after a major discovery involving her, not all the Alphas are as accepting as they once promised. The struggles thrown at them seem to get worse and worse yet, Sable refuses to give up. The cliffhanger for book one was brutal, so I was anxiously awaiting this book! There was a big plot point that I expected and was HOPING for so I’m really happy! I only wish we could have gotten more of the guys’ POVs; in this one, I felt like there were less of their chapters this time around. Sable is becoming stronger, and isn’t afraid to ask for or demand what she wants from Trystan, Dare, Archer, and Ridge. Dare had a lot to work through in this book, and I wish we could have seen more of his thought process because how he treated Sable at a critical time for her was not good, whereas Archer has just as much trauma in his past and handled things beautifully.
Clint is just awful and evil. I’m not surprised per se by how this ended, but it definitely puts a different spin on Sable’s past. I’m excited to see where the story goes, and that Sable, Ridge, Archer, Trystan, and Dare will be tackling it together!

My mind is reeling. wow, the last few chapters of Broken Bond really set the pace for the rest of the series. I’m so hooked i’m really wondering how freaking fast i can read the next 2 books.
First and foremost, fuck you Clint. Fuck you hard you piece of shit.
Okay, anyway.. Broken Bond was everything I wanted and more. I am loving reading Sable’s overcoming her abusive past and gaining a newfound strength. She still has anxiety and panic, but she’s being challenged by her men and growing so much stronger each day.
And ugh, these men. I’m so happy to see their relationship grow with Sable beyond just the mating bond. They’ve all taken the time to get to know and care for her. Even the guys, who were more-so acquaintances in the beginning, now all have a deep friendship. This group makes my soul happy.
I highly recommend this series!
