This book follows the life of a Native American girl and all of the hardships she endures throughout her life. It is one of the best life stories I have ever read. It made me laugh. It made me cry. It has everything a great book needs. This is the second book I have read by this author, and I can’t wait to read more.
I felt like I was witnessing life through this young girl's eyes throughout the entire novel. The setting, scenes, and emotions were written to perfection. I have nothing but praise for this book and the author's ability to portray the story with such care and compassion.
