The next delectable treat from the Cake-ily Ever After bakery in Kinship Cove will have your mouth watering. This recipe for happily ever after includes one feisty baker with a short attention span and a dragon who’s been hunting her for decades. All of the fated yumminess, none of the guilt.

* * *

Try everything once. That was my rule in life, food, and dating. I never missed the opportunity to have a new adventure, play with the right flavor profiles, or spend an evening with the perfect guy. Who needed Mr. Right when there were a thousand Mr. Right Nows running around? So, when a handsome man with heat in his eyes and a little silver in his hair came waltzing into my bakery, I knew I was in trouble.

He’s annoying.

He’s rude.

He’s demanding.

And he just might be the perfect match for me.

Too bad he’s a dragon shifter, and dragons don’t do the whole fated mate thing. But maybe rules—mine and his—were meant to be broken.

Each Kinship Cove: Mates & Macarons title is a standalone romance and can be read independently of the rest of the series.

SO DARN CUTE!!!
Title: Sugar Dragon (A Kinship Cove Fun & Flirty Romance)
Series: Book 2 of Mates & Macarons Series (Released as Part of the Multi-Author Shifters In Love Fun & Flirty Romance Collection)
Designation: Standalone Novella(Approximately 100 pages), NO Cliffhanger #paranormal #romance #smalltown #shifters #humor
My Rating: Five Deliciously Sexy Sweet Stars*****

Oh my! I LOVED, LOVED, LOVED SUGAR DRAGON! And yes, I typed it in all caps because I'm screaming it from the rooftops. Mates and Macarons is, without a doubt, one of the cutest, sweetest, funniest, most adorable, feel-good paranormal romance series I've read this year, and that's quite a statement because I read a lot of books! lol... If you've read any of my reviews in the past, you're probably aware that I'm a diehard Ellis Leigh fan and have been since she began her writing career almost five years ago with Claiming His Fate, the first book in her action-packed, paranormal romance Feral Breed MC Series and for anyone interested, I believe it's available for free on most retail sites. Actually, Leigh is one of my top five all-time favorite paranormal, science fiction, suspense, and contemporary romance authors. And yes, you read that correctly - Leigh does write in all four genres and does it exceptionally well, proving her talent as a gifted storyteller and skilled wordsmith with every story she pens, which is why all of her books are an automatic one-click for me, without even reading the blurb. For anyone unfamiliar with Leigh's work, she writes captivating paranormal and science fiction romance as Ellis Leigh, riveting contemporary romantic suspense as Kristin Harte, and naughty contemporary/ new adult romance as one half of the London Hale writing duo. In the past, Leigh's writing in paranormal romance has been somewhat darker in tone, but I was thrilled to see her stretch her wings and soar into something more fun. Don't get me wrong, her other books do contain humor, but this new series is sweet, cute, lighthearted, fun, feel-good, and heartwarming without all the grit and danger, although there's still a generous sprinkling of angst, just not the 'OMG, I'm gonna die' element, unless you consider dying of embarrassment a real possibility. Yeah, been there and done that! lol... But as usual I digress when talking about authors and books I love, so let's discuss this story.

