Rate this book
In the early days of World War II, the Lang family lost everything. Eighty years later, it’s time to take it back.

The Nazis have taken control of Austria, and wealthy widower Leopold Lang faces a difficult decision: join the ranks of the foreign power that has taken over his homeland or flee with his children to safety. Leopold makes his choice—but too late. His family is ripped apart, never to be reunited. But decades later, fate brings together the descendants of this broken dynasty in the place where it all began—Falcon Point.

Anna, Cole, and Tess have never met, each relying on fractured pieces of information to understand their Austrian heritage. But when unforeseen opportunities draw these Lang cousins to Falcon Point, they soon discover they are not alone in their quest to claim the coveted property and the fabled treasure hidden within. Unfortunately, another claimant, one with a much darker heritage, is determined to eliminate the Lang family once and for all.

**i highly recommend this**

***HIGHLY***

OHMYGOODNESS.

This was AWESOME. Have you read the other reviews?? Yes, everything there is spot-on accurate. #1 Don't start this at night (i did. did i regret it? maybe.) because, after a few pages, you won't wanna stop (at least, not for me at all). #2 The exquisiteness and wonderfulness of this book deserve allllllllll the chef's kisses in the world. ALL OF IT.

And by "the exquisiteness and wonderfulness of this book", I mean the characters, the plot, the setting, the PLOT... THE PLOT.

THE PLOT.

SO. GOOD.

HOW?!

Let's make this..."review" (cus it toooootally won't warp into a rant)... more tidy by starting with Karl Lang in Austria 1940.

YOU GUYS.

*takes deep breaths*

I don't know if it was the lovely writing or the creativity behind the making of this book, but from page 1 (realistically, probably by chapter 1 but anyways-), Karl (and the story) gripped me from the start. I had to know what happened next with him and his family. I haaaaaad to. This book has some, like, superpower or something that can hook you and get you so engaged with him (and the story). He was my absolute favorite character from this book. He had the unique-est voice and was so incredibly distinct. And those are my absolute favorite type of characters! The story in 1940 was laid out so incredibly well, and it was so perfectly done to make you even more looking forward to what happened next in the contemporary setting.

I hardly usually read books with that many POV changes as this one had, but it fitted so well and was perfect for the plot. It totally enhanced it. I didn't have any special connection with much of the characters from the contemporary setting, but the exchange between the POVs, as I said, really enhanced the plot and kept things moving. It never dragged. It felt like I was speed reading all the time because of how fast it was passing. There was enough intrigue, suspense, "what-if"s, and "oh-no"s to get me going back to the book to find out what the next step was. Books like these are a big reason why I love reading, haha!

Oh, and I'm currently mentally face-palming myself right now for forgetting how cute the romances were! Super sweet, super-slightly subtle, super clean. It was exactly what I liked.

And the message... gosh! There is this message about the importance of family and about treasuring it. Guysss.... ahh, my heart! The way the book was outlined and planned, how it all fell in together and was crafted... AH, this message speaks volumes through the story and it is so moving!

I loved this book so much. My only complaint can be that we would never see more of Karl's POV ever again... haha (*internally wails*)... and that we have to wait until 2022 to see more of the characters (I'M SO EXCITED FOR THAT!!!!!!!). Let me tell y'all. This book can keep you on the edge of your seat and get you either flipping the pages or pounding your kindle hard to find what happens next. It is so wonderfully written and creatively crafted! Sooooooo, I recommend this to everyone on the entire planet, but more specifically to anyone who might be facing a reading slump, enjoys historical fiction, suspense, and a drop of mystery. :D

This book release is coming up fast! I’m excited.

This project all started when Sian Ann Bessey went to visit Washington, DC, and met Traci Hunter Abramson and Paige Edwards (both from N. Virginia) for what was supposed to be a visit to the Smithsonian Air & Space Museum. They made it to the museum, but spent most of their time brainstorming a book idea instead of looking at airplanes. I was asked to do the historical portion of the book, and I said yes.

All of us knew each other (we share a publisher and have been to many of the same writing events), but due to Covid and the fact that Paige and Traci live on the East Coast and Sian and I live in the west, we were never able to meet in person while working on this book (at least not all four of us at the same time). All our brainstorming, plotting, revising, editing, and marketing meetings were held via Zoom or email or rapid-fire text conversations. (Try scheduling a Zoom meeting with a four-hour time difference among participants sometime. It gets complicated, lol.)

