How do these stories get better and better when every time I read one I think it's the best of the best?!

This was a fantastic read all around. It was sexy and swoony with all kinds of #feels, filled with family and friends, love and support, and a storyline that fit the two leads perfectly.

I especially liked this story because Chelle Bliss made sure to represent all that is Arlo respectfully. This woman has lived her share of life and she is still young. Chelle doesn’t shy away from her circumstances but instead embraces them and makes sure the narrative of her story represents these circumstances respectfully. Nothing gets my reader heart revving faster than when this happens. There are no plot holes in this story or plot points thrown in from dramatics. It is real and it read realistically and Mello and Arlo at the top of my fave list now. I mean it seems to happen every time Chelle pens a new story, but I have a feeling about these two. They’re gonna me in my heart for a long time to come.

Just go do the thing and while you’re at it, if you haven’t read the Men of Inked, first generation or second generation or any of them out there in the world, DO IT NOW!

Compared to the rest of the series, I wasn't very impressed with this book.

The overuse of the word babe toward any and everyone, but especially toward Arlo when they didn't even know each was cringey. Also, the entire family, especially the cousins, were getting on my last nerve. They talked to Carmello like he was a piece of shit for his playboy ways when they weren't much better before settling down.

Then this book wasn't sexy at all. There's no sex until the last chapter. Reasons, sure, but even the scenes where there was other activities, there were only like 2 and all of these moments were glossed over. Hardly any real detail to keep me in the moment.

I did like Arlo's character and the way Carmello's family welcomed her, no questions asked. But overall, this story was lacking a lot for me. I was supposed to get an ARC for my blog and didn't. Now I'm glad I didn't.

SUMMARY

Carmello Caldo and Arlo King first met each other one New Year’s eve at a packed bar. While everyone celebrated the New Year, Arlo was unfortunately being cornered by a drunk man she had no interest in getting to know any better. Having been raised properly, Carmello came to her rescue when he saw her struggling to get away from the creep. But after having only spent a little while talking, Arlo runs out, leaving no way for Carmello to ever contact her. But months later, they meet each other once again. For the second time, Carmello comes to her rescue. And for the second time, Arlo leaves his life without any way for him to contact her. Another few months later, Carmello confides in his cousin that he’s tired of one night stands, and is ready to actually find someone worth settling down with, possibly even start a family. She enthusiastically offers to help him, and breaks the news to all their other, nosy-as-hell, cousins, who also offer their help. Because apparently, Carmello was far from ready to start dating for keeps, and needed to be ‘fixed’ first. To be of better help, they needed to know what exactly he ‘does wrong’ when it comes to dating, so to help them help him, they ask the one person Carmello never expected; Arlo.

REVIEW

First off, it was such a treat to read an entire book from the hero’s perspective. At first, I was a little confused and kept looking for the large, bold font at the beginning of every chapter, hoping to see Arlo’s name. But this was such a great experience, and I enjoyed it immensely. This is only the second book I’ve ever read in which the POV is a singular first person, from the hero.

The writing was fun to read, it flowed well, and I had no trouble following the story at all.
What I really loved, was the nosy-as-hell family they had to deal with on a daily basis. It was fun and silly, and really makes you want to BE part of their family. It’s a big family, all with big personalities, a big chunk of them without a filter, but they all clearly love each other. Honestly, I love them, too. But it MUST be exhausting to be part of the family.

Another thing I loved, was the entire group coming together to help ‘fix´ Carmello’s dating life. The entire thing was hilarious to read. Seriously, what in the ever loving heck. It’s all fun to read, but if my family tried to do that to me, I’d be insulted as all hell.

This was honestly a very interesting storyline. It was basically a fake dating trope, but instead of trying to fool everyone, they’re all in on it. It was a first for me, but I liked it.

