A lot can change in the world of motorsport in such a short amount of time. It was intriguing listening to the accounts of one of the most prominent eras of motorsport and how much it has changed in 2024. This really would only interest those who are heavily interested in the world of F1. I’m not sure how gripping it would be for someone who is not.

Interesting behind the scenes of the workings of F1 pit lanes and racing teams from the point of view of a mechanic around the time Michael Schuhmacher was at Benetton. Also enjoyed the narration style of the author, who speaks himself.

Interesting and generally well written. With a good editor it might be a 4 star book, but 3.5 stars as it stands.
