The storyline of the story is good. It is interesting and does draw you in. I really like Alessandro and his personality. However, Alexa was really hard to connect with. She doesn’t listen and is always acting as if she knows everything even when it is new to her. They were both stubborn and hard headed throughout the story. However, we do start seeing them grow during the story. The story is well written and I am interested in seeing what happens next. It is certainly a story worth reading.

K.C’s debut into the paranormal genre in my opinion is a hit!!!
I really loved the character development and felt like I was on the journey with them.
The romance was a slow burn, but damn did it get hot!!!
This book had a little bit of everything in it, romance, humour, angst, suspense and action.
The ending has left me wanting MORE!!!

An interesting read for me. I loved that the story starts with the love of a father for his unborn child and the mother of his baby. It then goes to current time where the child discovers that she is as special as her aunt has always made her feel. The story is a slow burning ember that ignites into a full fledged fire.

I loved this book! The storyline has twists, turns, action and steam! Alessandro will have you purring like a kitten, while Alexa may have you grinding your teeth lol
This author has a fantastic ability to craft a story and I find it hard to believe this is her first paranormal! Definitely hope there’s a second book to come.

Ohhh this book had me right from the blurb.... promise to a dying father to protect his child. Talk about a worthy make!!!! Alessandro is that male!!! And Alec is the one who gets to feel that protection and that will to keep her alive at all costs. It’s like fate had a plan for them and this slow burn told that plan perfectly. Truly enjoyable story. Definitely recommend!!!

You will love Ms. Rice's first dip into the PNR waters. This story has age gap, vampires, secret pasts, and so much more. I can't wait to see what she writes next.

This isn't my normal type of book I read but a friend said it was good, so I got it. It is a good book the only reason I gave it 3 stars is because it skips around and some parts aren't answered in the book. It is packed with twists, turns and action that keeps you interested and the main characters are amazing. It does end with a HEA and it has an opening for more books if the author decided to make it a series.
