The story is disappointing, thus far.
I’ve read a lot of stories in this genre, and this one is definitely subpar.
The main character is pretty annoying. For someone having a second chance, she is still pretty naive. Half the time she’s running around like a bull in a china shop, and her emotional IQ is still at a zero, which makes the story drag on and on due to numerous misunderstandings between the MC and her husband.
And the promised mind reading (which could certainly help offset the MC lack of emotional IQ) only happened a few times at the beginning of the story, and then disappeared for the rest of this volume. Maybe it will resurface and play a role later on.
