In this story the same colorful, fun characters have returned, but now they’re playing peek-a-boo, a game kids never seem to tire of. Even my three year old nephew will happily hide behind the curtains, jump out with a “boo” and break into a grin with lots of giggles. You can’t help but feel the pure joy in the game.
In this sweet “lift the flap” book, the happy characters hide behind curtains, doors, under pillows and blankets and even beneath a bed. You’ll find them in familiar rooms full of vibrant, happy colors and familiar objects. This book will bring the same joy to your toddlers. It’s one to read when they’re very young and it will still be requested years later.

Babies and toddlers love lift-the-flap books and love playing peekaboo. This fun board book combines both into a silly read-aloud with your child. Friends in the book are hiding and your child gets to find them by lifting the flap on each page.
They will find a narwhal under a table, an elephant playing the trumpet behind a chair, and a giraffe behind a curtain, plus several more hiding friends. Each time you find a friend, you and your child can say, “Peekaboo!”, just like you would if you were playing peekaboo together.
Alliteration is used which helps with language learning and there is plenty to point out on the pages. From the toys in the living room to the musical instruments page to the sports decor in the bedroom, there are lots of items to have your child find on each page. Plus hide-and-seek is so much fun, the friends encourage you to play again soon!
