Whether you are a lover of the secret baby trope or not, this is a fantastic anthology full of delicious and unique stories showcasing some of my favorite authors- and some new to me authors that I'm looking forward to learning more about. While not complete novels, each story is still pretty substantial- most around 10-12 chapters, so we still get into it with each of the characters.

While each story has surprise, secret babies and romantic second chances, I loved how each entry highlights what we love about each author. Nikki Ash's story kicks off the anthology with a captivating modern fairytale that brings all the sexy and the swoon- the perfect way to start an anthology with ample heart and tender feels.

K Webster's entry brings all her erotic taboo in a reverse age gap teacher-student story that is a new fav- super steamy, but also with a lot of heart. Kelsey Clayton has wowed me before in this trope, and here she gives us a rockstar, best friend's sister, secret baby story- and it was just delicious and the perfect showcase of her keen chemistry writing.

Rebecca Jenshak shines with a sporty and sweet story that highlights her charming story telling, and per usual Kaylee Ryan hits me with all the heartwarming feels and sexy sweetness.

And Coralee June brings some much needed darkness to the anthology with a seductive and edgy mafia story- a story that stands out for it's emotive richness and unique perspective. Even in the shorter format, Cora packs so much angst and emotional tension in this steamy and dangerous tale. Now I'm thirsty fore more mafia/dark secret baby romances thanks to Cora's inspired approach.

I enjoyed most of the stories immensely- and found a few other authors I'm excited to check out. And, it all supports charity- and less than a dollar for 16 stories? Quite a steal- don't miss out on this great anthology!

Time To Feed Your Need for Sweet & Sexy Surprise Baby Romances

Snapshot by Marley Valentine

The author never fails to deliver an emotional love story with passion. This sweet, second chance, surprise baby romance will steal your heart.

Rio and Blake share an instant connection. One unforgettably beautiful night, but fear of the future had Blake running.

They were strangers but they never felt that way. The intensity of their chemistry is palpable. Blake and Rio were drawn to one another the moment they met. However, Blake was overwhelmed by her feelings and when she left she had no way to reach him.

A fated second chance has them finding their way back to each other.

Loved it!

Review of Calm the Storm by Kelsey Clayton

This rockstar, surprise baby romance will give you the feels.

Harland has a dream for his band to make it big. Just as he’s about to sign his first music contract, he decides to celebrate by finally giving in and taking what he wants...Emery. She’s off-limits being his little sister’s best friend. Emery has crushed on him for as long as she can remember. So being with Harland is a dream come true...until the next morning.

Harland goes off to pursue music while Emery is left with a broken heart and a baby on the way. He’s chasing his dream while she’s forced to forget hers to raise their child. Keeping the result of their one night a secret is the only way, so at least one of them gets the future they imagined.

They still live in the same town, so it’s only a matter of time until he finds out the truth. Since he’s on a break from touring and he’s finally come home after five years, that time is now.

Harland is not your cliched rockstar and he was easy to love. Once he finds out about what he left behind, he’s ready to embrace his new role. A short story with a lot of heart and a HEA they both deserve.

Review of My Ruin by Jacob Chance

Every young man’s fantasy fulfilled. Gorgeous, single woman moves in and shows an interest in the boy next door.

Emmett is leaving for college after the summer. Things just got way more interesting when Juliet moves into the neighborhood. He’s eighteen and she’s his dream girl. Too bad she’s ten years older and way out of his league...or is she?

When the new neighbors begin to spend some time together, their attraction grows and things heat up. They know their time is limited because Emmett has plans, but being together is too hard to resist.

This reverse age gap, surprise baby romance will deliver all your favorite tropes in one sexy little read.

I normally skip over books that have a collection of short stories since I feel the stories are rushed and the reader doesn't get the whole story. But I honestly enjoyed this collection especially since secret babies are one of my favorites.

I've enjoyed this anthology so so much.
I adore to have the chance to taste different authors' writing in order to find new to me authors to love.

These stories are all good, someone better than others, and making an average of the votes I gave it five stars.
My favourite were "And One" by Rebecca Jenshak and "Quarterback Keeper" by Lacey Black because jocks are my guilty pleasures.
I also liked "Finding Prince" by Nikki Ash because Natalie and Luke's story is a modern fairy tail, "A Piece Of Us" by Heidi McLaughlin because Jack and Charlotte are so sweet together.
I was pleasantly impressed by Jacob Chance that in "My Ruin" tells the story of a widow, Juliet, who falls for her young neighbour, Emmett. The ten years age gap between the main characters is tasteful written and I really cheered for them to find the way back to each other.