Creating a book like this was a unique experience, and I think the result is something readers will really enjoy.

The story starts in 1940 with Leopold Lang, an Austrian, being told he needs to work for the Nazis . . . or else. His son, Karl, and his two daughters, Ingrid and Anna, end up fleeing their beloved estate of Falcon Point, never to return. Eighty years later, events draw their descendants, Cole, Tess, and Anna back to their Austrian roots, but not everyone wants them to unravel the puzzles surrounding their various family histories and reclaim their heritage.

I’d call Heirs of Falcon Point a suspense novel, but it has a mix of elements: history, coming-of-age, a bit of clean romance, and a strong theme of family. It's written for adults but clean enough for teens too. I hope you enjoy it!

Wow, I have so much running through my head right now and so much I want to say. Most importantly, I loved this book. The whole concept with the four authors and a dual timeline where we start in the past and then spend the rest of the book in the present day was genius. It was like the best of both my favorite worlds- historical fiction and contemporary. There was mystery and adventure, danger and treasure!!. And yes, there was love. It all combined to give me a story that had me invested and interested from beginning to end. The ending had me on the edge of my seat with anticipation. I loved it so much!

Honestly, the historical loving part of me wanted more of the past. I wanted to follow each of the Lang siblings all the way to the end. I wanted "the rest of the story"! (anyone old enough to get that reference there?) We get some details filled in throughout the story but it just wasn't enough for me. Greedy, right? Yeah, I know.

I'm so hopeful that these authors will do more of this. Please let there be more of this. Will anyone write the Lang siblings stories? Please? I know. I'm greedy and I'm a beggar. That's what book love does to you. It makes you a greedy beggar. 😂

Content: peril, some violence, death. Kissing.

Do NOT mess with the Lang family. They are smart and can think outside the box!

The thing that amazes me is that this novel is penned by four authors. It is one story that runs seamlessly between the different characters. It is told from multiple viewpoints, so I'm wondering if they all took a character and wrote their point of view? I really can't tell. I was so engrossed in the story and the plot that I didn't pay attention to see if there was a different writing style. As I said above, the transitions were wonderful!

The story starts in Austria at the beginning of Hitler's grab for power. Austria has succumbed and the Lang family does not want to support him. When push comes to shove, the family pack up to leave, but not all of them will be escaping. While trying to escape the children are separated. They each go a different way and thwart the military's efforts to capture them. If this scene doesn't catch your attention and interest, then I don't know what will.

Then the story comes to the modern-day. Someone wants to stop the descendants of Leopold Lang from taking back their estate. The funny thing is that until the trustee makes a move to renovate the Lang grandchildren do not know about each other or their inheritance.

The book has quite a bit of suspense and a little bit of romance. I had a hard time putting this one down. From what I understand, there will be more stories coming from the Lang family. I can't wait to get to know them better and find out how their love interests work out.

This book is a gem. I was honestly a bit hesitant when I saw that it was written by 4 authors. I was wondering if it would come together well and maintain a unified style. I need not have worried. In fact, I would say these 4 authors make up quite the dream team. I enjoyed every page of this fast paced story. The plot was quite unique. While I wouldn't call this a dual timeline, the book opens in the 1940s (and boy was this part wonderfully written!), then moves to modern day shortly thereafter and remains so to the end of the novel. The way the plotlines of the 4 modern day Lang family members amalgamate was well done. I'd recommend this book to anyone who enjoys romance, suspense, contemporary or even historical fiction. I had never read any of these authors until now, but will be looking into each of their prior works. I heard a rumor of sequel, and I certainly hope it's true!

I received a complimentary copy of this book. Opinions expresses are entirely my own.

Wow! This was so intriguing, non-stop action beginning in the past, and continuing onto the present where the Lang family is still fighting for what was taken away but is rightfully given back to them. I couldn't believe that there were four authors writing this, it was such seamless writing you would never know...and the good news is there is more to come. Can't wait!