The problem I had with this book, however, was the fact that the Arlo we first meet, is a completely different person from the Arlo we meet after the fix-Carmello-project. She used to be meek and timid, but when they meet again for the third time, she’s so, so bold and shamelessly flirtatious. I wanted to know more about what had happened to her during those months they somehow hadn’t run into each other, even though it’s supposed to be a small-town.
Not only that, but Arlo was so suspicious about everything and everyone, almost like she thought the entire world was out to get her. So I was so surprised that super sweet, but super suspicious-of-everything Arlo volunteered to be the guinea pig in this project of theirs.
But I have to say, her back story was really heart-breaking, but such a good choice the author went it. Really, for Arlo, it’s a found family trope. And I love it for her.

One thing that could’ve really made this book an easy 5 star, would be if they made this a slow-burn and friends-to-lovers relationship. It was mentioned a million times how neither one of them was ready to start a relationship, how this was more so a test for Carmello. Somewhat of a trial run relationship. It would’ve made sense if they ended up becoming close friends, actually helping each other with their ‘problems’, and then slowly falling in love with each other. But everything moved so quickly, so suddenly, so unexpectedly. At least in my opinion.

Besides that, I expected more to happen in this book. There wasn’t really a climax in this story, and that really bothered me. I was ready to sit on the edge of my seat, I was ready to pick a side, so ready to maybe even close the kindle app to take a breather. But I didn’t do any of that, because not much really happened. And that was honestly disappointing.
So really, if the entire fake-relationship/trial run relationship was turned into a slow-burn, friends-to-lovers one, focused on learning how to be in a healthy, committed relationship, it would’ve easily been a 4-5 stars for me.

This was still a great read for me. Quick and easy to follow, a family to be jealous of/want to be part of, and Carmello & Arlo who are so clearly head over heels in love with each other that it makes you jealous as all hell.

I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

Singe is a delightful, slow burn treat. I loved Carmello in Ember and I was so excited to see that his story was next. A tatted, alpha male is right up my alley and Chelle Bliss never disappoints with her stories.

I loved the timeline of the events of Mello and Arlo. They meet several times over a period of time until Mello decides that he’s done playing the field and asks his cousin Lily for help. Being a Gallo, she has a trick up her sleeve and brings Arlo back into Mello’s life. The two start off as friends helping each other out but the slow burn that they’re feeling ignites into a passion neither was expecting.

Mello is so amazing and swoon worthy. I love how sweet he is with Arlo. Having the rep of a player but underneath that is a sensitive guy who was lost after losing his girlfriend in a tragic accident, the same one as Rocco in Ember. Arlo was so relatable to me on a personal level. The quiet bookworm who’s independent but also wants love and relationship. These two are absolutely perfect together. And the rest of the Gallos? Had me laughing so much through the book. Their group chat thread was so hilarious and just like the one I have with my friends.

I’m looking forward to the audiobook version of this story for sure. And even more books from the Gallo family.

5 star Review Singe (Men of Inked: Heatwave #8) by Chelle Bliss

AUDIO REVIEW:

After reading the previous books in this series and knowing everything that Carmello (Mello) Caldo has been through I couldn’t wait to see what Chelle Bliss had in store for this broken, troubled man. I knew that the woman who would bring him back to life would need to be special and that is exactly what Arlo King is.

My heart broke for everything that had happened to Mello and the pain, guilt and sadness that surrounds him. I fell hard and fast for this swoon worthy, caring, protective and passionate man. It has taken him years, but he is finally ready to move on. Arlo is a woman haunted by her past and she has her own baggage to contend with.

Narrated by Samantha Brentmoor and Connor Crais they did a good job bringing this story to life. In my opinion Connor was a great choice for Mello. I found Samantha Brentmoor easy to listen to and she suited my image of Arlo.

Mello’s cousin Lily begs him to stop his playboy ways and wants to help him find love. Since Mello is sick of the life he has been leading, he accepts her help. He is surprised when Arlo re enters his life. When they first met there was an instant connection and sparks flew but since both are wary of relationships nothing developed at the time.

This time their friendship changes to a “fake” relationship which quickly morphs into a slow burn, passionate love. I loved Mello and Arlo, both separately and together and in my opinion Arlo was perfect for him.

There is humour, steam, tears, love and interference by the wonderful Gallo clan. This book is all about second chances, love and family. One click this little gem, you won’t be disappointed.