I love the Surprise Baby trope and to read stories with cute kids in it, so I highly recommend to get it if you like me enjoy this trope.

For a good cause: The Linus project where handmade blankets are given to children in need.

There are a handful of authors that I have read their books from this Knocked up Anthology. Most of them are new to me authors and I love discovering new authors and those that are just new to me. This is a great way to get an introduction. There is something for everyone from several different tropes, second chance, enemies to lovers, friends to lovers, etc. The list is long so I haven’t listed them all.

I felt a little overwhelmed with how many novellas there were in this Anthology and feel I might have overdosed on this many knocked up stories so I would suggest not reading them all at one time but do read to then end! Just dole out the stories in smaller reading times. Overall I am going to give this Anthology 4 stars.

Finding Prince Charming by Nikki Ash is the first book in the Knocked Up Anthology and is William Arnold Thomas Lewis Christiansen the Fourth and Natalie’s story. Natalie has had an extremely rough life. She meets Liam and has a one night encounter with him and after romancing her he ends up leaving her without a trace. Since she has no idea as to who he really is she can’t find him to let him know that he is a father to be. Fast forward 5 years. She ends up with a surprise as to who Liam really is. I haven’t read anything by this author but have promoted her books in the past with my blog. I love when I discover a new to me author. This was an enjoyable little story and I would like to read more from her.

Quarterback Keeper by Lacey Black is another author from this anthology whom I have promoted but have never read a book by her but, one that I would like to read more of her books.

Ashtyn Harris’ twin brother Alex is best friends with Tate Steele (a quarterback with the St. Louis Fire Pro football team) Tate is staying with her brother for the weekend while he rests his knee injury. Ashtyn and Tate end up drinking a bit too much and things get pretty steamy. Of course you know what happens since this book is entitled Knocked Up.

Spark by Nicole Blanchard - This is Avery and Walker’s story. She is a bartender/waitress and he is a Wildland Firefighter. Walker works 9 months of the year off fighting wildfires. Both of them are lonely so you know what happens next. And then Walker is gone again. But he left a surprise. When he is back in town after a storm has hit the town that Avery lives in and Walker volunteers for the fire dept. He finds Avery again and the little surprise he left behind.
Nicole Blanchard is another new to me author and this was another enjoyable story.

My Ruin by Jacob Chance - is up next in this anthology. Emmett & Juliet Thatcher Juliet is 10 years older than Emmett. I do my best to get with the times but I just can’t get used to older women, younger men romances. The story was well written and entertaining. And I have another author to read. 4 stars

Calm the Storm by Kelsey Clayton - Ash Harland Storm & Emery knew each other as kids. This is a friend to lovers, and enemies to lovers' romance. I loved this story and Kelsey is a new to me author.

Truth and Lies by J.D. Holly Field - I have read a book or 2 by this author. Forbidden love. 2 rich families. 2 kids as pawns for the families. They love each other but their families have different plans for them. Jake is 22 and Willa is 18. How can parents do what they did to their own children? I loved this book and I can’t stand their parents.

And One by Rebecca Jenshak - Rylee and John met in college and neither got the other’s last name. That meeting produced a baby. (doesn’t sound very sexy but I am sure it was) ;) Rylee had a baby from that meeting but didn’t have John's last name so he had no idea he was a father until Rylee and a girlfriend went to a party and John was there. Of course this story continues from there. This author is also another new to me author. I am looking forward to reading more books from her.

Hideaway by CoraLee June - My favorite story out of all of them!!!  I loved this story but then I like to mix my dark reads with being “Knocked Up”! Also, I love this author's books! This is Lydia Love and Nico Mariano’s story. Why, why, why Dax???? 5+ stars

A Piece of Us by Heidi McLaughlin - Charlotte’s and Jack’s story. Heidi McLaughlin is another author that I have read a few of her books and really enjoy how she writes. I felt so badly for Jack. He has a kind of sad story. Growing up in Foster Homes and never feeling like he has any family until he meets Charlotte.

My Favorite Mistake by Lauren Runow - Michelle and Travis story. Lauren Runow is another of my favorite authors. I loved this story. Of course this is another knocked up story so you know that Michelle gets pregnant and it is probably a one night stand. They all have a common theme.

