Jingle Bell Wolf by Terry Spear is the second book in the Wolff Brothers paranormal romance series. While a small part of the story is set in and around Daytona Beach Florida, the main story line is set in Silver Town, Colorado. Our protagonist is Gabrielle Lowell, a gray wolf shifter and veterinarian. She and her two jaguar shifter friends are to meet at a ski lodge for a week’s vacation. However, her friends get held up with a job and Gabrielle decides to swim in the lodge’s heated pool after it’s closed. Gray wolf shifter Landon Wolff is part owner of the lodge and intends to throw Gabrielle out of the pool. However, when he learns she is a wolf shifter, his plans change.

Gabrielle is a likeable female lead with a great sense of humor who doesn’t handle change well. Landon hopes he has found someone to share holidays and life with. The supporting characters are well-rounded and enhance the story. It was great to have several characters from book one or other series set in this town play minor or pivotal roles. It had some humor, some relationship building, and the romance did not heat up until the second half of the book with some steamy scenes. The descriptions were vivid without detracting from the flow of the story. It also had several themes running through it including the importance of family, friendship, community support, adventure, romance, and much more. After reading the first book in the series, I was expecting some suspense in this one to add some depth to the story, but it was missing.

Overall, the plot was contemporary, light-hearted, and heartwarming. The prose was well-written and engrossing. The story was entertaining, paced well, and fun to read. If you enjoy contemporary paranormal romance novels, then this author may be one you will enjoy as much as I do. I am looking forward to reading the next book in the series. Meanwhile, I am going to check out her Silver Town Wolf series.

SOURCEBOOKS Casablanca and Terry Spear provided a complimentary a digital ARC of this novel via NetGalley. This is my honest review. Opinions expressed in this review are completely my own and are not biased in any way. The expected publication date is October 26, 2021.

Gabrielle, a wolf shifter vet from Florida, is vacationing at a ski lodge in Colorado with her two friends who are jaguar shifters. The town is inhabited by wolf shifters and a friendly pack, unlike her home in Florida, where there were very few shifters and she was more of an outsider. Her friends are delayed, and she finds the company of one of the lodge's owners, Landon, VERY enjoyable. The friendly family and pack welcome Gabrielle, and convince her to relocate and take over the retiring veterinarian's practice. The friendships, the romance, and the festive holiday atmosphere make this a fun Christmastime reading choice for anyone who enjoys shifter romances--three and a half stars. Thanks to Edelweiss and the publisher for the ARC.

Honestly what can I say about this book… I would only recommend it to someone dying of boredom. One book down nineteen more to go. Maybe my next read will be “you had me at jaguar” by the same author:/

3.5 stars--JINGLE BELL WOLF is the second instalment in Terry Spear’s contemporary, adult WOLFF BROTHERS paranormal, romance series-a spin off from the author’s Silver Town Wolf series. This is lodge owner/ski instructor gray wolf shifter Landon Wolff, and veterinarian/ gray wolf shifter Gabrielle Lowe’s story line. JINGLE BELL WOLF can be read as a stand alone without any difficulty. Any important information from the previous story line is revealed where necessary. There is a slight cross-over with the author’s Heart of the Jaguar series, a series that has had no new instalments for several years. You do not have to have read either of the previously mentioned series to follow the current time line.

Told from third person perspectives JINGLE BELL WOLF follows veterinarian and gray wolf shifter Dr. Gabrielle Lowe as she embarks on a one-week Christmas vacation at a shifter wolf owned ski resort in Silver Town, Colorado, a vacation arranged by her friends and jaguar shifters Odette and Zelda Bellamy. Odette and Zelda are JAG special forces operatives, and are currently on assignment in Florida leaving our heroine to vacation on her own but Gabrielle is not alone for long when she trespasses after hours, and finds herself facing lodge co-owner and shifter Landon Wolf. Immediately attracted to one another, Landon spends the week with our heroine, a week wherein our couple find themselves falling in love, and Gabrielle if offered the position of lead veterinarian in Silver Town, Colorado.

