Something Wicked This Way Comes And it Goes By The Name Julianne Bird.

Something wicked, is the second book in “Them Seymore Boys” series.

In this book Rudy and Kennedy’s relationship is secret no more, as Julianne, Macey and Joan, up the bullying anti.

The three, lead by their diabolical leader Julianne Bird, torment, blackmail, commit felonies, and manipulate authority figures and parents alike.

All because Julianne has a vendetta, …NO! And obsession, to bring down the kindly Jason Seymore, and his group of foster kids.
And Kennedy and Rudy have given her the perfect reason, because they fell in love.

All because she is convinced one of the older Seymore boys killed her friend Sabrina ( pdaughter her mother’s maid)

This second book takes Julianne’s plotting, and scheming to a WHOLE new level.

This girl and her gang of co-Horts will stop at nothing to get Kennedy back under their control.
Yes, back…
Because, you know. A girl being kidnapped, and held in the boot of a car for over 12 hours, because you decided her relationship with her new Seymore boyfriend was an affront to your family, and power play, will do that to ya,

And thats were this book starts with the aftermath of Kennedy’s kidnapping by Thomas (Thomas being the BF of the evil Julianne)
And
Being rescued by all the Seymore boys - Bradley, Chris, Gavin, and of course, Rudy.

Of course trying to tell the police, and any adult in the town of Starline, of her plight is proving to be a problem, with them all either related to/ or owing favours to, the infamous, Bird family.

Thus, this book becomes a lesson in frustration, as Kennedy and Rudy are out played at every turn by the scheming Julianne.

The back drop to all this is, of course, Kennedy’s tumultuous, very stressful relationship with her sporadically absent parents.

By the end of the book they’re are no longer on speaking terms with each other, with Kennedy finding herself cut off, and living with the Seymore’s so she can graduate.

However, all this takes a back seat as Rudy and Kennedy go looking for Eric, one of the older Seymore’s who has been unusually absent from the family games night.

Once they arrive at his home, they discover at secret that’s going to blow the lid off the Bird family’s perfectly cultivated lifestyle.

WOW! WOW! Wow!
This book has lived up to the angst, suspense, and romance of the first.

Kennedy and Rudy are the perfect couple, with real couple problems.
They have issues to resolve with each other, and the authors don’t sugar cost it, or pretend things get resolved with sex.

Each has issues…MAJOR issues that they…at times…just don’t know how to deal with, add to the mix the crazy Julianne just adds to their battle.
This is handled in a very realistic manner.

Julianne is EVIL personified.
God, I hate her so much , and poor Rudy and Kennedy can never seem to get ahead of the game and take her down no matter how they try.

But!
I LOVED it, and was here for every page turning minute.

Even better than the first, book 2 picked up where the first book left off after a traumatic event that could have been even worse. Having a serious impact. Who's to blame is quickly figured it out and sides are taken.

This book gives us both our FMC and our MC POVs equally. We really get to know a lot more about Rudy & his family. We get more of these characters together and to explore their relationship in a very realistic way for their age & for the circumstances they are in. Things also get very steamy this book.

Things are also takeb up a notch with the mean girls as well, and on a more serious level. Not to mention on the neglectful parent level. When it comes to enemies to lovers and/or bully romances I always like it when the love interest get to the place were they are together and on the same side and that's where this book find out characters.

There are some mysterys in the story as it goes on as well. This story has a lot of depth & layers to it from the situation that happened with one of the Seymore boys being falsely accused in the past. To the rumors currently happening in small town. And the impact that has. The relationship between our two main characters is a good one they are going through all this together and they are so different yet so similar especially when it comes to feeling alone in the world despite their families.

They are put in an unfortunate situation having to deal with a girl whos leading the charge against them. She is a very intresting charather with a lot of problems who is out to get them and her reasoning is explored throughout the book. She is well off and well connected in a small town. This story keep you reading from the relationship, to the family drama, to the mean girl who is more than she seems, to the mysteries, secrets & twists. I really enjoyed this unique story which I couldn't put down. There is a small very doable cliffy with a reveal that will have you excited for book 3

I read this an ARC and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

What can I say this book is 🤯🧨.

I devoured this book in a day. I pushed aside all my my housework to sit and read this book and get my fix of Kennedy, Rudy and the rest of the gang.

Kennedy may have been left thinking that Rudy betrayed her but the truth and what happens next is going to be explosive 🧨.

I have gained answers and left with more. The writing is phenomenal and I felt every frustrating, terrifying, angry and shut down emotion in this book. Kennedy serves so much more abs abs has that in Rudy. They balance each other out I just hope they can see that when they are not all fighting to survive.

Abs well let’s be honest we always knew them Seymore Brothers were so much more than we realised.

I seriously hope Julianne, Macy Thomas and the rest get what’s coming to them. Because I have some very interesting words and thoughts on them🤬.

5 ⭐️ recommended read.

This book was an absolute thriller! Rose is a writing genius! This is the second book of The Seymore Brothers series. I couldn't put my kindle down for a second reading this one. Kennedy Lane is being extremely bullied. She doesn't know if it's the delinquent Seymore brothers or her power-hungry high profile best friend and her minions. She almost loses her life in the process of finding out the truth. This book offers originality, high school bullying, hot and steaminess, unpredictability, mystery and suspense. This book ends on a cliffhanger. I can hardly wait for the next book in this series, Breathe Hate. This series is a must read!

Wow 😳 Wow 😳...Kennedy and Rudy... Enemies to Lovers

I am so shocked 😳 and surprised at how things developed in this the second 📚📖 book in the Seymore Brothers. There's so much drama, and crazy going on in this story. I sorta of understand the situation that the Seymore Brothers find their selves in because I was bullied on occasion in school, especially in Junior High school 🏫🎒 and say so I found myself empathizing with the brothers and even Kennedy. This is a good read and wouldn't you know there is one more book 📚📖 in this series. I can't wait to see what the next book 📚📖 will bring.

Kennedy and Rudy are still fighting to be together. Julianne is still manipulating everyone like puppets. Everything seems against them being together. Then they find a mystery that needs to be solved. Will the time ever be right for them and can they find answers ? Great characters and storyline Highly recommended. Amazing book I love the twists and turns. Can’t wait to read next book in series.

Ooohhhhhh

Cliff hanger galour. Love it the very highs and the extreme lows. Kenny and rudy finally get over the on off on off and go for it. She meets his family and it all goes up form there. I really don't like her dad in this book.

Deceiving appearances

A young girl falls out of favor with her bullying friends and connects with a foster boy and his family of discards. Lots of cruel pranks and unsolved mysteries make for unique story lines and memorable characters.