Sugar Dragon is a delightful, well-crafted, well-edited, fast-paced, easy to follow standalone novella with a beautifully written dual his and her first-person narrative. The storyline is upbeat with lots of cutesy, good-natured humor but does have its share of drama which, at times, is not only heartbreaking but also pretty darn hilarious. The dialogue is smart, snappy, and flows effortlessly. This story is very much a character-driven plot which brings me to my favorite component of every Leigh story - her always engaging and endearing cast of characters. I was instantly drawn into the story by the female protagonist, free-spirited, feisty, and very independent bakery co-owner Ginger Chance. Ginger, aka Sparky, was such a hoot and actually reminded me a lot of myself - 40 or 50 years ago! lol... And I was immediately smitten with the sexy, silver-fox male hero, tall, dark, and handsome dragon shifter Kingston. OMG, Leigh had me at silver fox! I am such a sucker for handsome older men but add in the fact that he's a dragon shifter just sealed the deal. After all, dragons are definitely at the top of the food chain, at least as far as I'm concerned. Kingston was a real smooth operator and all alpha male, so smug, suave, charming, and hot... quite literally! Oh, and he smelled and tasted liked cinnamon candy! Who doesn't love cinnamon, right? I know I do! And yes, I heard the soundtrack of Smooth Operator playing in my head while I was reading! There's nothing I love more than a sexy hero with a little grey around his temples, a few miles on his odometer, and a whole lot of experience under his belt. Kingston was the whole package. He may have had a little snow on the mountain, but he still had plenty of fire in his furnace! Hubba! Hubba! lol... The chemistry between Ginger and Kingston was beyond blazing hot. It's a fiery inferno and they complemented each other perfectly, even if he was a little older, which Ginger never let him forget. Her digs at his age were totally hilarious. But remember, he's a dragon shifter so his age is like probably like dog years, right? Just kidding! So, did I like this book? No, I LOVED it! Would I recommend it? You bet and I am but only for adult readers since it does contain naughty language and explicit(dreamy) sex. Sugar Dragon is the second of three planned releases in the Mates and Macarons Series with each book focusing on one of three human sisters who co-own the Cake-ily Ever After Bakery in Kinship Cove, a small close-knit town primarily populated with shifters. All the books are standalones with their own happy ending and could probably be read in any order. However, to avoid the possibility of spoilers, I highly recommend reading the books in order as they are published. Will I read this author again? You bet, just as soon as she releases her next book - which I'm ready for now! And finally, was I entertained? OMG, completely! Fabulous entertainment and an awesome read!

For Ginger Chance, life has become pretty boring. Sure, she has a great job and two sisters, Coco and Madelaine, who not only love her but are also co-owners of Cake-ily Every After Bakery. But she's a free spirit who needs her independence and lots and lots of variety in everything, including the men she dates. She's pretty much a hit it and quit it girl. No repeat performances for her - usually, and as a result, the small town dating pool of Kinship Cove has run dry. Yup, she's already dated every available male in Kinship Cove, human and shifter. Thankfully, she may be in luck this week. She and her sisters won the contract to cater the biggest wedding of the year in Kinship Cove. Unfortunately, it's Coco's wolf shifter ex-boyfriend getting married to his fated mate, Fiona, and it's their job to prepare all the desserts, including the wedding and groom's cake. Oh no! Don't tell Coco, but Fiona isn't bad at all. Actually, Fiona is really nice and has even invited her to the bachelorette party. Poor Coco, but that's the way the cupcake crumbles (couldn't resist that little pun), especially when you date shifters, because when they find their fated mates, the show's over for anyone else. Which is why it's always a bad idea to date a shifter, except it doesn't really matter in her case since she isn't looking to settle down any time soon. Nope, all she needs is a good time Charlie who's good in the sack. But back to the good part - shifter males from all over were descending on the town to attend the wedding, which means hot date prospects for her! And the panty-melting silver fox that just walked into the bakery, apparently has his sights set on her. Oh my! But as it turns out, Mr Tall, Dark, and Sexy is a dragon shifter and they're the only shifters who don't have fated mates. They're the eternal playboy heartbreakers of the shifter world. She's all about having fun with Mr Right Now until Mr Right comes along, but not at the risk of having her heart broken, and Kingston could definitely crush hers. He's the kind of guy any girl could really fall hard for, namely her, but she could never let him know that because dragons don't mate, right? It seems Ginger and Kingston both have their own rules for dating and mating. Too bad neither seem to know what they are. But Ginger has never been one to follow the rules - not even her own - and it seems, neither is Kingston. Oh my! Nothing is ever easy for any of the Chance sisters, including love - but having a little fun never hurt anyone, right? Maybe, but what happens when Ginger realizes that Mr Right Now could be her Mr Right? We'll see!