Every Other Memory by Kaylee Ryan - a new to me author.

Between the Lines by Micaela Smeltzer - A new to me author. I enjoyed reading Travis and Alba’s story. Travis just left and gone for a while. Not telling anyone what he was doing, including Alba after they had sex. Which resulted in a pregnancy. He just shows back up and Alba is angry, go figure….. I really enjoyed reading this story and glad that Alba let Travis back into their lives.

Meant to Be by Jenika Snow - This is Jameson and Lia’s story. They were best friends and got drunk and they made a baby together. Jameson was going away for a year so he didn’t know. After 12 months away Jameson was back and there was a surprise waiting for him. It was meant to be…..

Snapshot by Marley Valentine - Another new to me author. Blake and Rosario’s story. Blake & Rosario are on a photoshoot. .

Doctor Daddy by Misty Walker - Another new to me author. MM story.

Miss B by K. Webster - Not a new to me author. I generally love K. Webster’s books but this taboo romance - is not one of my favorite genres because it is an older woman vs younger man romance. This was also a crossover from Doctor Daddy by Misty Walker’s story.

🍼REVIEW: I just want to know why TF guys like Zane Mullins didn’t exist when I was growing up!! The flirt-teasing, the chasing, the unrelenting, and the possessive-claiming. The kid who is stronger and more reliable than any man in Miss B’s life.

Kerry Bowden is a good girl. She does as she’s told and doesn’t rock the boat. She’s not like her twin brother Keith, who’s chosen to forge his own path in Brigs Ferry Bay. That’s until Zane wears her down in all the right ways. This 18-yo shattered all her resolve and brought her to heights she didn’t know existed. When a ‘blind date’ goes awry, Kerry call her savior and Zane swoops in for the rescue.

And right when I was all giddy for these two as a couple, plotting scheming people destroyed everything. After a forced separation I got the happily ever after I'd hoped for and a surprise baby too. THAT hospital scene had me in tears. It was so emotionally perfect.

I didn’t realize there was an origin story - Renner's Rules - until I’d finished this novella and went to look at the Taboo Treat collection!! Now the whole naughty principle makes more sense. Cause if we didn’t have that story already I’d seriously want more from Elma and Principal Renner. There were also two other taboo collection stories glimpsed - Coach Long and Dane. Looks like I’ve found my next stories.

And I can’t leave without talking about our glimpse into BFB!! We meet two blooming MF couples and I can’t wait for more of them down the road.

🍼REVIEW: Dr Lane Miller and Boaz Dixon are the cutest couple!! If you’ve caught up with the BFB series this story will be a jump back in time to around when we met Lance in Kian’s Focus. Also Callan’s still in high school.

We’re taken on a rollercoaster of emotional turmoil: divorce, death, hidden baby, single father, homophobic parents and ex-in-laws, court cases, and more!! Thankfully the instalove between these two and the tragic events all resolve themselves. I just wish this story had another chapter or two!! I’d have loved a longer ending.

Knocked Up is a collection of sixteen secret baby stories, offering a variety of tales around the same trope. As with any collection, I enjoyed some of these stories more than I enjoyed others.

Finding Prince Charming by Nikki Ash was a four-star rating. I’ll confess to being a wee bit tentative with this one at first, unsure what it was going to give. Once things started to move and the pieces started to come together, I could not get enough of it. I had so much fun watching everything come together, watching the characters and the story develop.

Quarterback Keeper by Lacey Black was a four-star rating. This one grabbed me right away and I quickly fell for the characters and the story. There were so many things that had me falling for this one, unable to get enough of the characters and their story. Although a few things were a little too cliched for me, it was not enough to remove my enjoyment.

Spark by Nicole Blanchard was a three-star rating. This was a sweet quick read, although I didn’t quite fall for it as much as I had hoped I would. There were certainly some enjoyable moments, I liked the sweetness between the characters, there was more handled than initially anticipated, but I never quite felt the real pull between the characters. It was the final detail that stopped me from loving the story.

My Ruin by Jacob Chance was a three-star rating. This was one that had me conflicted. There were points where I felt like this could have been a four-star read, but I never quite felt the connection between the characters I had hoped for. I think this is one of those cases where I would have enjoyed it more if it had been a full-length novel with more depth. Despite this, it still made for enjoyable quick reading.

