When everyone is talking about boys, Jo can't stop thinking about girls. It wouldn't be so bad if she could share her new discovery with her best friend, but how can she tell Ellie that she likes... Ellie?

A sweet lesbian romance about first loves and discovering yourself.
Arizona Tape lives her dream life hanging out with her dog and writing stories all day.
Her favourite books to write are urban fantasy and paranormal romances with queer leads, stories that she wished were around when she was younger.
When she’s not writing, she can be found cooking up a storm in the kitchen, watching shows that make her cry, or trying her hand at her new hobby of the week.

A nice friends to lovers story about two long term friends in their first year of University. Jo is about to come out and joins Platypus, an LGBTQ group that often meets at Rainbow Central. When she does come out to her long time friend Ellie, she is afraid it will ruin their friendship of ten years. There is no sex in these stories, this is my second in the series. Nice group of supportive people, 3.5 stars on ebook.
Oof, I fundamentally disagree with this book's approach to (not) imposing your romantic love on your best friend, or any love on any one tbh – and to romantic love/relationships as the most important type of love/relationships. It really felt like the best friend returned the MC's feelings only because she wasn't given any alternative to keep this person she loved so much (just as importantly as any other type of not-romantic-love) in her life. Add that the writing was not good, and needed more editing, and I can't even say this book was okay, sorry.
This is a sweet love story between Jo and Ellie. They have have been best friends for 10 years and shared everything. The plot is what is the difference between friendship and love. The plot is good and the characters well written. You can feel the emotion between both girls and it makes for a good story. I recommend this book for romance lovers. falling in love with your best friend before either of you realize that you have feelings for each other can be awkward, tricky and amazing/ or very much not
a touching story of two young women who have been friends for a decade as they try and figure out romance and friendships and if theirs work together

A romance covering friendship to love very nicely written by the author. Jo loves Ellie (her best friend) but how to tell her and how will she react. Dreams of their future and friends fill this little college romance. A quick, easy read that satisfies and is #3 in the Rainbow Central Series.

Absolutely loved this book, the pacing was perfect and the two main characters cam alive for me - the rest were two dimensional but that stopped attention wandering from the protagonists The Author set out to write a teen lesbian romance and succeeded by any measure - a deserved five stars. I will give this to my daughter to read. Small point, when I got this book I did not realize it was part of a trilogy but it does not matter as it definitely can stand alone Arizona Tape is fast becoming one of my favorite authors
Jo and Ellie have been best friends forever, but when Jo realises she likes girls, not boys, and that she’s in love with Ellie, things get… awkward. This story was filled with new-to-college experiences like getting lost on campus, making new friends and self discovery. Such a sweet story.
Well written and composed story. Well developed characters and relationships among them. Good reality and background that adds to the story. Plus fruits twist. Easy to read and follow and relaxing.

Please Be My Love by Arizona Tape is another book that I enjoyed reading. Jo's journey of self awareness of her feelings for her best friend Ellie excellent. Stepping out of her comfort to grow into new identity and meet new friends amid the college life. It was all so smooth that I was done reading before I knew it.

good, book 1 had a bit more suspense but this was sweet nonetheless. I like the Rainbow central series overall, the age disclaimers at the start of each book also make me giggle.
This is a cute story of two best friends both initially straight-ish. Jo figures herself out quite quickly but Ellie takes a lot longer to work out what or who she wants. Nice book.