Meanwhile, Odette and Zelda’s assignment continues to perplex the JAG special forces operatives until a familiar face is recognized in Silver Town, Colorado.

The relationship between Landon and Gabrielle is one of immediate attraction but Silver Town’s female population is greatly outnumbered by the shifter males, and in this, Gabrielle begins to attract the attention of all unmated shifter men. In an effort to woo our story line heroine, Landon spends most of his time with Gabrielle Lowe, swimming and skiing, time where he finds himself falling in love. The $ex scenes are limited but passionate.

There is a large ensemble cast of colorful secondary and supporting characters including Landon’s sibings: Blake and his mate Nicole, sisters Kayla and Roxie; shopkeeper Maxine Fox, tea shop owner Silva; Pack leaders Darien and Lelandi Silver; Gabrielle’s former fling Brando Redfern, as well as several characters previously introduced in the Silver Town Wolf series.

JINGLE BELL WOLF is a story of family and friendships, relationships and love. Like many of Terry’s previous story lines, much of the premise of JINGLE BELL WOLF reads like filler wherein the reader is privy to little UBIs, an infinitely detailed world building that has little to do with the overall story line. The premise is lively and enjoyable; the romance is captivating; the characters are energetic and interesting.

Gabrielle Lowe, Veterinarian, and grey wolf shifter dreads going skiing with her jaguar shifter girlfriends. When Gabrielle arrives at the ski resort in Silver Town, Colorado, she finds out her friends are delayed because of a criminal case they're working on. Landon Wolff, co-owner of the ski resort is immediately attracted and offers to teach her to ski. What follows is several days of skiing, getting to know each other, and Gaby having to offer her skills as a Vet a few times. What Gabrielle doesn't know is that her jaguar friends, and the Alpha couple of Silver Town are working together to find a pack for Gaby, and they hope she'll stay as the new Vet. Landon finds out, and is on board with getting Gabrielle to stay. She fights the attraction she has for Landon, and the fear of change. This was such an enjoyable read while Gabrielle realises that a woman needs love, and a wolf needs her pack.

This one was very cute. I liked how Gabrielle embraced her snow vacation even if she really dreaded it at the start. It didn't take long for the lodge, the people working there and the town to work it's magic on her, giving her a place to belong. It was to see all the time that Landon spent with Gabrielle, flirting her up and showing her the best of the town. I really liked how this one ended, loved seeing Gabrielle make a change in her life in so many ways.

Terry Spear's shapeshifter romances are always full of adventure and attraction. This time around Gabrielle works on overcoming her bad memories of a ski trip wtih her parents by heading to Colorado with a couple of friends. When her friends are held up by work, she has to force herself to try out the activities rather than sitting by the fire in the lodge all day. Landon owns the resort with his siblings and has no patience for rule breakers - until he finds Gabrielle taking an after hours swim in the lodge's pool. Suddenly the wolf from sunny Florida and the ski expert find themselves spending a lot of time together. Between late night swims, ski lessons, and rescuing an avalanche victim the pair grow closer by the day. Will they find a way to stay together when their careers are on opposite sides of the country?

Like the first Wolff Brothers story, this takes place in Silver Town, so the pack there shows up - Darien and Lelandi, Silva and Sam, Doc Mitchell, and the rest of the Wolff family. And since it is set at Christmas time, the traditional Silver Town competitions for the best snowmen, snow sculptures, gingerbread creations, and lighting displays are included. Gabrielle's friends are jaguar shifters on a JAG mission, one that will remind readers of Ashley Judd's "Double Jeopardy" role. And, of course, the Wolff's lovable St. Bernard - Rosco - is there for all the petting and belly rubs he can get.

Longtime fans of Spears and newcomers to the world of her shifter stories will all have an enjoyable read just in time for the holiday season.

It just wouldn’t be Christmas time for this Paranormal Romance/Shifter Romance lover without another installment in either the worlds of Silver Town Wolves or Heart of the Wolf series without a holiday story – and this time we get to go forward in the sub-series, Wolff Brothers, for another intense, funny, and romantic adventure this time with Landon and Gabrielle in Jingle Bell Wolf.