** 3 ½ Stars *

Singe by Chelle Bliss is the eighth book in the Men of Inked: Heatwave series. Carmello and Arlo's story can be read as a standalone.

Carmello Caldo was fine with his way of living life; one night at a time.
Now he's looking at thirty-one and seeing the bonds his cousin's and his twin all have with their significant others is making him reach for something more in life. He wants the white picket fence and the strong relationship. He wants the very same happily ever after he forbade himself having after a tragedy struck his life all those years ago.

Arlo King has been walking this world alone since she turned eighteen. She never saw the need to form personal connections because at a young age she learned quickly, everyone eventually leaves in the end. Now Arlo finds herself mesmerized by the very same man who rescued her two times in the past. And she's about to realize, walking away from him for a third time is not an option.

My Thoughts:

I'm fairly new to the wonderful world of Chelle Bliss. Thinking back to all my reading, this would be my second book read by her. I've come to find I love the passion she brings to her romances and after getting glimpses of all the relationships in the Men Of Inked world, I'm finding it hard to fight the need and want to binge this entire world. Holy hell, Chelle Bliss has a way of spicing up swoony as hell moments. I enjoyed the hell out of this novel, but there were moments that had me marking the rating down a tad bit....

Let's start with Carmello Caldo. This man is sex on a stick, and he knows it. I loved the fact that he suffers from a great deal of commitment phobia and I loved getting a glimpse into the reasoning behind why he's not about the settling down life. However, it could be the fact that this is the eighth book in the series, but I wanted an insight to that night when his life took a drastic turn. I wanted to feel the pain he felt and the agony over losing someone who was that close to him. Given the fact that this romance is listed under can be read as a standalone within the series I expected more from his point of view. I wanted those moments of indecision and the raging war going on within. I can chalk that tidbit up to a spoiled reader preference.

On a positive note, Carmello and his group of meddling cousins and aunts made for some hilarious family time moments. I'm a sucker for novels/series that have a sense of strong family bonds. Singe had me wanting to read all of the words in this entire series! I loved the family aspect so much!

Now let's get to Arlo King. This woman has been through the emotional wringer throughout her entire life. She was put up for adoption when she was born and everything in her life seemed to go downhill from there. She has a reason for why she tends to avoid relationships. I loved her character and her moments of stubborn pride. But for some unknown reason, I had trouble connecting with her character. And, yet again, we can chalk this up to spoiled reader preference, but I wanted her point of view. I think if I would have been given an insight into her backstory I would have, more than likely, enjoyed her story a little bit more. Bottom line, I needed to feel more emotion from her.

Overall, I enjoyed Singe by Chelle Bliss. The chemistry between Carmello and Arlo was through the roof spectacular. I couldn't get enough of their relationship and watching from the sidelines as Arlo started to form connections with those within Carmello's circle. My heart warmed the more they accepted her. All I wanted was a little more solo history from these two.

Maybe when I go back and read the series my rating will change.
We will see.

The Men of Inked series is back in Singed.- with the much anticipated story of Mello. And it is a slow burning swoony treat.

Mello is my kind of hero- a reformed bad boy with a broken soul that finds the best parts of himself when he finds his soulmate. And Arlo isn’t at all who you’d expect for someone like Mello- a woman with her own baggage but who is unlike him in so many ways. But both have their own baggage, and both are content to dwell in their own issues by avoiding authentic connection. But fate (and family) pulls them together again and again, and they find familiarity and connection that helps them heal their troubled souls.

Mello ends up being quite swoony- very sweet and loving. He’s got a compelling vulnerability to him, and such a tender heart. And I have a soft spot for quite bookworm heroines- so Arlo I adored immediately. She’s independent and sweet, but she has a quiet strength to her too. Total opposites, but together they work so well.

These two have a really sweet and tender story- one that starts in friendship that spawns their fake relationship situation that of course evolves into a passionate and restorative love. It’s a slower burn, but that adds to the intensity of their emotional connection. The extended family as always plays a pivotal role in this story- and adds some humor to the story as well. While I loved this family (and fans will be happy to check-in with favorites), there were times where I felt like the focus on the main couple got lost in the broader family dynamics.

