This book is a well written and researched testament to all of those who took to sea to save those whose lives were in peril. Dunmore East RNLI has long had a tradition of saving lives at sea, right back to the early 19th century, and this book tells that very story. It does so by looking at the many shouts that crews went out on, and the many characters that were behind the lifejackets of each crew. The quality of the book itself is superb, just like the stories within it.
