A complete dark bully romance trilogy! Contains exclusive bonus content!
At Angelview Academy, Saint Angelle is considered God. But don't be fooled by his ridiculous name or that pretty face because Saint? He’s as wicked as they come. I should know. I'm the new girl who pissed him off. The nobody who called out his crew of vicious tyrants. The mortal who wouldn't bow then and sure as hell won’t now. Saint swears I'll regret it. He vows to own every inch of me. He even promises to break me. That’s where he screwed up. Because if angels can fall, then so can so-called gods. And I want to be the one to bring Saint to his knees.
This box set is almost 1,000 pages of dark new adult romance with enemies-to-lovers and bullying themes. It is not recommended for readers under 17 as it contains dubious situations and triggers that some readers may find offensive. It features the following content:
E.M. Snow is a writer of New Adult and Young Adult Romance. She's a little obsessed with reality TV, sour gummy worms, and angsty bad boys, and she's still trying to figure out what the hell she wants to be when she grows up. She lives with her husband and kids who are all pretty cool, except when they leave their dirty laundry around the house.
I’d like to not drag this review out and if reading the complete series will give me to rate all three I won’t, but I’ll say this I should have read this series before the other series.
Now, overall I wanted to rate this 4 stars only for the fact that book 3 dragged out so long that most of what happened in Books 1 & 2 continued into the third one, but since giving it some thought I knew it actually deserves a 5 star rating.
I love Saint even though I so badly wanted his own POV in each scene but just getting one POV wasn’t enough. Mallory I took my time liking her, only cause I felt like she was whiplash with her feelings towards Saint.
The secondary characters is always a bonus and you love them when they’re such awesome characters instead of getting only the H & h instead.
So for this I will leave and HOPE for more of Saint cause I tell you HE needs his own book and I feel like closure at the end wasn’t enough and plus I want to really get a grasp on the cliffhanger that is an actual ending.
This was so awful!! Complete and utter garbage. I HATED IT. With a passion.
- First, Mallory (the heroine) is a dumbass and a doormat. She always goes back to Saint even after everything he does to her....which is basically treating her worst than the dirt under his overpriced shoe.....and adding a severely strong body betraying syndrome on top of those winning qualities, I pretty much despise this heroine. She doesn't have a lick of self -respect in her entire body.
- Second, Saint is a Class A jerkface sexist pig. He is a toxic mess and not the dark, brutal and attractively intense kind that I drool over. He is a pure idiot if I have ever seen one!! And a Neanderthal.....I really wouldn't be surprised if he started wearing leaf skirts and peeing on Mallory to make his point all the time. There are alpha males (which I love) and then there are silly little boys like Saint who are like children with machine guns throwing tantrums. I am so annoyed and irritated with him I could literally explode!
- After all the bullying, there was not even a single apology from anyone, let alone grovelling. 30% into the second book and I was rolling my eyes all the time because everything was so fucking extra. It was all Laurel, Saint, Liam or Jenn....and nothing else. Mallory had no personal life (along with no self respect) I can very much tell you that. I think If there weren't people in her life stirring drama and giving her so much unnecessary attention, she could have slit her wrists from the sheer reason of nothing to do during a day🤦🤦
- Liam was a bipolar patient without having that disorder. I really really wanted someone to pick up his entitled rich ass, throw him in an abandoned mental asylum and lock the gates behind him. Also, he apologises so many times during the series that his name should be sorry instead of Liam. His only fucking role is saying sorry!!!! And despise all that, he was the only decent character in the whole series. See my conundrum now?!
Saint This book is from Mallory's point of view. I love that the author included a playlist at the beginning of the book. Mallory is a troubled teen who has had to be an adult for a long time. After a terrible accident, she had to escape and moved in with her mom's best friend in Atlanta. Her mom's friend does her best but, of course, has a job and isn't her mother. She is mature for her age as she has had to deal with a lot. She receives a weird letter. Her acceptance letter and a full-ride scholarship to AngelView Academy in California for her senior year of high school.
Upon arriving in Los Angeles and meeting some students, she realized AngelView Academy wasn't what she thought. The students are wealthy, pompous, and jerks. But not all of them. Sadly, she brought the school's bullying on herself by sticking her nose in where it didn't belong and upsetting the gods of the school. I admire her strength and tough skin but being new not sure it was wise to get on their radar so soon.
