A Fast-paced 2nd Chance Romance with Heartache, Lies to Protect, Dreams come true, Meet again, Reasons, Forgiveness, Some Action *ooh!*, HEA & I want more!
I loved Tate-Hennie AND adored Seeing Catherine & Jackson (From: Salvation Series By Corinne Michaels). This story was on the shorter side, I DEVOURED it in a little more than 2hrs.

Hennie; Fun & Smart; Works In CJJ Public Relations Company, where Catherine is her Boss.
Tate; Charming & Stubborn; is the CEO of Jensen A&E Company.
The story starts 10yrs ago, letting us see what exactly happened then.
He was the boy, with a criminal father, who fell for The good girl. Tate & Hennie were high school sweethearts. She'd gotten the chance to go to her dream college, but wanted to stay here with him. It was Their daily fight. Then he lied to her, that he cheated, So she'd break up with him & Chase her dreams. And she did.
Over the years He worked hard to be the man she deserves, hoping against hope that when the time comes She'll forgive him, 'Cause he'll win his girl (His one & Forever Love!) back.
[Btw, Trouble is Tate's Nickname for Hennie!]
When Tate acquires Jensen from its previous owner, it had little to No PR. this was his Chance to meet Hennie..So he formulated a Plan.
Think how surprised Hennie was that Her latest Client was the asshole who (She thought) Cheated on her, Who she wants to hate but Can't? *cue DRAMA*
Their Love, Flame & Chemistry is still HOT as ever..
From the moment they meet, Tate does everything to win her & her trust back. It's Talks, Dinners, Fun, Reminiscing..
But it isn't until later that Hennie overhears Tate & Nolan (Their Mutual Childhood friend) talk, that Hennie finds, as Tate now had to confess (Which works in his favor) that he hadn't actually cheated on her years ago & his Reasons to lie.
All she thought for years was a lie, Can they move forward from this?
Their chemistry is hot & Sexy times inevitable BUT the road to forgiveness is long. Though Worth it.
Hennie tries to maintain a professional Air as Tate's her Client..Though they would've succumbed sooner or later!
But then she'd to go back home to help her bestie Steffy & her daughter from S's Abusive Boyfriend. Tate's scared that H won't come back, but she will. If she wasn't Kidnapped *Cringe* (Why? Read to find out!).
We have Edgy scenes as Tate with Jackson's help is able to find & Save her!
And nothing like Danger to make Hennie realize how she'll regret if she never told Tate that she still loves him & wants to give him a 2nd Chance. Cue Healing, Talks, Being Together, I love yous & HEA *Yay!*
These two deserve all the happiness, but what about Steffy & Nolan? They have history, Nolan's in for a hell of a surprise, I really hope they get a book!

This was a good second chance romance. Tate and Hennie were high school sweethearts but they came from different worlds and her parents didn’t really want her with him. He had a somewhat hard life but always wanted the best for Hennie, even if that meant losing her. He pushed her away so that she would go to the college of her dreams and be what she always dreamed of being. Tate broke both of their hearts in the process.
Ten years pass and Tate is determined to try and win Hennie back. He knows it’s going to be hard to win back her trust but he’s going to work as hard as possible to do it. He did have her best interest at heart when he hurt her so badly.
Hennie is blindsided that her new client is the man that shattered her heart. She initially wants nothing to do with him or his company but eventually she listens to his reasons.
I did feel like she sort of rushed back into his arms with how hurt she still was after 10 years. I also wished the situation that occurred towards the end would have been a bit bigger part of the book, it would have really given it a more suspenseful aspect to the story.
I am definitely wanting Steffy and Nolan’s story.

As a teenager Hennie fell in love with Tate and was devastated when she believed that their relationship was nothing but a lie. She has moved forward with her life and created a successful career for herself and isn’t about to repeat the mistakes of the past.
Tate didn’t break Hennie’s heart because he didn’t love her but because he did. He is determined to win back the heart of the only woman he has ever loved but before they can have a future together, they must deal with the secrets standing between them.
Tate and Hennie have some challenges to overcome but there was no denying the chemistry and love between them.

Hennie and Tate thought they would be together forever, but then reality shows it's self and Tate doesn't want to be the one to hold her back. Years later he still can't stop thinking about her and he discovers a way to get her to see him again, but is it a good idea. When Hennie finds out Tate is the one who hired her company to work for him she wants nothing to do with the man who broke her. Now Tate has to prove to her he is the man she knows and should open her heart to him again. This is my first book by Angela, but she did no disappoint. This is a great addition to the Salvation Society and look forward to reading more of her stories soon.

When you lie for the sake of someone's future, it's not all that bad, right? For Tate Palmer, it's what he had to do so Hennie Marsh could pursue her dreams. When they meet up again ten years later, all the feelings are there, but Hennie's a bit gun shy. I get why Tate lied; he didn't want Hennie to sacrifice her dreams. The thing about young love, one tends to think only with one's heart. But, they were the ones they never forgot. To have the kind of love where every person you meet and could potentially date is measured by the one you love the most, the one who stole your heart from the first moment. It wasn't an easy road for Henie and Tate to travel back towards each other and he employed the most underhanded way to see her again. But I could feel how he did it with the best intentions. Those plot twists were unexpected and the ending...do I sense a book about Steffy and Nolan?

I honestly have a hard time when a man makes a decision for his person by hurting her so she can fly, which is what happened in Trouble. Tate & Hennie were in love but he decided to hurt her so she would go on to pursue her dreams, and while she has, her heart never really got over it. In the present, Hennie has been requested to meet the CEO of Jensen A&E, little did she know that she was going to come face to face with Tate again. He plans to get her back, but there's that whole issue about the lies he told to set her free, and so I wouldn't have forgiven him. I'm not going to lie, the chemistry is out of control and won't be denied for much longer, but can they get past all the lies & betrayals from the past for a shot at the future they should have had all along?! You know what to do to find out! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

This was my first read from this author. It was an enjoyable read with interesting characters. The writing was fluid and well paced holding your attention from beginning to end.
Hennie and Tate were highschool sweethearts. Tate loved her so much that to give her the chance to fulfil her dream he lied breaking her heart and his. Now years later they are face to face and the truth will come out however now he wont walk away he will fight for her and to show how much he loves her.

Hennie and Tate don't have an easy go of their relationship. There are lies and deception that causes hurt and feelings of being untrustworthy. But their chemistry is scorching and I enjoyed seeing how they would move past their past and hurt and build a future together. I practically devoured this.

Hennie and Tate are highschool sweethearts and are so in love you can't help but be jealous. Tate knows what he wants and loves Hennie with all of his heart, but sometimes that is not enough. To give her, her dream he must break the vow they made and live with the heartache he has caused. Now years later they are face-to-face and Hennie is about to hand Tate his bottom. However Tate came to fight for her and for their love when the truth comes out can she forgive him for doing right by her? Or will see nothing but betrayal forever?

A second chance romance between Hennie and Tate. Past secrets are revealed and they have to decide if they can move forward together now.
I thought this was a nice read and an interesting premise and characters. The story had drama but didn't feel overly angsty. This was my first book from this author so I wasn't sure what to expect, but I enjoyed reading it.