In Singe we are once again visiting the Gallo family. We met Carmello in previous books and we finally get to see what he’s all about. Since the accident over 10 years ago, Mello has been living his best life. He’s been carefree when it comes to relationships or lack there of. His family is paired off and happily married but he’s feeling a bit lonely. His cousin Lily knows the perfect woman for I’m to spend time with. Arlo. The woman he’s rescued twice in the past year. This series has beem hit or miss for me. Singe falls in the middle of the spectrum. It seemed Rocco struggled with the accident more than Mello did. He easily wemt on with his life. Arlo and Mello had an easy friendship but I never felt a romantic connection between them. They fake dated waiting for someone else then after a few weeks decided to give it a go and get married. I’m a sucker for instant love but this fell a little flat.

The Men of Inked Series Keeps Getting Hotter
“Singe,” the latest book in Chelle Bliss’s Men of Inked series of steamy contemporary romance, is hotter than hot! I am a series junkie, and this particular one is near and dear to my heart as I have read every single one from the very beginning, and I have a soft spot for the Gallo family. There is so much to love about Carmello Gallo; he’s strong, cocky in a sexy AF way, handsome, protective, and innately kind and giving. He would literally drop everything to help a family member (or damsel in distress), and his very best friends are his loud and somewhat obnoxious cousins and his identical twin brother. He’s also a bada$$ tattoo artist, rides a motorcycle, and...well...swoon!!! I could easily go on for days. Arlo is a writer and former model - gorgeous, sweet, caring, fiercely independent, and a bit sassy - who is used to fending for herself, and she’s more than a little puzzled by the fact that Mello keeps coming to her rescue with no ulterior motive in sight. These two have amazing chemistry from the get-go, but the road to their HEA isn’t typical, which may have made me love the journey even more. There were so many heart-tugging aww moments along with the steamy bits, and Ms. Bliss packed so much humor into it - thanks to Mello’s crazy cousins - that I laughed aloud too many times to count. The hallmark of this series is the sense of family that Ms. Bliss masterfully weaves into it, and it’s so much fun to not only read about the third generation of Gallos, but to also get that “homecoming” vibe with Sunday dinners at Nonna’s or catching up with Mello’s parents - the incomparable James and Izzy. I swear that every single time I read a new title in the Gallo Family body of work, I’m certain it’s my new favorite, but I think that’s because Ms. Bliss continues to surprise us. A lot of extended family sagas feel like they’re regurgitating the same basic storyline over and over again in each generation, but that is absolutely NOT the case with this one. Ms. Bliss puts every bit of her passion and talent into the Gallo world and ends up gifting us with something incredibly special...each and every time. Thankfully, the Gallos grew into quite the clan, which means we have more books to look forward to. Take these five stars and multiply them by ten. Seriously, such an awesome way to perpetuate the Gallo legacy!

I was excited for Carmelo ( Mello) Caldo’s story, from the moment I meet him in the previous book I knew his journey was going to be a very special read and Chelle Bliss did not disappoint, Singe was everything I expected and so much more.
This troubled, broken man was going to need a very special woman in his life so could Arlo King be the one. This is a journey with a couple who both have their own baggage to deal with, he deals with his by being a playboy never staying for breakfast and she isn’t looking for love. Mello’s cousin Lily convinces Arlo to intervene, she wants her to show him that his playboy ways need to stop and surprisingly he accepts her help so will these two find the HEA they both deserve, will their troubled souls mend as they both realise love has so much to offer if you are with your soulmate.
This book touched me on so many levels, at times it broke my heart, at times it had me laughing out loud but more importantly it was a journey I wanted to be on. This is a slow burn romance as the friendship moves to a fake relationship and in turn moves to love, it’s a passionate, heartfelt journey that will appeal to a wide range of audiences and I highly recommend this wonderful read.

Spoilers Ahead!