WOW!!!!! This book is magnificent it's like a horse race running neck to neck to win, only now it's book 1&2. Oh yes I loved this.. Ooooooo I want a Sugar Dragon! Definitely a Must Read!

🔥 Intro Cake-ily Every After Bakery. 🔥
The three Chance sisters Madaline, Ginger and Coco own a Bakery called Cake-ily Every After together. All three have gifts for a bakery. Madaline decorates everything she's an artist with fondant and buttercream, able to make cakes that looked as if they were spun from spider webs, carving faces or animals. Ginger mostly handles our cookies and cupcakes. Her talent is mainly focus on flavor combinations such as bacon-maple cupcake. Coco is classically trained pastry chef, so she sticks to the French Pastries and Tarts.

🔹️Ginger Chance has dated, among other things - every man in Kinship Cove. With this Big Wolf Shifter Wedding there will be a smorgasbord of fresh men, Ginger couldn't wait. Then this silver fox came in and word were beyond her comprehension he was absolutely gorgeous but she can't read him, why is that? If she can't read him then she couldn't trust him! BUT oh my goodness she wanted to kiss him.

🔹️Kingston is a Dragon Shifter who is centuries old. He has been drawn like a beaten to Kinship Cove but why? Today his dragon wants him to go to the bakery. There he found the women he's been looking for, for centuries.

Flying On Cloud Nine......

We're back at Cake-ily Ever After in Kinship Cove where Ginger, Coco's sister is swearing she'll never be where her sister is now.....All googoo eyed over a man.....She'll just stick to her guns of love em' and leave em' for one night that is, it's safer that way. Until the big hunk of a sex on a stick man walks into the bakery.... Oh but no way he is going to flirt his way into her life, or be snarky, that's right he doesn't, he literally sweeps her off her feet and into the skies! By the gods he's a dragon and they don't do mates right?

Kingston is a dragon shifter who knows not why he has always been drawn to the town of Kinship and now he is drawn to a sweets shop and he finally realizes the why of all his questions. Sweet cinnamon, he could gobble it all up. Instead he flies her away in the hopes that she will consent to be his, yes consent as is the dragons way.

This will be a full time job, maybe? This Silver Fox's mouth is so hot and dirty, he will have you sweating bullets!

This was a good story. Ginger and Kingston make a good couple and I liked their story overall. This is the first story I've read by this author and I liked it well enough that I may try more of her work in the future.

Ginger is a baker that co-owns a small bakery with her 2 sisters. Ginger is human in a mostly shifter town but doesn't have an issue with it. Ginger actually likes having all the interesting and hot men around as she has a roving eye (and body) and never seems to keep an interest in a man past one date.

Kingston is a dragon shifter that runs a shipping business. Kingston doesn't live in town but visits often as his dragon seems to sense something there that keeps him coming back. Dragon shifters are rare and most think they don't have "mates". They do but things are slanted in the female's favor and the dragon has to get permission for every step of the mating.

Kingston is in town for a visit when he discovers Ginger (and realizes she's his). There are sparks between them right away...both sparks of attraction (for both of them) and annoyance (on Ginger's part). The relationship between them starts somewhat advisarially but they get past that pretty quickly. There is a bit of drama when Ginger realizes that she wants more from Kingston than one night and thinks dragons don't do mates. Thankfully, although Kingston has certain limitations on how hard he can push things with Ginger, he isn't willing allow the drama/issues to split them up without a fight and they end things together and heading for a HEA.

