Oh My
Having read the entire series I must say I enjoyed it thoroughly, couldn’t put put the darn books down. Well paced and a fantastic story WELL DONE!

Strangely compelling
Totally ridiculous but I found it impossible to quit. If you want to spend some of your lockdown days other than watching TV this should keep you busy.

Enjoyable read
These books are different to my normal read but I found them very enjoyable. Good characters, not a load of unnecessary sex either but enough involvement between characters to make it interesting. It would have been nice if at the start of the books there was a little view into Heaven, Hell, Purgatory and a description of Angel's and demons, just to give an insight into some of the upcoming characters. I did spend the whole set trying to work out how to pronounce the main characters title too!! It's written well enough to colour all the stories but leaving enough for the reader to imagine themselves. Worth reading.

A fantastic look at the balance between good and evil in Earthly folk!
How can one review be so hard to write? Because this Series is so well planned and written. Forbes becomes one of those authors that introduces so m any novel thoughts using well -known references from the Bible, fiction,and other sources, including myths and legends. Fantasy at its best, should really keep a reader thoroughly captivated, with an epic saga, that is one of the best price ever written. The Story never fails. From a quick start and never slows down through the whole Series, and manages to come to a well executed ending. Well Done!

I have read a few of M.R.Forbes books, mostly Sci fi, but Divine the complete series box set was a real eye opener. Think Constantine the film mixed with elements of Harry Dresden then put it on steroids… Forbes creates a fantastic world of Heaven, full of Angels that are so blessed they can’t see what they have. Hell, millions of demons looking to power up and rolling over anyone to do it. Then Purgatory, the world humanity’s balance between the two. A dead man, resurrected to balance and defend humanity from ‘too’ good and evil… Diuscrucis…. What’s not to love? Give it a go. And Mister Forbes, please write more like this. I loved it!

Best series in the last 5 years of reading this stuff magic sci-fi dragons and the likes... as the best story,, characters, theme and I seriously hope there is more to come. Excellent series
I'm usually not a fan of demons vs angels books, but this one was different. From the hard hitting intro to the satisfying end, the entire series was very enjoyable. The characters were memorable and well formed and the storyline held my attention throughout. Thanks to Michael for a wild ride.

Absorbing read throughout
A most enjoyable read, plenty of interesting characters with lots of twists along the way, would recommend to all fantasy enthusiasts to explore the adventures within these pages.Cleverly written using heaven, purgatory and hell and the need to maintain the balance as the main storyline throughout this series of books.

Wow! Truly an Epic Saga!

I stayed hungry for more all the way to the end. I can't wait to explore more novels/series by M.R. Forbe!

Good engaging feel good series
The battle between heaven and Hell on Earth, Heaven and Hell.
Landon, a small time thief turned security guard protector of the chalice and the ballance seeks out a peaceful life after his death and return from purgatory is the underdog with allies falling to help keep the Ballance to prevent the rapture.

Interesting
This is not a set down and read completely book, this is more a read a few chapters, get some work done then read a few more chapters book. I enjoyed it very much and there is a lot of action to keep track of with a final very satisfying conclusion that does not leave you with more questions than answers. Why don't you give this book a read?

Essential Reading for all divine theology
No hesitation in awarding full marks, for this series is exhaustive in how well it covers divine theology. With intriguing characters and captivating action and drama, you're hard-pressed to find any reason for not giving 5 stars. A must-read set and a storyline worthy of a blockbuster Hollywood franchise of films.

This series was completely engrossing. I was all in throughout the entire series. There is romance,adventure,spiritual and scientific musing.It is all in there. Bad guys,good guys,angels,demons and whatever else there is. The whole thing. Enjoy.

I absolutely loved reading every single word. The characters , the story, the twists and turns, everything about the books is brilliantly written, I would highly recommend it to you!!

M.R Forbes. Second to none.
Great book. Great ending by an accomplished writer. Good and decency prevailed. A perfect ending. Religious theme with sci-fi and hi technology machines mixed in. Brilliant.

Real page Turner.
This popped up on my recommendations and I thought I would give it a shot. I was hooked by the end of the first chapter.

Very dry. The author has written some interesting stuff but there is absolutely no connection with the characters so I just don't care what happens to anyone. DNF at 35%.

A new twist at every turn
