You know what? It's actually nothing like Romeo and Juliet.

A long time ago I was born in Los Angeles. That's where I spent many of my formative years. After I became an adult, I moved around for a bit before ending up in a small town in Oregon, very similar to Bailey's hometown. Greenhearth is fake, if you haven't already Googled that, but it's like many small towns with less than 1,000 people.

My pets...
I love animals, especially my two even if they do create havoc in my daily life. I have a cat, named Snowstorm, Storm for short. Then I have a rescue, Josephine. She's a Labradoodle - I think. It's hard to say but it's the best I can come up with.

What I'm working on...
I'm already working on the next book in the series - was working on it before Bad Attitude came back from editing. And now that it has released, need to stay on track with A Bit Aggressive.

Book Three of the Were Witch Series is certainly a step above the two previous books.

There's more characterisation.
The plot twists actually had me wanting to read on.
I only actually put the book down for natural breaks, as opposed to feeling bored, or just not enthralled by the story.

It was the last point that kept me reading on, as both the plotlines, and character development has improved so much, that I WANTED to keep on reading - and I'm very thankful for that, considering that there's 9 books in this series, and I'd hate to have to read a whole set of boring books! Lol

Fortunately, book 4 seems to have changed that although, admittedly, there still seemed to be end-to-end battles involved, but at least THESE had an actual purpose! Lol

There was even an excuse as to why Bailey's Father was never around!

But STILL no mention of her Mother, so I don't know why she's not in the picture - unless the reason was mentioned, but so briefly, that I didn't absorb it!

Anyhoo, I was very pleased that I could read this book without so many pauses, so I'm going to go straight on to Book Four: 'Were War', to see what's going to happen next, especially after the rather startling revelation at the end of book three (NO SPOILERS HERE)!

Once I've done so, I'll catch you on the flip side, to let you know if this series is going to stay like book three - that is, so much more interesting to read! Lol

Good Read

This story is much better than the last one. More information is given so the book is a great read. The characters are all so well written that, you feel !like you are there with them. One kickass heroin, family loyalty and friends of Bailey's that will make you smile. Lots of magic & loyalty, it will make you laugh and will want to take to the roads on a wild car chase. I do recommend this book. A series that is getting better with each book. You never know what is going to happen next.
I don't think you will be disappointed with this series

Interesting Developments

Good story! Things change a lot this time and some foes are thoroughly defeated...yay! Unfortunately, only some of them and much will escalate and explode out from the ashes for sure. The medium by which Bailey learned the rest of her magic was interesting and she and Roland are growing closer in a more organic way between battles. He is still a little flat to me and I wish the brothers were more involved. Still...a good read.

Big developments

Bailey develops, as a magic user (and potential shaman) and as a person. She also gets a bit of a swollen head, I think.

I was sure Marcus was more than he admitted. The truth is still a bit of a surprise.

She finally considers a real relationship with Roland. This is the slowest developing romance I can remember. Don't expect much in this book. At this rate, they won't have sex until book 9.

Intense

Bailey is being attacked from all angles, and she is constantly fighting for her and Roland’s survival. Other witches are not playing fair, and Bailey is really getting fed up with it all.

Bailey is growing as a person and with her magical prowess, and I’m enjoying the storyline. We are left with an interesting declaration at the end of the book, leading us into the next one.

My review of the previous book was wrong

In my review I the previous book in this series I mentioned that the obligatory nemises had appeared.
My bad! Turns out he was... Sorry, no spoiler here.
Move along, read the book and find out for yourself. This twist really caught me off guard.

Werewitch books 1-3

Thank you Renee Jagger, for a fast paced and brilliant story, magnificent characters and a good story setting. Could you include Bailey's brother's as they would be a fantastic fighting force. Thanks Gary

I liked/enjoyed it

I like the book I liked the characters and the story. It got a little redundant for me at one point but I still liked it. A little twist is seldom a bad thing, right?

Bailey's training

In this novel, Bailey is getting closer to becoming the name of the series. The training is interesting and there is a large number of magical battles. Overall, a fun take off magic, werewolf and witches.

Oh boy!

It just gets better each book. Fenris indeed! But I must have read it wrong earlier. I thought that Marcus was a bad guy because he killed another of his shamans? It's been known to happen.

Can't put these books down. They are very engaging. Love the interplay between the two leading characters, the story line and the rest of the "players" in the story. Each book is just as engaging as the last. I'm now reading the 3rd book in this wonderful series.

better

Honestly, I liked this book better than the rest of the series… no sudden endings but with more books to follow. This book shows the author is getting better at action description which is a huge step. Recommended.

Definitely different Werewolves!

A great twist on magic and werewolves and God's. Men in black and classic cars and all the rest! Crazy fun!

Enjoyable

Best sagas are a challenge to survive and require more than one expected. The binding of magic and supernatural is a interesting to the least.