Calm the Storm by Kelsey Clayton was a three-star rating. This was one that had me conflicted at first. It started in a manner than I’m not a big fan of, but the story grew on me. I came to enjoy the characters and was hooked on the way the story developed. It was one of those stories that gave more than I’d initially anticipated, allowing me to fall for small things that were introduced throughout.

Truth and Lies by J.D. Hollyfield was a three-star rating. This was one of those stories where I wasn’t quite the right reader for it. I felt like everything was taken to extremes with this one, with the declarations and events verging on being overly dramatic. I can certainly see how this kind of story appeals to other people, but it wasn’t quite for me. In truth, this aspect had some parts of the story feeling like a two-star rating. However, I liked the way it came together and was able to give a three-star rating even though it wasn’t quite for me.

And One by Rebecca Janshak was a three-star rating. This was a sweet story that hooked me with ease, filled with plenty of cute moments. The details toward the end were a bit too rushed for me, though, with everything coming together too easily. It made for great quick reading, but I feel it would have been an even better read if certain aspects had been expanded.

Hideaway by Coralee June was a two-star rating. This was one of those stories where it was me not the story, as I wasn’t quite the right reader for this. I enjoy dark stories, but I prefer them to be darker. This was just on the edge of darkness, and it wasn’t quite enough for me. I feel it is one I would have enjoyed more had it been a longer story with more details, but it wasn’t enough as a quick read as the depth I like was lacking.

A Piece of Us by Heidi McLaughlin was a three-star rating. This was a sweet story that I feel could have worked extremely well if it had been a bit longer, including more information from their past. Although I would have liked a bit more about the past, it was not enough to take away my enjoyment. It was sweet and addictive, and I could not get enough.

My Favorite Mistake by Lauren Runow was a three-star rating. This story wasn’t quite for me, but I enjoyed it more than I anticipated. It is a story that includes cheating, which is something I do not like, which made it hard for me to care about the story. Even though things were explained, I could not get over the cheating aspect. Despite this, it was a read that kept me hooked and for that I gave it a higher rating than anticipated considering the subject.

Every Other Memory by Kaylee Ryan was a three-star rating. This was a story that had me hooked, and I came close to giving it a four-star rating. I adored the characters and the story, and I could not get enough of the way things unfolded. There were a couple of things throughout that I’m not a fan of, and that’s why I rounded my rating down, but it was certainly an addictive read.

Between the Lines by Micela Smeltzer was a four-star rating. I’ll be honest and say I was a wee bit tentative about this one at first, unsure if I would be sucked in. Fortunately, it quickly grabbed me and I could not get enough. It was a fun read, one that had me unable to put it down. Although there were a few points when the characters felt a bit childish, it was not enough to take away my enjoyment.

Meant to Be by Jenika Snow was a one-star rating. I’ll be honest and say this rating reflects the fact that I always have trouble connecting to Jenika Snow’s stories. I know many people are fans, but there is something about the writing style that leaves me feeling icky. This feeling hit quickly with this one, and I found myself skimming as I wanted it over with quickly.

Snapshot by Marley Valentine was a four-star rating. This one hooked me right away and I fell deeply for it in no time. I adored the characters and the way things developed. I could not get enough of the chemistry between the characters, and it had me eagerly devouring each detail of their story. Although a bit simpler than some of the other stories in the collection, it was addictive.

Doctor Daddy by Misty Walker was a four-star rating. I’ll be honest and say this wasn’t quite a full four-star rating, but it was close enough for me to round my rating up. I think that is due to my excitement for this one, as I was eager to read the story of one of the leads in this one, as I enjoyed the little moments that we’ve seen of him during the Brigs Ferry Bay series. Although I would have loved a full-length story for him, this was a great quick read filled with sweetness that had me hooked and happy to devour it in a single sitting.

Miss B by K. Webster was a four-star rating. Although a bit too quick and easy for me – and not quite as taboo as I’d expected considering it’s a taboo treat – I could not get enough of this one. It hooked me with ease and had me devouring it in a single sitting to see how all the pieces came together. It was simple, but it was effective, and I could not get enough of it.

All in all Knocked Up is sure to have something for everyone interested in the trope.

This was such a fun anthology!! I read most of these authors, so i LOVED getting more from my absolute go-tos. There's something in this anthology for everyone: single dad, older woman/younger man, sports romance and even a rockstar romance!! The feels are just out of this world in every addition, and I just had a blast while reading. I highly recommend this!