Things heat up between her and Saint as the bullying increasing. She is torn between Saint, a jerk, and Liam, a little less of a jerk. Liam is a complete jerk, but he saves her a few times. Things get steamy, too, so not expecting that.
We don't find much out about the mysterious accident or all the darkness in her path. Little things slip every once in a while, but I'm honestly waiting for this secret to implode.
Obviously, Saint is broken; he is a sociopath and definitely has a big ego. Mallory is strong, has thick skin, and lots of skeletons in her closet. She also can't seem to keep her opinions to herself. She almost has a hero complex, but I don't think she meant it to come across that way. This book is a very steamy story with lots of mature content.
So wondering how this book will end. I didn't expect her skeletons to be revealed so drastically. This book ends with an unexpected hot disaster. I'm excited to read the next book and see what happens. After all, we only made it just to Christmas break.
Malice
Again totally love the playlist at the beginning of the book. This book picks up exactly where the first one left off. This book is for a single point of view focusing on Mallory. All her secrets are out, and she decides to return to AngelView Academy. She isn't above suspicion, and now the Gods are not too happy with her and the rest of the student body. Things are pretty uncomfortable for her. Liam seems to be a little less of a jerk, but not by much.
Saint is very hot and cold in this book, possessive one minute and ignoring her the next. Honestly, I hope she finds a happily ever after with Liam, but I thought that was going okay, and then it wasn't. She is always waiting for the next big thing to turn the school against her. Unfortunately, many secrets come to light, and she is tormented with her thoughts and heart. Liam is actually sweet and Saint, albeit a jerk, seems to care.
This book was a hot mess, but it totally explained why she was Saints target. The question is, what now? What will happen next? I like this even though it is dark, the intrigue is high, and the emotional pull in is there in the story. Mallory is really strong, but she seems to be breaking easier with each new thing that comes to light.
Eden
Absolutely love the playlist at the beginning of the book. This book starts from Saints' point of view. He has a very interesting encounter with Rosalind. These books get more interesting as Saint acts more like a boyfriend and less like a creepy stalker. Mallory still managed to get herself in trouble, but now she has more to fear. Liam is still trying for Mallory and shifting between a friend and angry at her for being with Saint. Ghost is kinda creepy in this book. Mallory is definitely louder than she has been and stronger. This book ends with a terrifying action scene that would leave you on a significant cliffhanger without the bonus epilogues. I guess it was worth downloading the box set.
And the bonus epilogue is for Liam's point of view instead of Mallory or Saint. But then there is more, so don't miss out.
This book series is a mess from start to finish. There are so many lies, truths, and messed-up history that comes into play in this trilogy that I even had trouble keeping it all straight. I'm honestly surprised the author came up with something so twisted. I expected the jerks and the bullying, but I wasn't expecting a convoluted history, murder, and manipulation. This is her story, a very dark trilogy but also super steamy. It was an intriguing story, and I couldn't put it down. I want to know what happens next if the manic characters ever lived happily ever after. If they ever got a chance at a normal life? You won't be disappointed if you can handle triggers, dark romance, and bullying themes to read this book trilogy.
Saint is the namesake of the first book in the series, is he or isn't he one? According to Mal, he is borderline, as she is the one that his sole focus of the school year is on. Continuously and constantly asking her to leave even as he dives in between her legs let's just say.
The three "Gods" of the Angelview school are Saint, Liam, and Gabe. The school is known as the elite and is predominantly hosting the offspring of the richest of the richest and powerful.
These three main male characters run hot and cold throughout the storyline towards Mal. Sometimes bullying and completely hostile towards her while other times being the hero or just sitting and talking with her.
I would say this is a run of the mill dark bullying high school romance book, but what sets this apart are the dark secrets that Mal is hiding and running away from.
The mystery that surrounds her comes out in a very public and mind-boggling plus Earth shattering moment then ends with with another mysterious secret cliffhanger.
On to the second book, hostility and animosity reign supreme. As Mal and saint continue their tumultuous relationship, secrets that came to light continue being unearthed.
As Mal is forced to come to the understanding of her past, it slams into the present and leaves her future questionable.
A lot of secrets that are all intertwined or coming closer and closer to the surface with only minor understandings and answers in between here and there. Even more need to be answered as both saint and Mel become closer.
Eden is the namesake of the third book, and just like the first book is named after the main hero, Hayden is named after heroin... Also known as Mal. As her mothers' truths continue to come to light, Eden/Mal, is confused and feels that she cannot trust anybody because the more people she becomes close with, the higher chance they have of being murdered.
