It's not like I am complaining it being an Omegaverse....
It's just that it was a drag to read this in the starting because of kinda toxic plot.

Half of this book is just smut, but it’s fun. What’s weird is that the translation uses some extremely formal English. Like, INSANELY formal.
For example, this paragraph from the MC’s narration:
“The office settled into an eerie quietude. In an endeavor to produce noise, I forcefully opened and shut drawers and engaged in vigorous typing on my keyboard, yet I soon desisted. Whenever silence engulfed the room, self-loathing inundated me.”
Is it me or is it just insanely formal? This is a silly little smut novel written with all the pomp of Victorian prose. Even the characters speak like that sometimes. Even during the smut scenes! The top asking “Where should I bring my efforts to a close?” - meaning if he should come inside or on the bottom’s face - made me just burst out laughing at how stupid it is.
The original is in Korean, so idk maybe it was meant to be highly formal in the original too and the translation isn’t to blame. It’s just so jarring - the previous volume wasn’t like this. And both are the official translation by WordExcerpt.

Keith is better in this book. He is still terrible, but less terrible. I hope he continues to get better in the next installment. I did enjoy this book, but the ending was just a lot. At around the 70% mark, we get a sex scene, then the remainder of the book is pretty much just sex scene after sex scene after sex scene. There was just so much sex and I was only able to get through it because I thought this was the final book in a duology and that I was going to get a resolution.

mi opinión es basada en la novela, el mangwa poco me atrajo.
Es mucho mejor la novela ya que puedo saber un poco mas sobre los dos. La trama no atrapa mucho, la historia entra en bucle lleno de clichés pero de alguna manera no resulta del todo aburrido.
Cabe aclarar que los dos son bien toxicos.
El titulo refleja bien lo que trata el libro.
Es mucho mejor la novela ya que puedo saber un poco mas sobre los dos. La trama no atrapa mucho, la historia entra en bucle lleno de clichés pero de alguna manera no resulta del todo aburrido.

Σίγουρα ένας καλύτερος Keith από το πρώτο βιβλίο -μέχρι η ιστορία να πάρει την "κατηφορά" και τα πράγματα ν' αρχίσουν και πάλι να στραβώνουν-, αλλά εξακολουθεί να είναι ένα red flag με πόδια. Παρ' όλα ταύτα, η ιστορία έχει ένταση και νεύρο, ενώ το smut του είναι κάτι που δεν σε αφήνει σε καμία περίπτωση αδιάφορο.

The author didn't settle the initial conflict in this second novel, but I know she's close to, same as the last novel I read this one in a twink, here we have more relationship development of Keith and Yeonwoo. I just wanna begin the third volume 😭