My favorite was Kelsey Clayton's part of this (rockstars are so freaking swoony. And they're my kryptonite) and I just loved it so much! My only complaint is that I wish it was a bit longer! #readerstruggles😂

**I received an ARC of this book and these are my honest opinions!**

Knocked up: A Secret Baby Romance Collection by 16 different authors. I have to say I love an " Oops Baby" story so I was truly excited for this book. There were also different authors who I love to read so that was also a plus for me. I do have to say that reading this book from beginning to end, I was fried by the end and was glad it was over. I wish I would have read this book intermittently, a few stories here and there. After reading story after story I was on baby overload. Don't take this wrong. This was a very good book. I can say not a bad story in the bunch. Yes! Some of the stories were better than others. Yes! Some of the stories were really  good and I was left with that 5 star read feeling. The stories of the circumstances behind the conception of the babies were really entertaining. Some stories were quite emotional and others had such a twist that I did not expect. A wide range of stories that will have you smiling. Overall when I look back at the book and the stories overall and excluding my feelings of baby overload, I give this book 4.5 stars

A delightful mix of short surprise baby stories. Although the premiss is the same each book has its own unique spin on it. From best friends to lovers, brothers best friend to a royal there is a real mix of how these stories have been written. A great book to binge if you are a huge fan of surprise pregnancy or alternatively a great assortment for a palet cleanser in between books.

Overall a great anthology.

Who knew secret baby romance can come in so many shapes, sizes, textures and flavours? Knocked Up Anthology doesn't only have a star studded line up of authors. Every single story delivered swoon and feels with different levels of heat and angst that will just make you fall in love.

My favourite in the collection is Miss B by K. Webster. You can trust her to bring taboo temptations and uber hotness in a surprise baby and well she nailed it. Zane Mullins is the arrogant and gorgeous student who is off limits to Kerry Bowden, his guidance counsellor. But they have a connection that is undeniable. And Zane will come as her savior when her own family leaves her in hell and the cute baby is the bonus. It was emotional. It was dirty. It was sweetness with sizzling hot chemistry. It's also a Brigs Ferry Bay crossover and so had extra love from me.

Doctor Daddy by Misty Walker made swoon like crazy. It's a MM romance between Dr. Lance Miller and nurse Boaz. It's set in Brigs Ferry Bay where Lance has escaped after finally realizing his true sexual orientation and he was falling for Boaz. And then comes surprise girl from his divorced and deceased wife and his life is turned upside down. Boaz stands by him but his life isn't easy either. It was finally a partnership. And I cannot believe the amount of emotions and swoon the author delivered in few chapters. My heart was in romance heaven.

Kelsey Clayton's words made Calm The Storm one of my favourite in the anthology. This was a rockstar romance and best Friend's brother romance and wow, she packed so much intense emotions, soul shattering chemistry and interesting drama in few chapters. Harland had to leave for his band's tour the next day he had a sizzling night with Emery, his sister's best friend. When he came back for a break, the surprise was waiting for him. Harland was a complete package of sexy, swoony and intense. Emery was sweet and sassy. And their connection was irresistible.

Coralee June will write something that won't have dark twisted characters with sinful and unpredictable feels? Impossible. Hideaway was more of a dark mafia than a predictable sweet romance and I absolutely loved every second. A chance encounter between cocktail blogger Lydia Love and Satin Sheets' enigmatic owner Nico Mariano unleashed whole lot of explosive and complicated events. Stalker. Murder. Mafia. Dirty desires. Angst. Feels. Mindblowing writing!

I also liked Truth and Lies by JD Hollyfield that was about two childhood sweethearts, Jake and Willa who were separated by deceptions and conspiracies by their rich aristocratic families. Another of my favourite was And One by Rebecca Jenshak. It was a college sports romance and I loved how John bonded with their girl so cutely. Spark by Nicole Blanchard was set in a small town of Florida that gets hit by a severe hurricane and brings back Walker, the firefighter volunteer and Avery's baby Daddy from one night stand.

