Whew! The Sheriff has some seriously scary enemies! And some amazing friends as well!
I've read several series by MR Forbes and this one is my favorite. What a great character.
Read them all. Read them in order. It's worth your time, because it's a jet-fueled roller coaster of a ride.

John Wayne Was the First Duke, Hayden is Even Better
Sheriff Hayden Duke continues on meting out his brand of honorable justice in the old west of a new world, fighting old foes and new ones. The Saga of The Sheriff continues in Book 3 of M.R. Forbes' post-apocalyptic sci-fi western. I do not like to provide spoilers or write a detailed synopsis, continues I can not say all I would like about the world that M.R. has created, but I can say he has done it well.
The story is fast-paced and filled with action, the dialog is realistic, and the characters are believable. The book is well-written and well-edited. I am looking forward to the next episode in the

Another home run hit!!!
What can I say that haven't already about this series. Awesome amazing fantastic cool great superb and all of the other adjectives. Forbes continues to write excellent stories for my favorite character. I cannot wait to read the next and what other adventures the Sheriff will go on

Captivating story
Once I started reading the first book I was hooked. The stories themselves were pure entertainment to read. As I progressed through the three books I became more captivated by a futuristic sheriff and all he stood for. I cannot wait for book 4.

Wonderful!
These books are great to kick back and enjoy a good thrill.
Hayden Duke reminds me of old John Wayne movies.If these were movies I would be buying popcorn and binge watching! Big question, when's the next story coming out?

Entertaining almost whimsical
Forbes has written another fast paced adventure that is entertaining and sometimes it's a little hard to follow all the action . Sheriff Duke is Hero among heroes . time to move on to as sheriff 3.