This book was not it for me. I felt like it dragged on and nothing really happened. We got more with him and his family then we did with him and Arlo. His family I could have definitely don't without. He has so many family members one would ask him a question and then 2 more would come ask him the same question then 2 more and on and on it got to the point I would just skip over their interactions and "text group". It was mostly a book about him and his family and like 10% about him an Arlo. I felt no connection to their relationship. Over all it was a terrible book and was mostly well written aside from minor mistakes( which is why it's getting 3 stars) it just wasn't for me.

This was a beautiful feel good read about Carmello and Arlo. They both didn't have it easy growing up and were hesitant about finding real love. When they met, their was a definite connection and spark. It was great meeting the family again and seeing how all the cousins are doing. Love this family and how committed and involved they are with each other and bringing someone new into their folds. Seeing Carmello and Arlo's love develop thru a slow burn was perfect for them. Loved their story and can't wait to read more by Chelle Bliss.

Mello melted my heart

"I CRAVED FORGIVENESS.
Needed it more than the air I breathed. Spent eleven years trying to find it to."

It was with this beginning that Chelle Bliss commenced to bring on all the feels with her latest addition to her Men Of Inked: Heatwave series. SINGE is another fantastic read set in the amazing Gallo World, with the strong, loving, and meddling Gallo family, one I love and adore. SINGE is Carmello "Mello" Caldo's story, a man whose life was dramatically altered eleven years earlier, a man whose heart was broken, and man who is in desperate need of a woman's love.

She's cute as hell and quirky as shit, reminding me of half of the crazy women in my family."

I adored Mello and Arlo's story. I loved how they met on two separate occasions prior to Lily, Mello's cousin, setting them up together to help solve Mello's "problem". Mello has decided he needs to change his ways, he no longer wants to continue being the womanising playboy, he wants the love and happiness his cousins have all found. Arlo King was just adorable, she was sweet, caring, a woman who was the complete opposite of Mello. The way in which Chelle had the progression of their relationship move was perfect, getting to know one another as friends first and then realising that maybe there was something ... more.

Tell me you don't feel the same or tell me that this is only a friend helping a friend fix someone, and I'll leave you alone before you have the chance ... "
"To what?"
"Destroy me."

Arlo's past wasn't pretty, so could it be possible for herself or Mello to "fix" each other? I loved the way they were together, their conversations really pulled on the emotions. They both were noticeably confident on the outside, yet inside their confidence was low. Could Arlo and Mello put their pasts behind them and find the happiness they desired? I loved Mello's protectiveness over Arlo, the way he treated her, and how his heart fell for her. They were two souls finding their other half.

"That's me. Every man's fantasy."
"You really are, sugar. You don't know the preciousness of what you hold."

Once again Chelle has produced another wonderful Gallo story. Fun, laughter, hilarity, and some seriousness, all combine for a brilliant read. I can't go without mentioning those hilarious chat box messages between the cousins, nothing is sacred in this family that's for sure. Who needs enemies when you have family members like Mello has? I love how they all have each other's back, even through the merciless teasing.

Another superb Gallo read.

Another heartwarming and witty installment of the Men of Inked: Heatwave series, Singe hit all the right spots. The heartache that consumes Carmello Caldo could be felt a mile away. The ultimate playboy who now wants more than just the perpetual easy as he watches his cousins find their HEAs is as sexy as he is charming. I loved Mello and was dying to know who the lucky lady would be that might just finally tame the wild Gallo. Bliss gives us the seemingly skittish Arlo and from the first two unexpected meet-cutes so to speak between her and Mello, I could feel the pull that neither of them wanted to acknowledge. Knowing it was just a matter of time before fate and a bit of help from his nosy but very loving family would play a part in making sure these two found their way into one another's hearts, I happily sat back and watched it all unfold.

As with other books in this series, the constant that continues to literally make me laugh out loud is the group texts between this crazy crew. Mello really sets himself up for constant ribbing when he confesses his thoughts of finding a forever kind of love with his closest cousin, Lily. Wheels are immediately in motion and the way Arlo all of sudden appears and decides to help Mello with relationship issues literally made his head spin. But with a chemistry that cannot be denied, let's just say that Lily's little experiment is a huge success.