Gabriella, a wolf shifter from Florida, is vacationing at the local ski lodge – or she’s supposed to be with her friends but they’ve been delayed for a bit so she’s on her own. Deciding to take a swim in the heated pool after closing hours might not have been her wisest idea, but it was so tempting. Busted by one angry wolf, Gabriella gets an up-close and personal introduction to Landon, co-owner of the lodge. This trip just might have some advantages after all.

Landon’s been searching for his mate or at least keeping a keen eye out for her to show up in his life. He doesn’t expect the misbehaving guest swimming after hours in the pool to be more than a trouble-maker. But once discovering that Gabriella’s not only a wolf shifter, a guest, and a very interesting female Landon calms down enough to actually talk to the lovely lady. Since she’s on her own and has a bit of a fear of skiing, Landon will offer to teach her and show her around town. Gabriella has an intense dislike of change, she fights it at every opportunity so getting her to actually put on skis and giving this a shot is probably a bigger deal than Landon ever imagined.

With an intense attraction fueling their time together, some background shenanigans by her friends, and the chance to take over the veterinarian practice in Silver Town – well, Gabriella’s dislike of change just might need to be overcome. I had such fun with Jingle Bell Wolf. A likable couple, the chance to revisit a town I love, seeing familiar faces again from previous stories all combined to make this one an enjoyable trip back to a world I love.

If you love Paranormal Romance, especially Shifter Romance then you’ll want to check out Jingle Bell Wolf for yourself – and perhaps discover a fascinating new world (if you aren’t already addicted to Heart of the Wolf or Silver Town stories).

*I received an e-ARC of this novel from the publisher via NetGalley. That does not change what I think of this story. It is my choice to leave a review giving my personal opinion about this book.*

In my opinion, “Jingle Bell Wolf” by Terry Spear is not worth your time. Though a prolific writer, I have no intention of reading anything else from this author.

The fact that most of the characters are shapeshifters really is a moot point. They only transform a couple of times to play in the snow. You’re looking at about 4 out of 300 pages in which they shapeshift. There really is nothing much that would be missing from the story if they were human. You would just lose that they can smell each other out for what they are. It reads to me as the only point of them being werewolves is that they are not interested in mating with humans or other were-creatures. They want to keep races separate and the female a vaginal virgin until she mates with her forever wolf. I don’t know that the story would have been published if the racism was between human races. Remember, sci-fi has often used love and interaction between species as a stand in for human races.

The story follows a female werewolf who is a veterinarian in Florida and has gone to Colorado for a snow skiing vacation. The female were-jaguars who are supposed to go with her are delayed by work. She ends up falling for one of the werewolves who owns the ski resort and finds out the entire town and all the businesses are run by a werewolf pack. There is even a club for shapeshifters only, though humans can live, vacation and work in the town. Also, the local werewolf leaders are trying to get the veterinarian to move to town and take over the practice of their aging Dr.

The dialogue is often stilted, and the descriptions are lacking. This is my opinion as a person who reads a lot and have read what I feel to be much better.

Title: Jingle Bell Wolf
Author: Terry Spear

Series: Wolff Brothers #2

Summary: USA Today bestselling author Terry Spear brings you the wolf shifters you've been wishing of for Christmas in this action-packed paranormal holiday romance!

Suddenly, all the rules change... Maybe Landon will finally find the wolf he's always wanted to share the holidays with.

Review: I really enjoyed this book from the beginning. I'm not sure if it's because of how simple it was laid out or it's all around cuteness. I've been in a bit of a book slump but this book was just very easy to read. My only complaint is that things got over explained and repeated a bit too much for my liking. I understood it the first, second and third time it was stated. I didn't read the first book but you don't really need to, to understand this book.

This is book 2 in the Wolff Brothers series and it can absolutely be read as a stand alone but I recommend reading book 1 just because it is good as well and you meet this character in that book. Gabrielle is on vacation at a ski lodge in Silver Town, Colorado. She was supposed to be there with her 2 best friends, but they were stuck on a job. And since she was alone, she decides to go swimming in the lodge pool after it's closed. Landon isn't about to let a guest buck the rules, but when he goes to oust the rule breaker-he realizes that Gabrielle is a wolf shifter. And he hopes that she could be someone more to him.