This was an enjoyable story. I liked Ginger as a heroine, even if I was a bit worried at first by her inability to stay with any man long-term. Kingston was a good hero but the whole "permission" thing had both pros and cons (like the con of asking for permission in the middle of sex... really?). Overall, this was a good story with likable characters but I am glad I got this as a freebie. :)

Ginger Chance, one-third owner of the only bakery in Kinship Cove, is no stranger to men. She's perfected her game early and her approach if flawless and fool-proof. Leave them before they leave you, have fun, there are too many fish in the sea to settle just for one and never engage feelings or emotions...Until the day a silver fox (dragon, actually) with an attitude walks into her bakery.

Not as flirty, fun and sweet as its predecessor. Mostly because I didn't particularly like the heroine. She was too flighty for my taste and it didn't bode well for the romance albeit of the instantaneous, fated mate variety. I just didn't buy it and I felt sorry for Kingston, the noble, ancient beast who was all about consent (chapeau to that!) to be saddled with such a mate.

The most compelling aspect of this story was the promise of the next one, though. I'm looking forward for the quietest, sweetest, most innocent of the Chance sisters to get her man. It's bound to be interesting. Can't wait.

Fun read

This is a lighthearted and fun (ok smart a$$) read with its own HEA. Love the sense of humor that comes out through Ginger’s character (i.e. threats of castration, no she doesn’t follow through). Ginger believes in trying everything once, including males. Until a dragon sweeps her off her feet (literally, dragons can fly ya know!). You’ll find yourself smiling throughout the book (ok maybe a few snorts of laugher added in). Highly recommend for a fun read!

One of the trio managing Cake-ily Ever After bakery is a flirty (somewhat go around) Ginger. She doesn’t think insta-love mating is her thing. She wants to control her future and not have the fates decide for her. She’s a human in a village of shifters, and knows it’s better for her to just enjoy life.

Kingston arrives in Kinship Cove for business and keeps coming back, not quite sure why. But when he feels like entering the bakery is what he should be doing, he recognizes his fated mate. Only he’s a dragon-shifter, and they have a special way of fulfilling their mating.

Kingston is incredibly attracted to Ginger and believes her one night with him is all she will have, which is why it’s so confusing to her that he keeps showing up and she keeps wanting to be with him. But when she learns she’s his mate – well…. all bets are off.

I loved this one. It was clever, it was funny and quirky and very very sexy. It’s a perfect novella where each character is defined and wholesome. It also got a pretty awesome segue to the next installment, Honey Bear.

Ginger Chance owned Cake-ily Ever After, the only bakery in Kinship Cove. Aside from enjoying the work, it drew men like a magnet, so she had her pick of eligible dating material. Now the biggest wedding of the year for the shifter community was coming up, so there should be lots of new possibilities!

One morning a handsome stranger came in and said she smelled like cinnamon. Not surprising since she worked in a bakery! But when he nicknamed her “Sparky”, she wasn’t pleased. He hadn’t responded to her light flirting. And she didn’t like the nickname. But he still held her interest. When her worker, Misty, came back from break, she asked about the guy as she passed him. She told Ginger to be careful of him until she could figure out what kind of shifter he was.

Unable to stop thinking of the stranger, Ginger went to the bar that tourists visited where she could find someone new to get the man off her mind. But as she looked up, he was there with a woman hanging on his arm. Jealous, she headed for the bathroom but veered off to the patio, and he came out of the shadows. He told her he had been drawn to Kinship Cove for many years but didn’t know why . . . until now. They flirted back and forth, but Ginger knew she was playing with fire and pushed away from him to walk back into the bar. Unknown to her, dragon rules did not allow him to make advances of any kind until she invited him to do so.

Ginger’s sister didn’t come in for work the next day. She was heartbroken and her sisters had to drag her in. Ginger vowed that she would never let anyone get that close to her unless the guy was absolutely perfect for her in every way. Kingston will definitely have a major challenge here to entice his mate, especially since his is not allowed, by rules the dragons enforced, to make the first move. Is there chance at love over already?

This was a fun, enjoyable book. Ginger is the flirty sister who loves men. But this time, she may have met her match. The two play off of each other perfectly! The story line draws the reader in and is fast-moving enough to hold the interest. Grab your copy and see how things turn out for our bakery owner!

