Connect to the magic of the world around you for healing, empowerment and self-care
Nature is filled with hidden, elusive the growth spirals of sunflowers, the electromagnetic spectrum of rainbows, the bio-energy of trees and the sound waves of thunder. Working with the potent energy of nature's bounty, you will learn to nurture and embrace your inner guardian witch through spell work.
Brimming with rituals, wishes and enchantments to encourage spiritual growth, abundance and prosperity, and featuring beautiful illustrations from the author, this book is an illuminating guide to harnessing the earth's power for personal reflection. It reveals how magic can be used as a reciprocal force for good that protects and promotes our well-being, as well as that of our planet.
The Little Book of Earth Magic is for those who seek to form a meaningful connection with nature and take their spiritual practice to a new level.

Some interesting information at the start, and a few spells that could be rewarding to try.
However, as someone who's very new on the path, I found that this book didn't really give any kind of explanation as to why certain ingredients were used or what the relevance was for certain moon phases being suggested. Also, a lot of spells require some rare/expensive/difficult to obtain items such as Oud, Amber or Peridot.
I'll probably come back to this book in the future when I get more confident with spellcraft, but until then it was a little too vague for my needs.
Also, there is a very strong focus on Hellenic deities throughout the book so it isn't as eclectic as I'd personally like. I'm also not entirely sure whether the Native American elements to some of the spells are open practice, but I don't know enough to be sure.
I thought this book had loads of fascinating information about symbols, myth and nature, and I loved the illustrations and the message that magic is to be found within oneself too- I think the author is UK based, so they obviously worked with deities and the natural environment they are familiar with. Although there were quite a lot of prescriptive rituals and spells, as a beginner, this actually helped to get me off to a good start working with different ingredients (and there is a correspondence list at the back of the book so you can always substitute with others). I would recommend the book for beginners, and anyone who wants to connect to nature and feel at one with the planet earth.
Really happy to have more of this author's books in my collection and this one, earth magic, is becoming one of my favourites. This is a book you can dip in and out of at any time of year, and try out something already suggested or adapt to your own environment and practice. Great little illustrations, and I like the idea of how this kind of magic is about giving something out to protect and nurture the natural world, as well as ourselves.
Although I am currently reading this book, so far I don't like it that much. I feel like the author is pressuring you almost? She is giving the ideals that "If you don't do this every single day then you aren't a true witch.". This isn't how witchcraft works at all. I will continue to read it though.
Not entirely what I was expecting from the description, some useful and interesting element but overall a very brief read that is sometimes too prescriptive. Spells can be cast without precise equipment or timing, and I don’t think that comes across, making some aspects of witchcraft seem inaccessible.
3.5 ⭐️ I bought this book for a gift. I’m not that into earth magic but I do recommend this book for beginners. The introduction part of the book gave a clear explanation on earth in general. Including gods, herbs and crystals associated with nature. As for the spell recipes, there was a wide range of them. However most of them requirements (in my opinion) are quite rare or expensive to find.
I really loved this book as it was filled with lots of information about the magic of nature with spells and rituals to try out - just right for a beginner like myself. I think it's useful to have prescribed spells when starting, as it gave me lots of inspiration and ideas. The illustrations were a lovely addition too.
I love the wealth of information in this wonderful, Little Book of Earth Magic; it's absolutely brimming with advice about connecting with the magic of nature intertwined with beautiful illustrations - what a pleasure to read.
I read this book last year while I was learning about nature and magic, and I keep coming back to it, because it has so many interesting rituals and spells to do. I would certainly recommend it for anyone interested in witchy things and of course to help connect with nature .
Another from the author's five Little magic book series, this one is enriched with lovely b/w illustrations by the author, which give it a truly warm and personal touch even in b/w!. There are lots of spells and rituals to get you to feel closer to the natural world.
I got this after reading Crystal Magic in the same series, and it's a fabulous little book filled with the author's lovely illustrations. For anyone who wants to connect to the magic of the world around them, there are plenty of spells and rituals to try out whenever you feel like dipping in.
Really love this book in the author's magic series, as it helps me feel connected to nature. A lovely little book packed with fascinating stuff and great rituals.
I was intrigued to read this little book, and wasn't disappointed, as it's filled with great little rituals to get you feeling closer to nature and how to align oneself with the world around you.
A fabulous little book to reconnect to nature by working with natural magic, spells, rituals and aligning to the seasons and cycles. It's filled with lovely illustrations too.