I really like this series so far. Landon and his family make me laugh with their antics with each other. But they are just genuinely good people. Landon wants someone to share his life with, and he is hopeful that could be Gabrielle. The lengths he goes to in order to spend time with her and get to know her just made me love him. This town is always so welcoming to outsiders that are looking for their place. And I still love that about them. Gabrielle is a vet and she isn't afraid to help when needed. I loved that she was finally finding a place that she could truly belong. Overall, it was a sweeter read than the first one but honestly this story was right for these characters.

I love Heart of the Wolf books, and the Wolff brothers are super cool!

I have read all the books in this series. There are so many smaller series that make up the Heart of the Wolf series. This book is a sub-series of Silver Town, so we get to see many of those characters again! Gabrielle is swimming in the Lodge's pool after hours in a string bikini when owner Landon Wolff tries to catch her and get her out of it! Gabrielle's jaguar friends have not arrived yet and she has never been on a snowy vacation before. Fortunately, she meets Landon and he is willing to be her guide! All the secondary characters are as well developed as the primary ones!

The pace is fast and the tone is uncertain yet hopeful with a character oriented storyline that has some steamy scenes and a little action. The characters are vivid and engaging, all of them. In fact, I would love to see the jaguar sisters find their mates as well! Read these In order if you can, at least the Silver Town ones, If not the whole Heart of the Wolf series. If you don't, you will probably be like me and have to go back and read them all afterwards anyways! If you like shifter romances with superb characters, a bit of a mystery and lots of fun times too, then this is for you! Enjoy!

This book was a nice, holiday read, even for those of us who pop in and out of these sets of books. I'm one of those people, so I appreciate that these books can be read as standalone or as part of the larger world.

Gabrielle has some unresolved issues around snow, but she has been convinced by her gal pals that they should all go skiing as their yearly trip. She arrives first and ends up breaking some rules. Her addiction to swimming doesn't stop her from entering the pool after it's closed, sending Landon her way. He's part-owner of the lodge and usually swims after hours himself. From first glimpse, he is smitten. Being that they are both wolf shifters, and the town itself is shifter run, it's no surprise to them that they are able to easily chat. It evolves from there, with lots of smutty goodness and all that comes along with it. Oh, and lots of skiing!

This book made me wish for the holidays and a nice ski trip, complete with all the hot cocoa I could drink. As Gabrielle slowly starts to think about a more permanent trip here, her gal pals are working a possible murder case that keeps them away. There's a lot of scheming and plotting, but everything (including the murder mystery) works itself out for a nice HEA.

Jingle Bell Wolf is a pleasant holiday visit to Silver Town, a town of wolf shifters. When wolf shifter Gabrielle Lowe is talked into going on vacation to a ski lodge with her two jaguar friends, she is leery but agrees. When her friends are delayed, Gabrielle is left on her own until the sisters arrive. But when wolf shifter Landon Wolff, one of the lodge owners, catches her swimming when the pool is closed, he is pleased to realize she is also a shifter. Soon they are spending all their time together, including time with his family and friends.

I liked the Wolff family and how well they all got along. The ski lodge, the little town businesses and the Christmas decorations created the perfect holiday experience. There is a shortage of female wolf shifters in town, and it was so cute when Landon practically glued himself to Gabrielle’s side, which is fine with her. The pacing of the story is relaxed and everyone is so pleased to have Gabrielle in town, it’s a big change from her hometown in Florida, where she is the only wolf shifter. Overall, a fun, easy story.

Thank you NetGalley for providing an eARC of this book; this is my honest opinion.

Paranormal romance with wolf shifters is one of my favorite genres. In this book, which is second in the Wolff Brothers series, we meet Gabrielle Lowe who's vacationing in Silver Town at the ski lodge. She's on her own because her friends who happen to be jaguar shifters got tied up with a case. Gabrielle is breaking the rules and swimming in the lodge pool after hours. This leads to her meeting Landon Wolff who is a part owner of the lodge. The chemistry between them leads to getting together.