There is lots of amusement in the second Mates & Macarons book, where delight can be found in the fascinating scenes and entertaining conversations. The words spoken between a dragon shifter and human woman are frequently very humorous, while their reactions to the intense attraction between them are heatedly explosive. I could certainly feel the intensity between the couple from the author’s carefully worded descriptions, where emotions are brought to the surface and conveyed with honesty. The main characters in SUGAR DRAGON are especially likable, and the situations that crop up in their lives are repeatedly enchanting.

As one of the owners of a bakery with her two sisters, it gives Ginger Chance the opportunity to come up with a wide variety of tasty treats. It also lets her meet many different men, which keeps her adventurous side very happy. When a newcomer to Kinship Cove comes into the shop, Ginger is intrigued by the man’s looks and behavior. Though dragon shifters do not follow the same guidelines about mating as other species, she still does not think a relationship with Kingston would ever work out.

I thoroughly enjoyed the always engaging situations in this story, as every event that occurs is cleverly portrayed and often caused me to smile. Ellis Leigh certainly knows how to make the circumstances that her characters have to face seem convincing, regardless of the number of paranormal elements depicted. The dragon shifter traits in this story are unique, and I thought they made Kingston very original. Ginger is quite spirited, and I found her energetic nature made her charmingly appealing. A great addition to the series. Rating - 4.5 Stars

Sugar Dragon: A Kinship Cove Fun & Flirty Romance (Mates & Macarons #2) by Ellis Leigh
I purchased this book.
I loved the first book of this series and so when I had some extra money, I grabbed the rest of the novellas I the series. I love how each story is a standalone but reading them in order actually gives more enjoyment because each book seems to intersect with the story.
This book is about Ginger, the girl who will never settle down. She is also a one time and only one time kinda girl. She owns her sexuality and is open to getting what she wants…..sex with no commitments. When she is stunned stupid over an overly cocky and arrogant man version of herself, Kingston, Ginger is not happy over the feeling she is having.
I loved the struggle Kingston has in claiming his mate and abiding by his Dragon culture rules over claiming his mate. I also loved seeing Ginger freak out over falling head over heels for this shifter when she swore never to fall for the whole “MINE” mentality.
This is a short and sweet story and I cant wait to read more!!

Beautiful Encounter!!!

Ginger Chance met a gorgeous silver fox who walked into the bakery she owned with her two sisters, Coco ( CANDIED WOLF ) & Madeleine. The sexy stranger made her feel things she hadn't in a while.

Dragon shifter, Kingston has always been drawn to Kinship Cove for a decade. He never knew why he and his inner came to the town but he had a feeling it was very important and it was. They finally found their mate there, she was a real spitfire.

Meeting Ginger has been an eventful and exciting experience. She kept him on his toes and vice versa. She found herself in peril when someone wouldn't take too kindly of her walking away from him.

Her mate was there to make sure she was safe and gave that person a lesson he would never forget. Love the bond between the Chance sisters. Two have found their HEA, can't wait for Maddie to get hers.

SUGAR DRAGON is the second book in Ellis Leigh's KINSHIP COVE: MATES & MACAROONS series. It was engrossing, captivating and interesting. Marvelous job by Ellis Leigh. Two thumbs up!

This is Ginger's story the wild sister at the Cake-ily ever after bakery in Kinship cover. The other to sisters are the unlucky in love one (first book) but she has her wolf now and madeleine the shy one. The run and own the bakery.

Kingston is a dragon shifter. His dragon has been pulling him to kinship cove for awhile and he wasn't sure why until he walled into the bakery to the smell of cinnamon and the sight of Ginger. ........ mate.