The thing about anthologies like this is that when they’re all the same trope, and you love the trope, you know you’re going to enjoy all of the stories! On top of that, you get to discover new authors who write that trope, or revisit the worlds of your favorite authors. I had so much fun reading this book! When I first read Rebecca Jenshak's story, it just made me so happy to be back in her Smart Jock’s world. Seeing the characters that I loved from that series as side characters, had me completely invested. All of these authors brought their own style to this trope and I really enjoyed seeing how they would write it. I definitely recommend this one to my fellow romance readers. Thank you to Indie Sage PR for the eARC in exchange for an honest review.

What a fantastic collection of secret baby stories as most of the authors were new to me I jumped at the chance to read while also supporting The Linus project where handmade blankets are given to children in need. This collection includes stories from Nikki Ash, Nicole Blanchard, Kaylee Ryan, Jenuka Snow, Marley Valentine, Lacey Black, K Webster, Jacob Chance, JD Hollyfield, Kelsey Clayton, Coralee June, Heidi McLaughlin, Micalea Smeltzer, Lauren Runow and Rebecca Jenshak.
My Review is for:
And One by Rebecca Jenshak:
This author is fairly new to me but every book I have read has left me wanting more so this was the first book I read in the collection. This is Rylee and John’s story. One passionate night in college changed Rylee’s life, she had no way of contacting John as they never exchanged last names or phone numbers. She would never regret that night because it resulted in a baby she adored but when fate finds a way of them reconnecting will John understand and will he run or will he stay.
This is a collection that every romance lover should one click, 16 wonderful stories by very talented authors helping to support a wonderful cause. I will re and reread everyone of this tales because they all contain love, passion and some laughs along the way. Please help support The Linus Project by one clicking this gem.

This was a fun collection of stories to read. I found several new authors while also enjoying several favorites. I loved that there was such a mixture of friends to lovers, one Night stands, separated and brought back together and so many hot moments. I will say I was definitely on baby overload which is never a bad thing and I liked some stories more than others but overall I just enjoyed this whole book!

This anthology was perfect! I love the secret baby/unexpected pregnancy trope so I loved the 16 stories. Most authors were new to me but I enjoyed every single story, each one had a different aspect but all of them were amazing.

This book has a little bit of everything for everybody! Even though the anthology is surprise baby trope, each novella is completely different. Surprise baby trope is my biggest weakness & favourite so I absolutely loved this anthology! Plus the last novella was just the perfect ending to the book I thought. I was waiting for that kind of read so in my opinion it was fitting that it was the last one! Hours of reading enjoyment with sexy scenes, amazing heroes, amazingly strong females & cute babies!

Snapshot by Marley Valentine - 4 Stars
Oh goodness. Two characters with instant chemistry and a lot of baggage. When Rosario and Blake meet at a photoshoot neither is prepared for the feelings they are overwhelmed with. Will it be too much? What happens when one of them runs? A great little short story!

Doctor Daddy by Misty Walker - 4 Stars
We are back in BFB baby! Dr. Lance suddenly realizes he has been living a life that is not his own and he needs to make some changes. When he is offered a position in BFB, he takes it as his fresh start. What will happen when he meets Boaz? Oh hello hotness! A wonderful addition to the BFB series!

Miss B by K Webster - 4 Stars
Nobody writes taboo like K Webster, and we are definitely in taboo territory here. This spinoff from the BFB series is steamy, suspenseful, and of course awesome! This age gap/taboo short story will have you quickly flipping through the pages to see what happens! Another great addition to the BFB family!

I found a lot of new authors in this anthology. And while I haven't read every single story, the ones I've read have been great!!! Secret or Surprise baby is a favorite trope of mine and this has been right up my alley!

There are such a wonderful group of authors both new and already known to me in this anthology where the center of the storyline remains the same the individual stories stand strongly on their own and capture our attention each and every time.

My Ruin by Jacob Chance: We have Emmett and Juliet, their age gap romance was sexy and also brought happy tears at times.

My Favorite Mistake by Lauren Runow: We’re aside these characters that begin with bitterness and then witness them transforming into foreverness. Travis and Michelle are one of my favorite couples.

Snapshot by Marley Valentine: What a creative way to have a photo shoot, I absolutely loved that idea and would of never though of something like that. Being able to share in the connection and emotions from both Blake and Rosario was beautiful.

Finding Prince Charming by Nikki Ash: Natalie and Liam’s story is filled with lust, passion, and romance beyond words. I found myself bouncing between smiles to happy tears throughout this story. The innocence of children is absolutely priceless.

