Rosa was the screw up in her family. After a lifetime of misery and running from the grief of losing her mother and sister, she is fed up. It turns out she is close to a friend from high school he is reconnecting to, and they are being thrown together through a series of coincidences. Rosa is determined, feisty, and not willing to consider his offer of dating. He is a patient and persistent man, though, and no is not an answer, he is willing to take. Will these two, at such different places in life, find common ground? Can persistence win him the girl of his dreams, or will an old high school flame ruin everything before it gets started?

This is the fifth book in the A Second Chance Curvy Women & Older Man Military Biker each book can be read as a standalone with an older guy and the younger girl who take his heart allowing him a second chance. Sometimes being the baby of the family, you are allowed to be irresponsible because everyone does everything for you that would be Rosa everyone has always looked out for her not allowing her to take responsibility but when her mother and sister, she realizes her life isn’t as put together as she has made herself believe. So, she signs herself for college determined to complete college and forget about the other sex especially after finding her boyfriend cheating on her. Jagger sexy as all get out retired military now college professor that’s when he sees the girl of his dreams knowing she is the one for him and he will wait as long as it takes to make sure she finishes what she started out and to make sure she is the best she can be but above all be there for her. The attraction is instant, insanely intense and the magnetic pull between them will test both of their patience but is it enough considering she has sworn off men, will she finally finish college as she started out to do, will he be the rock she needs, will she give him the second chance at actually living, loving and can they find happiness together?.

This is another beautiful story from Ms Dallas this time it is about Jagger and Rosa. After Rosa has lost almost everyone in her life and she is known as the irresponsible sister and her oldest sister wants nothing to do with her. And now that she's on her own, she takes a step back and starts thinking about what she wants now and dating men is also on the back burner.

When she goes back to school and gets her diploma, she runs into Jagger. He is immediately attracted to her, but because Rosa has renounced dating, she doesn't know what to do with it. She cannot ignore Jagger because she meets him in many the same places, because they are in the same circle of friends. I thought it was a great book to read, also because the storyline was great and the characters are well described.

Ms Dallas manages to draw you back into every story and I also had trouble putting the book down and finished it in one go.

Jagger and Rosa's story will have you in their corners. Rosa was the irresponsible sister that couldn't be counted on for anything. Now that she is on her own with no guidance, she is taking a long look at her life and how she got to where she is. Taking it upon herself to put men on the back burner, she is back in school to get a degree to take control of her life which is where she meets Jagger. He takes one look at Rosa and is drawn to her. He finds himself in a lot of the same places with Rosa who happens to know his friends. Will this timing bring on a positive change for Rosa's life that includes Jagger, and will it lead to a happily ever after for them? This is the 5th book in the “A Second Chance Curvy Woman & Older Man Military Biker Romance Series”. Jagger is sexy alpha retired military man and is now a college professor. Rosa is determined to turn her life around so she signs up and attends college. She has put men out of life and wants to make something of herself. When Jagger sees Rosa there is an instant attracted between the two and Jagger knows that Rosa is the one for him. Jagger doesn’t want to stand in the way of Rosa getting a degree. These two have awesome chemistry and are great together.

I enjoyed reading about Rosa and Jagger finding love and HEA.

Rosa is the baby of the family, so her life has been fairly easy. But after the passing of her mom and sister, things are not as put together as she remembers. Needing a new start, Rosa start back to college and will not anyone or anything distract her from finishing.

Jagger is on staff at the college, he sees Rosa when she is looking for a building and is blown away. Later he finds out that he knows Rosa's sister's boy friend, Zane. Not wanting to be a reason for Rosa does not get her dream, Jagger waits for Rosa to reach her goal.

Rosa and Jagger have a sweet story that fits in well with the series.

Rosa has decide it is time for her to be alone after her last boyfriend turned out to be a bad choice. She gets accepted to a college that is not far from her sister, she is hoping to mend those fences. What she does not count on is Jagger.

Jagger had decided not to reenlist, goes back to his home town, a gets a teaching job at the college. Meeting Rosa has him thinking of the things he would want to do to her. When he asks her out she turns him down, not yet.

The more they see each other at social gatherings, her determination starts to waver. Can she hold until school is over?.

This is a sweet story, well-written, fast-paced and quick to read.
Rosa has finally realized that actions have consequences while crying alone in a hotel room, her sister and niece have moved and her boyfriend was cheating. Now she's determined to get her life in order, go to college and ignore the opposite sex, then she meets Jagger and he's determined to win her heart, he's sweet and caring and gives Rosa all the time she needs.

Rosa's life isn't going anywhere good and she'd had enough, so she decides to go back to college to get a degree and turn her life around. Jagger got out of the military and gets a teaching job at a college, thats when he meets Rosa and there is instalove and lots of sparks between them. This story is fast-paced, romantic, steamy and has a considerable amount of drama due to the personal issues of the characters. However, the storyline doesn't feel rushed and I liked it very much.

Rosa is trying to get her life on track, Jagger is ready to settle down. Their chemistry is there, but the timing is wrong. Will she give him a chance?

I loved how these two built a friendship before they dove into the relationship. I didn't blame her one bit for wanting to get her life on track, but loved how he proved they could still be together without derailing her plans. Loved this quick read.

I enjoyed the story very much. I loved how strong and determined Rosa was with getting her life back on track. Jagger was an inspiration for her and supported her threw school. Their relationship was honest and steamy once Rosa determined that Jagger was with her for the happy ever after. Loved the story.

Rosa has hit rock bottom and finally realized that she can change and start over. She obtains a scholarship and goes back to school and swears off dating and men until after graduation. While at school she meets Jagger. Will Jagger be able to change her mind about dating and mem? Great story with HEA.

The first week of school she meets Jagger, ex-military man and now teacher. The have an instant attraction but Rosa is determined to keep her eye on the prize.

Rosa and Jagger keep getting thrust together at every turn and the chemistry between them explodes. They're both trying to move forward with their lives and it seems fate has some ideas for them. The story is cute and moves somewhat quickly. I only struggled with some of the writing and descriptions and words used.

The story line caught my attention at the very beginning and kept me interested throughout the entire book.

Rosa and Jagger were great together. She was needing to get her life straight and was taking the steps to do that. Jagger was fresh out of the military and wanting to fulfill his life with positive things. They meet and have instant attraction and are willing to waiting for each other to accomplish their goals.

I like how Rosa matured from the previous book. I also liked how he was immediately invested in knowing her regardless of the affect it had on their friendship though he still held that dear to his heart. It was a sweet, steamy story with heart.

I loved the dual point of view, however I prefer the first person instead of third-sorry deal breaker.

I enjoyed Rosa and Jagger's story, they were both fighters, they completed and healed each other in a way that both of them needed. Their journey wasn't an easy one, fate brought them together, they were made for each other.
This was a great story.

This is the Raptors Motorcycle Club love story for Rosa and Jagger. Okay so Rosa lost a lot trying to hide from her pain and hurt with her mother and sister passing that it takes her hitting rock bottom to find her way out. But finding herself again helps her find a live worth fighting for and rekindling her sister bound with her last living one. I loved how hard Rosa tried to keep Jagger at arms length to find herself but that man is one yummy man and in giving in to him Rosa finds everything she ever wanted and more.