OMG this was funny. I loved eveything page. The story pulled me in far and kept me. These characters and wonderful and crazy! The story is every bit as fantastic as the first on in the series so don't miss them both! I couldn't put it down and didn't want it to be over. I can't wait for madeleine story to come out!
I only wish there was more sister because I don't want this series to end!
Voluntarily reviewed a copy and I honestly loved it.

In book 2...It's time to learn about Ginger! This story was cute. I loved hearing about the sisters stories and their bakery!

Possible SPOILERS

Ginger grew up in a Shifter friendly town and she has almost dated all the available men in town until....
Ginger + her sisters own and operate Cake-ily Ever After bakery which is where Ginger meets a cinnamon loving man but she doesn't have time for that jerk who keeps calling her Sparky!
Kingston is a Dragon shifter and he has found his mate..however rules for dragon mating is slightly different from other shifters which makes them very rare because they all don't take mates.
After a night with Kingston, Ginger made the decision to not get tangled up in a fantasy because dragons aren't a forever type of shifter or is this one??

Cute and fun, except...

For some reason dragons seem to make books more fun. I'm pretty sure a lot of that is due to the whole flying thing. The unique rules set in place for dragon shifters claiming their mates adds a new dimension to the story too! I like that the female is different from so many. This one has a past, and she's not shy about it and likes the way her life is. He accepts that she has a varied past, proving that this is indeed fiction!! I really enjoyed the story as a light and quick read. Unfortunately, there's a word used here that IMO should never be used this way. Combining sexy talk while calling him Daddy? There should be an unspoken rule (no law, can't condone censorship) about this. Seriously! And those were the only parts I had problems with.

Dragon

She was a ,love em and leave and she's a ball buster too...lol. ,kind of girl not like either of her sisters. Hes been coming to town for yrs and didn't understand why he can to this town through the years. Then his dragon made him go to the bakery and who does he meet ...his mate. Sbe flirted with him and he gave her a hard time. He made her mad and he loved it, gotten his treat and left. She'd seen him at the club and it made her mad to see him with someone. Everything they seen each other all they did was sling digs . Dragons don't do the fated mates and its rare for them p,us the female had to give her consent to everything before it could happen. He even told a couple of shifters the shes his mate they laughed and said good luck. They fina..y talked and its all good

Ginger Chance believed you should try everything once, food, dating and this included different shifters.
One and done.

So as you will have learned Ginger is the open sister who says what she means and means what she says, this also means that she liked to flaunt it and when it isn't take the way she wants......off to a club on the other side of town she would go to find a tourist.

But what happens if said person is at that club?

Kingston had the overwhelming feeling to keep returning to Kinship Cove, he didn't know why until one day his Dragon pushed him to Cake-ily Ever After and Cinnamon became his everything.

But rumours can be very bad for a rare breed of shifter.

Voluntary 😁

Absolutely love Kingston and Ginger!

Kingston, a dragon shifter, just might be the one Mann/shifter that can tame Ginger. Ginger and her sisters are human and own the bakery in a shifter town.

Kingston has waited a LONG time to meet his mate, so being patient a little bit longer.....no problem, but Ginger definitely won’t make it easy.

This is an enjoyable, quick read, full of sass and humor that will have you turning pages and not putting the book down until you have read the last word.

I accepted an advanced copy and voluntarily provide my honest review and can’t wait for Madeleine’s story!

Ginger is the feisty sister, she has dated almost every guy in town, maybe not everyone, excluding the older ones, married ones, and the too young to even contemplate. So short sweet one time dates is her M.O. that suits her fine until the heat is turned up when a new man comes to town and he is determined that it won't be a hit it quit it, but her only. What a fun read, very fast paced, hot scenes and instant chemistry. The descriptions of the town and characters are what pull me in, I can envision everything which brings the book to life in my imagination. I voluntarily read a copy of this book and loved, loved, loved it.