The entire Gallo clan, of course, is on hand to both encourage and embarrass Mello almost daily. But I was glad he followed his own bruised and closed-off heart and made the decision wrt Arlo on his own. Yes, they all provided comic relief that had me howling at times, but the continual example each couple show of their own love that is all-consuming and truly beautiful may have been the nudge it took for Mello to finally put his tragic past behind him and find a future he didn't even know he wanted.

I do wish, however, that we could have gotten a bit more in Arlo's POV. I would have been curious as to her musings about all things Gallo and maybe some of her thoughts when she was at her lowest. But once again, I simply had a wonderful time being back with this ever-expanding family and the way they take care of their own and 'adopt' those who steal yet another deserving heart.

4 stars!

ARLO AND Mello ... Carmello & Arlo are sweet & fun, even dealing with the deepness of their pasts. I loved this story!!!

Arlo King has had a rough life, which has caused her to have commitment issues of her own. She's a bookworm who worked for a period of time as a model, but at the moment, she's a writer and doing what she can to keep her life quiet and moving forward. When Lily approaches her about entering into a "fake" relationship with Mello so she can give Lily some intel to find the "right" woman for him, she agrees.

Mello and Arlo are such an interesting pairing! They definitely don't seem like they would fit on paper, but they are exactly what the other needs to balance them out. They don't trust easily, but for some reason, they feel safe with one another. It was wonderful to have a storyline where there wasn't a third party involved in the issues. It was more about working through their own stuff in order to make things work.

I'm a big fan of the entire Men of Inked series, from the OG's to the younger generations, and if for some reason you haven't picked up these books, you need to check them out. Chelle Bliss has created such an amazing group of people who all have their own interesting stories and paths to happily ever after!!

The ending 😭😭😭😭

Be still my swooning heart!

Carmello Caldo…the proverbial playboy has finally met his match. On two separate occasions now he has been Arlo King’s knight in shining armor. Now that he’s decided he’s ready to settle down, he’s enlisted the help of his cousin Lily. Unbeknownst to him, Lily and his other female cousins have all stayed in touch with Arlo and she is more than willing to help Carmello with his commitment issue. These two embark on what is supposed to be a fake relationship, but almost immediately it’s obvious there’s nothing fake about it. These two are just fabulous together. Arlo definitely brings out the softer side of Carmello and it’s a thing of pure swooniness.

Singe is book eight in this second generation of Gallos and absolutely wonderful. Chelle Bliss continues to bring us all the greatness that is the Gallo family and I’m here for it. I have never wanted to be a part of a fictional family so much in my life lol. I loved every page and can’t wait for more!

Oh Chelle how do you constantly hit it out of the ballpark? Whenever I start reading a men of ink book I feel the comfort of knowing every character and know I’m going to be highly entertained. The text feed alone will have me laughing out loud if anything! Carmello’s story was everything I wanted It to be and sooo worth the wait! Carmello is like so many of the Gallo men, and let’s be honest…like a few of the Gallo women they prefer one night stands and that’s about it. But at some point that’s not enough, seeing all his cousins settling down and even his twin brother, Carmello knows he needs more than what he is doing. Arlo is a feisty independent woman who has no family and many insecurities. When she doesn’t fall for him right away we know this is the challenge that he really needs. Oh boy was this the woman for him. The Gallo family knew what they were doing when they picked Arlo for Mello! The first motorcycle ride between them was hilarious! Then her emotional past and him being able to give her the emotional support she really needs. Then with every book we get the updates on the families and see how everyone is doing. I can’t love this series anymore then I already Do. After each book I get So excited for the next one!