Everything ends as it did in the beginning... In flames, glorious cleansing fire.
“I’m hungry, little masochist,” I say, and her blue eyes gleam. “You always are,” she says with a grin. “But first … pancakes.”
Mallory Ellis is running from her old life. When she gets an acceptance letter from one of the most prestigious schools in the country she thinks it's a joke. However, she finds out it's not one bit a joke and not only has she been accepted, but she got a scholarship, so everything is paid for, including her ticket there. She immediately thinks this a definite turning point for her life. Graduate from this great school and her possibilities will be unlimited. Unfortunately she finds out that this school is not at all what she was thinking it would be, and she is already deemed the charity case. The bad news doesn't stop there though. Her first day she manages to wind up on the shit list of the King of the school. After that her life becomes hell. Every one in school follows what the King and his crew tell them. She's constantly ridiculed and bullied. But none of that compares to what the King himself, Saint Angelle, does to her. He wants her gone and will stop at nothing to get what he wants. He uses every secret she confides in him against her. He breaks her.
But honestly can you ever keep a good woman down? After everything Saint done, Mallory comes back to school anyway. This semester, however, is going to make the last pale in comparison. And it's not Saint that is going to be the one to turn her world upside down this time. Mallory finds out her whole life has been nothing but a lie. And the truth is so much worse than the life she had. Her mother is not who she thought she was, but her real mother is so much worse. Saint has also been lied to. While, he knows his father is a despicable man, there is still so much he had no idea about. Saint is determined to keep Mallory safe and will go against anyone who tried to hurt her, his father included.
Saint was so not the bully I was expecting, but he was one I definitely couldn't get enough of. He was an asshole and owned it. He never apologized for who he is. He took what he wanted when he wanted it and gave zero fucks. Mallory, honestly never knew what hit her. Because Saint is definitely one of those bad boys that you can't just walk away from. This series was great!! All the angst and chemistry was just everything. Every twist just heightened everything. Nothing went like I thought it would and I was constantly thrown for a loop. However, this series is not for the faint at heart. It's rough. There is a lot of triggering topics. I do highly recommend this series for those who love bully romances though. I promise you will not be disappointed. Just know that Saint is not a light bully so if you can't handle your bully being a ruthless asshole this is not for you.
This book is a little different from most of my bully reads. Saint is a super possessive guy but him Mallory haven't exactly connected yet. You can tell he cares but their relationship so far is very surface level. I don't know how to describe it really.
The characters and the plot have me sucked in, the tidbits we're getting have me on the edge of my seat. What's with Saint's dad, and Liam? How about Dylan? This is crazy! On to the next book!!
MALICE
THE PLOT THICCCCCKENS!
OMG I love and hate Saint constantly I don't know anymore. Poor Mallory is just being tossed about and we don't know who to trust! No time to discuss, I'm off to the next book!
EDEN
Okay....I finished it. 3 epilogues later and it's done. Mallory really got on my nerves this time around honestly. Her and Saint both, really. The constant back and forth drove me crazy. Total honesty? STICK IT OUT! There's satisfaction in the end even if I complained the whole time.
I'm review the box set. So there may be some small spoilers. I will make them small. First. I get the name of the book is Saint. But what in the hell. Liam should be the one to have gotten the girl. Mallory was infuriating. She was so weak and pliable with Saint. The shit he pulled in the first two books, was heavy frickin bullying, and she was his little lap dog. Eager to go straight back to him. Before she even knew the reason why. And even then...he should have frickin Grovelled. She was basically Laurel by the end of the book. Saint obsessed. And for someone who is "so good" at boxing, she was sure a dang victim a lot in the fighting scenes. Barely getting a hit on anyone. And then, frickin Saint. "OH I want answers, and you'll get them or I will F it out of you." AT LITERALLY ANY THING. It was at every few chapters. I get it's a bully romance. But what the hell. Come up with some new shit, that crap every few chapters was so easy to predict and Mal was always "surprised". Give me a break. Hopefully Liam gets his own book.
Plot was epic, there were so many twists and turns that kept you guessing and wanting more. Every character was executed well there were no half assed attempts at background characters everyone had personality and had been thought out.
It’s definitely a bully romance so don’t take that lightly, it’s more intense than your usually enemies to lovers.