This book was well-written with wonderful characters and you'll love the chemistry between the main characters. I was drawn into the book from the beginning and kept hooked throughout. I didn't want to put it down. I love Terry Spear's books and think she's one of the best authors in the paranormal romance genre. I am always left eager for more after reading Terry's books. I highly recommend both book and series which is best read in order. You may even want to read the Silver Town series.

4.5/5 stars!

When the gray wolf shifter heroine arrives at the hero's ski resort for a girls' vacation, she came alone since her jaguar girlfriends were in a mission. The gray wolf shifter hero became captivated with the heroine and wants to get to know her more. As the two become closer, the heroine must choose: stay or leave?

This is a great addition to the world that Terry Spear created. I enjoyed the relationship that build up between the heroine and the hero. The secondary characters also made the whole book enjoyable to read, especially the strong familial bonds and female friendships. The holiday vibe of the story added another appeal to the story. Plus the animals were so adorable! As a personal preference, I would have liked some more details added in the story. Overall, a great holiday romance book by Terry Spear.

Wolves in snow and a mystery.
Landon is very charismatic and such a romantic! Gabrielle is sort of timid and a bit of a rule breaker. She loves being around so many wolves, enjoying the heck out of the lodge, learning to ski and be comfortable in the snow. The snow has some bad/sad memories for her. Landon is knocked off his socks by this beautiful wolf and a nice romance begins! Life is taking so many twists and turns for Gabrielle but darned if she isn't enjoying it! Her friends, who convinced her to go to Colorado, finally show up for the tail end of the vacay, only to find out a big secret! Gabrielle's friends bring their murder mystery with them and get the whole gang involved. Gabrielle goes back to Florida, Landon shows up, at a jaguar club a surprise visitor shows up n the sisters get to end a case! A great Christmas present for them and Landon and Gabrielle are off to Colorado. A very rambunctious family in Colorado all leading up to an awesome New Year! Love these books!!

Gabrielle a wolf shifter has decided to spend the holidays with her friends at a ski resort in Colorado, not her usual choice in vacations. Unfortunately her two best friends who happen to be jaguar shifters are running late and are not expected to show up for a few days. Gabrielle finds out quickly the resort she is staying in just happens to be shifter friendly and owned by a family of wolves. Landon one of the owners finds out someone is swimming after hours and intends on kicking them out of the pool until he finds out it happens to be a beautiful wolf shifter that he can't wait to meet.

This was a fun story, the setting and characters are easy to like and the resort and town are just perfect for a holiday story. I'm very glad I was able to read this story and review it. I would definitely give it a try because you won't be sorry.

Another good addition to Terry Spear's werewolf series. We get to see the second Wolff brother meet his match, Gabrielle, a veterinarian. Gabrielle is visiting Landon's lodge for what is supposed to be a girl's trip, but her friends are delayed and after breaking a lodge rule, she runs into Landon. By the time her friends arrive, she has been spending all her time with Landon and is falling in love with him and Silver Town. We get to see more of the Wolff sisters as well as Blake and Josie.

Why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5: I felt like everything was too "perfect" if that makes sense. Their relationship seemed all sunshine and roses. I like my book relationships to be a little more realistic, as most people don't just magically mesh together and agree on everything. Overall I still enjoyed the book.

This is a voluntary review of an advanced copy.

The Silver Town wolves are so much fun and I loved that we continue with the newcomers that bought the resort. This time, Landon meets a rule breaker she-wolf and falls hard! Gabrielle really isn't much of a rule breaker but her swimming after hours allows the two to meet and starts off a chain of events and the beginning of a beautiful mating.

There a bit of a mystery that is involved so Nicole is brought in and Landon's family is a large part of his life and the lodge. Good thing that Gabrielle fits in so well.

Lots of chuckles as there were matchmakers behind the scenes hoping that there would be sparks between Gabrielle and a handsome wolf.