After finishing Ember I couldn’t wait to get into Carmello’s story and as always Chelle Bliss did not disappoint. Mello and Arlo’s story is slow burn goodness. Their relationship begins as a fake one, but eventually develops into a beautiful love. Mello has a bit of broken soul. He has never forgotten a tragic accident that he has felt responsible for and it has affected his ability to attach to women in any kind of emotional way. Mello hides behind his sexy smoulder and charm but underneath there is a vulnerability to him that squeezed my heart. Arlo was a surprise. At first she isn’t someone I would have paired with Mello, as they are complete opposites but they just worked. Arlo is sweet, has a quieter personality and is independent. She has a slightly stubborn streak which Mello handled with ease as he has had enough experience with strong women in the Gallo family. There was a lot going on within the Gallo family in this book and I loved it.

I was excited to read Carmello’s story. I really wanted him to find his happiness after losing Carrie 10 years ago. I did like the connection he had with Arlo from the beginning. I knew he needed someone that was completely opposite of him and she was perfect.

I loved how Carmello slowly changed how he felt when it came to Arlo. She was able to gradually get under his skin and into his heart. Since she wasn’t an easy lay, they had to build their relationship on something other than sex which was a fantastic change.

I honestly didn’t like how Lily and Gigi and Tamara were with Carmello. They were constantly twisting what he was telling them when he was trying to discuss his feelings.

I still love the Gallo family so much and can’t wait to see what’s next.

This book, following Carmello and Arlo is so funny. I loved the interaction between Carmello and his extended family- the text chains alone made me snort in laughter and then just seeing how Carmello went from a player of epic proportions to so dedicated to Arlo was swoon worthy. As a reader gets more and more into each of the series written by Chelle Bliss, the characters truly do become like family because these characters are written to be so heartfelt, loyal and honorable to each other. I am so invested in the happiness of these characters and their family.

As for this book, Carmello is a player but he's realizing that it may be time to settle down. His cousin sets him up with Arlo, who Carmello has actually met a couple of times before, when he was playing the knight in shining armor. But this time, the timing is right and he just couldn't let her go. But can he be what she needs him to be?

The characters are absolutely sweet and while Carmello has a definite bad boy streak, his actions towards Arlo are so charming and engaging that you're rooting for him to man up. Arlo is innocent yet tough, not putting up with any bad behavior which is great (and what Mello needs!). Watching them fall in love and having his family provide often colorful and always hilarious commentary brought a lasting smile to my face.

I first read the ebook and then listened to the audiobook and the audiobook elevates the story. The narration by Connor Crais (now one of my favorites) and Samantha Brentmoor is so good! Perfectly cast, I love these two narrators’ voices for these characters. So good!

This story will leave you feeling Singed🔥

Carmello’s story is next and it’s wonderful❤️‍🩹 Mello meets a woman named Arlo one night when ne wants to be on his own. They go their separate ways and meet a few times along the road. One day Mello fesses to Lily he might be ready to settle down and Lily knows just who to set him up with😜

A great story and this Gallo family is AMAZING, they are so in your face and in everyone’s business it’s fantastic and super entertaining❣️Makes me want to join their family and see if I could get along with the second generation of Gallos😍

I received an advanced copy and voluntarily leave my honest review❤️

I was so excited to read Carmello‘s story after what happened in the past books but I was sadly let down alot during this book.
I enjoyed the love story between Carmello and Arlo alot and I think those two are perfect for eachother.
Chelle Bliss is known for her family oriented characters but Singe for me felt like a novella happening around all the other family memebers. There was very little focus on the main characters.
Their story felt like a quick thing and the added family stuff was to make the book a little bigger.

Carmello‘s story had so much potential and he is the sweetest character ever! I do love Chelle‘s writing though!

Mello and Arlo were much different than the other Gallo couples. Their story was a much slower burn. Arlo had always been alone and never had a family. Mello was overflowing with family. But together they found a love like no other. The only thing that I would have loved was more of Arlo’s perspective. The story is written from Mello’s POV and Arlo is such an amazing character I wanted more from her.

I thought Singe was a good read it did take me some time to connect to the story and the characters but over all it held my attention from start to finish . It had interesting characters they did frustrate me with how they handled certain situations I understand why but some of the stuff was unnecessary . I haven't read any books in the Men Inked Heatwave series but I will be reading mow in the future .