3 & 1/2 stars rounded up.
This was a cheesy novella. Quick reading, light on the world building. Standalone, can be read independently from book 1 with no loss of info or world building. I read this before book 1 & didn't even realize that another book came first.
The main character, Ginger, was ok, nothing special. Kingston, the dragon shifter, is a cool character, almost too good for Ginger IMO. I liked that the dragon shifter background is different than other paranormal books describe them. Sometimes shaking things up a bit, makes a story more interesting. I don't know that I would read this again, but it was an enjoyable read.

This is such a Short and sweet read. I read the first of this series Candied Wolf. It’s Coco’s story who owns with her two sisters the Cake-ily Ever After bakery in Kinship Cove a shifter community. They are human and it’s their time to meet their mates. Backus is in town for his son’s wedding. He comes into the bakery and finds his mate in Coco. Little does she know he is her ex’s father. Sugar Dragon is Ginger’s story who is very independent and on her own not really looking for her man. Something has kept Kingston coming back to Kinship but he’s not sure why until he walks into the bakery and finds Ginger who is his mate. I love these fast paced reads.

As enjoyable as this was it just didn’t grab me for some reason. I didn’t get the mate vibe between Ginger and Kingston at all until nearly the end. Lots of talking and flirting but no connection for me. I hate when I can’t pin down why?
Loved that Kingston is a dragon shifter and more than a match for feisty Ginger.
Great to see the background stories with the other two sisters and their mates too.
Should have been titled Cinnamon Dragon as Kingston seemed mad about the spice.
This is my honest review of this book.

I loved this it had comedy, romance, and action with an over protective mate in it. I liked how it didn't have to much sex senses that takes over the way the book is written. I started reading and got hooked on how and if he was going to get his mate to agree with everything he needed her to agree with I couldn't put the book down. I will have to read the book of her other sister next and see how there mating went and can not wait til she writes about the other characters in the books.

A spoonful of Cinnamon

Lawd have mercy. Ginger has her hands full of dragon. And I’m most certainly jealous. I love their story and how their love fit just for Ginger. A dragon shifter was made for her personality.

This was a well written story full of snarky, claws, someone having their ass handed to them. Kingston is all kinds of hott and spice. I’d be happy at whatever he’d call me lol.

What in the world is with these sisters that have the shifters losing it? Must be something in the cake-ily.

Kingston and Ginger

Three human women own the only bakery in town. Ginger is one of those sisters, and the town is predominantly shifters. The first book is sister Coco and a wolf. This story of the Dragon who loves Ginger is especially interesting because she does not know how different dragons are from other Shifters in their mating ways. This truly is a Fun and Flirty series. Most enjoyable.

Ginger and Kingston

I loved this fun and flirty romance just as much as the last one. Ginger has always been a one and done, love em and leave em kind of girl, but when a seriously sexy silver fox of a dragon shifter sets his eyes on her all bets are off. Will she allow herself to see a future with this man or is he doomed to only watch over his mate from afar? She will definitely keep him on his toes. I highly recommend this book and can’t wait to read the next one.

Fantastic down-to-earth romance about a dragon shifter and a human

Ginger is a human and a baker / owner. She hasn't found the right man for her until she meets Kingston the dragon shifter. After much confusion she realizes that he is her mate.

The characters are down to earth, funny, and interesting. The mix-up about Dragon not having a mate was false.

Highly recommended for an enjoyable read

Ginger is a one night stand kind of girl. She meets Kingston, a dragon shifter. He frustrates her because he needs her to make the first move and she expects the man to make the first move.
Ginger doesn't think dragons have mates - like fated mates that other shifters have so she expects to be dumped next morning and she leaves first.
They get together and Kingston is protective.
I didn't like it as well as Candied Wolf.

What a ride! Kingston was such a strong alpha male and what a match he
was in for with Ginger. I loved how throughout they both pushed at each
other trying to get reactions. I really got a kick out of the fact that Ginger
knew she would forget to do things, and so did her sisters. While this is part
of the series, it can be read in any order. It parallels the first book timewise.