Fun to read about Landon and Gabrielle but so much added to the story when we see previous characters from Silver Town in the story.

What could go wrong when a Florida wolf-shifter goes on vacation in the Colorado Mountains during the winter months and meets a wolf shifter and his family who run the luxury resort high in the Colorado mountains where her friends were supposed to meet up with her? Everything but at the same time everything turns out just right! This is a love story that sizzles! So much fun as the each try to come to terms with this budding relationship while she is still not sure why her friends did not show up! She has always loved the warm Florida weather and swimming and her Veterinary. Clinic and hates the cold and snow. She learns to love it all and the amazing man and his family! I enjoyed the banter and the way they deal with problems together! If you like a bit of supernatural romance I would highly reccomend this book!

I was given a free arc to read in exchange for an honest review.

This book is unusual in the shifter category in that it could be a fully human romance with zero impact on the main plot. The relationship development is so normal that it's practically wholesome. The entire town in which it takes place is shifter Mayberry. The main couple are responsible and practical and devoid of unnecessary drama.

This is a warm and fuzzy one night read except for one thing. There is so much food in this book that it's nearly impossible to read without snacking. Roast beef, balsamic mushrooms, red velvet waffles, peppermint hot chocolate, pizza, steak, cookies, and so. much. food. The author is either gifted in kitchen skills or knows all the best restaurants in every town. Probably both.

Jingle Bell Wolf is a beautiful atmospheric love story for Christmas time.
This book puts a lot of emphasis on the description of the Christmas decorations, atmosphere and local customs. Interestingly, that didn't bother me too much. Probably also, because you can indirectly put yourself in the Christmas mood better.

I do not recommend this book to anyone who likes love stories with a lot of action; as it builds up slowly but steadily. The plot is somewhat predictable, but that doesn't detract the reading pleasure.

By and large, it's a book about love, family, and togetherness. In short, all the things that we should appreciate - not just at Christmas.

JINGLE BELL WOLF by Terry Spear, Wolff Brothers Book 2, is delightful holiday romance between a lonely she-wolf and a hot, sexy wolf.

Landon Wolff caught an alluring woman sneaking into in the pool afterhours. Florida grey wolf veterinarian Gabrielle Lowe wasn’t too happy about spending her Christmas vacation in the cold and snow alone until Landon shows her a perfect winter wonderland of Silver Town.

JINGLE BELL WOLF is a howling, feel-good holiday fun with the family and friends in a wolf-controlled town.

Landon Wolff and his family own the ski lodge in Silver Town.
One evening, Landon sees a lovely woman sneaking into the pool after hours. He goes to chase her out and she disappears.
Gabrielle Lowe is visiting Silver Town from Daytona Beach, Florida with her girlfriends who haven't shown up yet.
Landon is happy to show her around town and help her learn how to ski. They hit it off and are having a great time!
Fun cast of characters and a great read for those who love the wolf shifter stories!

Thanks so much to NetGalley for the ARC!

So. A sad story here from me. DNF at 54%. I just couldn't get into this - a mixture of the writing not being for me, the use of lupus garous throwing me every time I read it because I'm so famliar with Lous-garous that I just couldn't deal with that, and not feeling anything for anyone involved. At all. The fact it's snowy and Christmassy and it's only September probably didn't help matters for me.
Shame.

I really wanted to love this book. I just couldn’t get into it and I wasn’t really the biggest fan of the writing style. Gabrielle was really sweet and worked as a veterinarian in her home town. Landon was part owner of a ski resort that Gabrielle was vacationing at. Landon was so in to her from the start and just wanted her to be happy and they seemed to click immediately. The relationship moved fairly quickly be the storyline seemed to drag.

What a wholesome holiday romance!
There isn’t too much drama happening in this shifter romance, but these two are so adorable you won’t care.
This has forced proximity, holiday romance and a cozy ski lodge. This is super short too so it can totally be read in one sitting (perhaps with some cocoa & a snack, seriously there is a lot of food in this!)
This is one holiday romance that will leave you feeling warm & fuzzy.