Spice was good there were definitely some hot scenes, no major kinks involved. (I’m very desensitised to spice from my reading)
Points I wasn’t too keen on: Also Saint took a longgggg time for me to like, he’s coming from the right place he’s just so misguided and damaged he has no idea how to approach anything emotional. Mallory did get on my nerves slightly, by the 3rd book I wanted more backbone from her and push back with Saint, for me she needed that big fuck you moment and Saint needed to have to grovel which just wasn’t there. I didn’t feel like they had that moment where he realises ‘fuck I’m going to lose her’ she’s very much at his beck and call.
oh my god this was incredible!!!! i didn’t want to put this boxset down, Saint and Mal had me in a chokehold. Their story is a flipping rollercoaster, the twists and turns were insane and I didn’t want it to end. I stayed up 2 nights in a row reading this as I just couldn’t believe what I was reading, I can’t remember the last time I got so wrapped up in a book series. This has everything you want in a dark bully romance, and this was VERY heavy on the bullying which I LOVED!!! the angst, the sexual tension, the chemistry, the constant push and pull between Saint and Mal was just phenomenal! This series was such a trill to read, the spicy scenes were extra spicy, I mean Saint is literally sex on legs. I can understand why he’s called a god and ‘Hot Draco’🤣 I can’t recommend this series enough, it’s so good and I wish I had read it sooner.
The reason I like this book for the fact that the love Saint has for Mallory or the dark bully side he shows to her is just so intense that inspite of him weird ways he is always trying to protect her. This is a dark romance as the title suggests so I would recommend you guys to read it only if you are prepared for some twisted stuff which doesn’t usually happen in a normal high school. Also I chose the 4 stars cause Snow’s books are new to me but I think she has the potential to create even better fiction.
Book one and 2 of the boxset was really good but book 3 of the series for me really let it down. I feel that the whiplash of the relationship between mal and Saint was just, I don't know!!! For a smart girl, she asked a lot of dumb questions and just seemed too forward and hung up on the little details which I found annoying towards the end. The leading up in book 3 just seemed to drag then the ending was too rushed. Towards the end I just felt like I was % watching on my kindle app to get to the end.
This series was okay. Just okay. Not a bad read if you need a new series to read and have nothing else lined up but definitely not a go to or repeat read. I liked the spiciness in the sense of sex in the book but I couldn't stand how even well into the third book of the series she still wasn't standing up for herself or telling Saint how she truly felt. Idk she was kind of a weak female character in my opinion. I feel like the suspense part of the series could've also been done better.
The book was true to its description. It was a dark high school bully romance. It got a little tedious with all the kiss and make up plot but the ending was worth it. If you’re looking for true romance don’t even consider this because this was one of the most toxic relationships I’ve ever read in high school bully romance but if you have some free time and want to read something different and spicy then this is for you. My heart literally stopped after reading the first epilogue.
This series kept me entertained throughout. The characters were not what I expected and I think that's what brought more to the story. I am hoping we get the story behind Loni and Gabe and they get a book or novella, there's a story there that I would really like to read.
I love how this story has ups and downs. Holds your attention non stop from start to finish. Love Mallory and Saints story. It is the most compelled story from start to finish. I can not wait to read more books from E.M. Snow
This series is everything! I went through all the emotions the characters experienced. I enjoyed the story line. I found myself wanting more. I hope we get a spin off series focusing on the other “Gods”.
I read and listened to this series.I really enjoyed it, even if at times I wanted to smack some of the characters upside the head and tell them to just talk to each other already. The great thing about box sets is that you can read the entire series at one time
This wasn’t even romantic a little bit. Want enemies to lovers, but mostly enemies? This is your series! Lol they barely spend anytime in love or communicating. The ending surprised me and honestly seemed unnecessary. Thankful for those extra epilogues.
This entire review has been hidden because of spoilers.
3 ⭐️ I enjoyed the plot but I hated the characters so much . The fmc was soooooo stupid and stubborn and very annoying 🙄. The mmc was so bad . It was sooo toxic I didn't feel any love at all between them
I have to get in my tablet because its has some bonus chapter because i have read it long time ago. Now the E.M. Snow has it on set. Even though, I will get it anyways because its so good.
I loved this series. Can't wait to read the legacy series. I wish we could experience more of their relationship without the pressure they were under while being in school.
This was a good series overall, although I absolutely can’t stand the ending for Eden. The bonus epilogues help but I am so mad with the ending, it ruined the book for me.
