Tythel thought growing up under the wings of the last dragon, Karjon the Magnificent, would be the most unusual part of her life. It was only the beginning.

Finally, she’s come of age to begin her transformation into a half dragon. But just as the ritual completes, a steel ship bursts from the clouds, killing the dragon and tearing her world asunder.

The attack leaves Tythel alone and on the run from the alien invaders. The same ones that conquered her world and killed her parents sixteen years ago. The rightful heir to the throne and the last draconic being, Tythel must use every tool at her disposal to survive and teach the aliens a lesson forged in flame.

They should have let sleeping dragons lie.

Interesting story

I’m going through the catalogue of woven world stories that the author has done. I’ve read the Keldora series, and The new dinosaur dungeon series so I decided to read this one as well.

Very different - still fun. I look forward to reading the next book.

Becoming A Dragon Isn't Easy

For Tythel the process began in infancy; when a dying royal guardsman leaves her on the dragon Karjon's figurative doorstep. Then there is the growing up with her adoptive parent and the mystic adoption process where Karjon bathes her in his Heartfire breath. Immediately followed by her joining a rebellion against the alien invaders of her world.

Transforming into a dragon would be so much easier, if she weren't fighting a war at the same time.

This novel reads more like a traditional fantasy than most other LitRPG works do, but should still appeal to fans of that genre.

I noted there are some typos, missing text errors, and punctuation errors in the text, but I expect they will be corrected soon.

Just read this book and it is excellent. It could definitely benefit from the help of an editor, some parts lost me a little and there were definitely some errors here and there, but for being self published it's amazing and has a lot of potential. Hopefully there's a sequel because now I'm hooked.
