He's my Gay Best Friend... so why do his lips keep landing on mine? Does he know my secret?
ROSALIA Half my life was a marriage of convenience to a man who loved his high heels more than he loved me, and being a transgender woman doesn't make it easy to jump back into the dating pool. But when I invest in a little house on Stud Street and find myself living next door to the sexiest YouTube homemaking sensation in the world, the sparks fly, and we're off! At least until his boyfriend walks in...
This new neighbor seems to like me just fine, though (wink, wink), which just makes me worry--does he not see me as the woman I truly am inside? Or is it possible that his "interests" may be a bit straighter than they seem?
WREN I have two Super Bowl rings in my pocket, but I've waited my whole life for the chance at my own cooking show, and the time has arrived! Only problem? The producer is a little confused over my sexuality. Setting him straight (pun intended) is the only ethical thing to do... but I'm desperate to make this dream come true. Thanks to my very out and proud roommate, I'm having no problem playing the part... at least until the perfect woman moves in next door.
If you think being friend-zoned is bad, just trying being stuck as the not-so-Gay Best Friend.
WRECKED is the second in a trio of LGBT standalone romantic comedies by Skylar Sweeney. If you like laugh out loud mistaken identity romances with plenty of sizzles on the side, you’ll love this tale of two neighbors coming together in the craziest (and sexiest) of ways!

A Note From the Author: This book, though an m/f romance, has a strong focus on the LGBT community and the difficulties of being transgender in a primarily cisgender world.
Skylar Sweeney is an author of M/M romance of all varieties (with a couple of transgender M/F and gender fluid ones thrown in!). He specializes in darkly sweet stories with quirky characters placed in usual situations.
This is a well written book with strong characters in Wren and Rosalia. The author does a great job delivering an entertaining story filled with tons of humor and a steamy chemistry. Her scenes are painted perfectly and the story moves quickly with the fun story line and dialogue. I loved watching them trying to pretend their feelings for one another didn't exist and seeing them come together in the end. I enjoyed and would recommend this book.

3.5* I laughed a lot reading this story. Some of the things were so senseless that they made me laugh even harder. This book, however, is not for everyone so I hope my review helps people decide whether to not invest their time in it, read it knowing what they will find or reading it knowing something specific upsets them and then leave a negative review which can be avoided if you already know that something you highly dislike, will be there.
THINGS YOU MIGHT ENJOY: - The story is told from both leads' POVs, alternating to get their reaction to certain situations. - 'Listening' to their thoughts will have you crying if you are the type of person that enjoys reading about silly people. - The book is long enough to keep you entertained if you find yourself liking the story. - There is no cliffhanger and all the major issues are resolved. - The characters are very likable and hilarious. The leads as a couple make so much sense.
THINGS YOU MIGHT NOT ENJOY: - The story is told from both leads' POVs, alternating to get their reaction to certain situations. - If there is a stereotype in this world that you don't know yet, you will learn it in this book. Not because they are explained but because they are part of the description of what's happening, where is happening, or how certain people look like or are wearing. - There were some barely noticeable grammatical errors and others that were too obvious not to notice. That never change my perspective on books but I know some people do. - Sometimes the character does or says something that doesn't align with the way their personality has been presented through the story. - The characters are sometimes childish which again, I don't mind—my characters always are lol— but I had read plenty of negative reviews on different books about characters being childish.
Hope my review helps me help the reader help the author. A few beta readers could go through and point out the little grammatical errors that we sometimes don't even know are there, after reading it three times ourselves.

Wrecked is the second book in the Stud Street series, and can be read as a standalone.
I'm really enjoying these books, the characters are likeable and the stories are full of slapstick humour, witty innuendos and sizzling chemistry. If you're after a quirky little romance with a twist, then you'll love this case of mistaken identity with all the fun and games along the way.
Wren and Rosalia had a sizzling connection straight away, it was hilarious seeing them try to pretend and resist each other, talk about sparks flying. I loved Wren, he's witty, charming and great in the kitchen and the bedroom. ;) Rosalia is sweet, caring and funny. I loved her dirty mouth when it came to giving Wren a run for his money.
I'm really hoping Allin gets his story because I really like him.
This is book 2 in Sweeney's Stud Street series. Idk how I missed book 1 but this book was absolutely fantastic. A perfectly balanced read with romance, steamy chemistry and lots of laugh out loud moments. Fun characters Wren the Wreaker and Rosalie the Stunner come together in such a unique way. Fun story line that flowed perfectly, I couldn't wait to see what trouble these two would find next, and I can't wait for the next book and more from Sweeney!

Wrecked is the second book in The Stud Street Homeowners Association series. I found this story to be humorous. It had me laughing from Rosalia’s antics. Wren and Rosalia are well written characters and they are a great couple. As they get through all the misunderstandings they get to their HEA. I would recommend this book to anyone that likes a pleasant, laugh out loud book to read. It is an extremely entertaining book. I plan to read more in this series and other books from this author in the future. I voluntarily reviewed this book after receiving an arc copy for an honest review.
This story is pretty entertaining—basically slapstick in places. From the way Rosalia’s husband dies to the slideshow at the end of the book, lots of humorous moments. Wren is a butthead a lot and Rosalia is not forthcoming with her truths either, making things complicated. Very enjoyable read.
This was the first book I read from this author and I loved it, I was laughing right from the first chapter with Rosalia's shenanigans and her reaction to her dead kinky husband. Wren was just perfect for her. The two of them together gave a new meaning to hot chemistry. The misunderstandings and her clumsiness plus his plan to pretend to be gay made me laugh. The story is very well written and made me stay awake reading it until the wee hours of the morning, I couldn't put it down. I am definitely going to read more books from this author.