Miss B by K Webster: I was pulled into this story where for a moment I forgot that the storyline was wrapped around being “knocked up” there were factors that had me holding my breath wondering what was going to happen next.

Quarterback Keeper by Lacey Black

4 ⭐️

When Ashtyn Harris goes to see her twin brother to tell him her good news. The last thing she expects is to see his best friend Football quarterback Tate Steele there alone. What is only suppose to be a quiet night of dinner turns into something more, that neither anticipated or expected, changing the course of their lives forever.

Fast forward over 9 months later Tate is thriving in his career, yet his love life not so much. Considering he can’t help but still think about Ashtyn and their night together. When a meet up with his best friend Alex (Ashtyn’s twin brother) leads to some surprising news about Ashtyn. He knows he has to see her and find out for himself.

This novella is my first read by the author Lacey Black and I have to say I enjoyed it. It was a cute, sweet, funny, hot and steamy short that involves a lot of mistakes and miscommunication on both sides. Unbeknownst to each other. Showing them in order for them to move forward, they will have to put forth time, effort, patient and trust. Something that is definitely not going to be easy, especially when there are feelings involved.
Overall, Ashtyn and Tate’s story was a fun quick read that I enjoyed, especially with the dual POVs. They were definitely a cute couple to follow along with, which made me wish their story had been longer.

Truth and Lies by J.D. HollyField

4 ⭐️

Best friends Willa and Jake Dupont being aristocrats have their whole lives planned out for them by their parents. Which include being betrothed to someone other than each other, despite their feelings for one another. The night before their lives are suppose to fully begin, Willa and Jake give into their feelings leading to a night of passion. Only to result in something more than 3 weeks later.

This was truly an emotional story with a lot of feelings. Given everything Willa goes through by herself. My heart definitely went out to her not only for what happened to her. But the fact that she still forged on (despite being alone) always putting her baby before herself, not caring how badly affected her life would be in the long run.
I also did feel a little bad for Jake too, since he was an innocent victim in some ways too.
I know it’s a novella, so the story is bound to be short. But even so I felt the ending was rushed a little too fast IMO, given in the last chapter alone the climax occurs leading straight to the end, as if it was all thrown together last minute. Had it been a little longer or a full novel, I would have definitely enjoyed it more.
However with that said, I still enjoyed reading Willa and Jake’s story and seeing them finally get their HEA. Having the family they deserved, filled with love and devotion.

Romance genre: Anthology: secret baby
Length: 1267 pages

Stories that I liked the most:

Finding Prince Charming by Nikki Ash - I liked this one a lot! Down on her luck prostitute Natalie finds herself moving up in the world as the madam at a fancy bordello. But one weekend with a client, Liam, (who is not a client because she chose to go with him as a date, willingly, no money exchanged) leads to unexpected consequences. He leaves earlier than expected (there was some serious miscommunication there) and she doesn't have his full first name or last name. So imagine her surprise when, years later, she is touring a castle in Europe and the King makes a surprise appearance and...it's Baby Daddy! This one was sweet - he liked her from the very beginning, as in "I'm could keep her" kind of liking, and he didn't care about her background except that he wanted to make sure to protect her from those who would look down on her. He fell in love with his daughter right away as well. Sweet ending, good resolution.

Quarterback Keeper by Lacey Black - cute, best friend's sister (twin sister at that). They share a night, then Ash finds out she is pregnant. Since he's a big football star when she tries to contact him, she gets his PR people instead and they scare her away. You're probably thinking, "But he's best friends with her brother. Why didn't she just ask her brother for his number?" Good question. Secrets are secrets, man.

Every Other Memory by Kaylee Ryan - Cadence finally lets loose one evening with a hot guy she meets in a bar. She doesn't get his name (Trevin), so just calls him "Hazel Eyes" in her head. They have a great evening together but she gets scared and leaves before he wakes up. Since they didn't share names, they have no way to find each other later. Their encounter after the baby is pure coincidence and very sweet.

Snapshot by Marley Valentine - Blake and Rio meet at a romantic photoshoot for strangers. They've both been burned before but they have an instant connection that leads to a night of passion. But Blake skips out when she gets overwhelmed by thoughts of the future, and then Rio has to leave on deployment. They finally meet again and have to reconnect and reform as a family.

There were a couple of stories that I skimmed through, and most were just okay, but the four above were good, and the one by Nikki Ash is my favorite - I would have read that on its own and will look for the books featuring the side characters.