WOW! This book was amazing. I was pulled in from the very beginning and could see this making an incredible movie. When I first saw there were four authors I assumed this was an anthology, but I was so wrong. It was an amazing story written by very talented authors who put these characters together seamlessly. There is so much mystery, intrigue and suspense that it is hard to out it down. I hated when life interfered and I had to step away for a time. The characters are wonderful and you can't help but become attached to the Lang's and cheer them on. This is one of the best books I've read this year. I honestly wish there had been an epilogue, but it did have a nice ending.

I received a complimentary copy from the publisher through Netgalley and this is my honest review.

Wow! If there’s one book that I would highly recommend reading this year, it’s Heirs of Falcon Point! From the very first chapter I was hooked and found it difficult to put down. The heart-stopping suspense is ongoing with nonstop twists and turns. Then there’s the sizzlingly palpable romantic tension between the characters in addition to the intriguing mystery of what happened to the original heirs and treasure of Falcon Point.

Each of the stories and characters is woven seamlessly throughout by four brilliant writers. It’s honestly difficult to tell who wrote what and feels like it was written by just one person because all the elements of the story flow together so well.

The plot and setting drew me in immediately. The story takes place in both the tumultuous times of WWII and present day Austria. When an old friend shows up at the Lang family’s beautiful estate in Nazi occupied Austria, he’s not there for a social call. Forced with an impossible decision “betray his country or betray his conscience,” Leopold Lang makes an impossible decision, one that will cost him everything and potentially separate his family forever. Now 80 years later and spread throughout the world, the descendants of the original heirs are drawn back together by the irresistible mystery and hidden treasure of Falcon Point. Not everyone wants the true heirs to be found though and it’s a fast-paced high stakes race to solve the mystery before it’s too late.

Not only was the story amazing, but I loved all of the characters as well and found it difficult to let go when the story ended. I found myself on the edge of my seat many times reading and wondering how the characters would make it through. Yet, despite the suspense, there are moments of humor and several sweet romances that endeared me to the characters even more.

Filled with suspense, nonstop action, captivating romances, and a compelling mystery, this quick read is definitely a five star novel I wholeheartedly recommend. My hope is that this is not the end of the story because I definitely want to know what happens next for these characters! Thanks to the authors and Covenant Communications for providing me with an advanced digital copy through NetGalley. All opinions are my own and I was not required to give a positive review.

Let me just say it was fabulous and I only had three and a half hours of sleep after starting the book at 11:00 last night. My only advice is to not start it at night unless you want to be up most of the night! It was totally worth it! I am amazed at how flawlessly authors Paige Edwards, Traci Hunter Abramson, Sian Bessey, and A.L. Sowards wrote this story together.

From before the book starts, it says "In the early days of World War II, the Lang family lost everything. Eighty years later, it's time to take it back." What a compelling and well-written story!

It begins in Austria two years after the Anschluss. where the Austria they knew, no longer exists and Leopold Lang has to make the choice of following his conscience and trying to save his children Karl, Ingrid, Anna, and himself, or joining the Nazis. "Which is worse? Betraying your conscience or betraying your country." "After the Anschluss, I held out hope that Hitler's bluster would blow over, that we'd still have some autonomy. But I've watched what's happening, here and in Chechoslovakia and in Poland. Herr Hitler is leading us to ruin."
"Only those who must know the truth should have to bear its burden."
"Life is full of surprises and hardships, Karl. Plan for what you can, and do your best to get back up when you're knocked over by something unexpected."

In the present timeline, I loved how it kept me guessing. I enjoyed the contemporary characters so much, as well as the humor. "Should we be worried that you know what to do to hide a crime scene?" "I'll be fine, it's just a flesh wound." I was loving and rooting for Anna, Beckett, Tess, Lars, Bram, Cole, and Isabelle! Hey dear authors, would you ever consider doing a follow-up to this story? You would have my vote!

I have to give kudos to these four authors for such a well-written, flawlessly woven story that kept me turning pages and on the edge of my seat most of the night!

I highly recommend Heirs of Falcon Point! I thank the authors for allowing me to read an early copy. All opinions are my own,

Warning! Do not start this book late at night! These four authors have delivered a sleep stealer and once you start, you will not be able to put it down.

This is an action-packed, heart-pounding suspense with a strong dose of mystery and swoony romance. I loved every single page!!

The Lang family lost everything in the early days of WWII. 80 years later, their descendants try to piece together the mystery of what happened to the family treasure but are being hunted by someone who has everything to lose if they succeed.

It is hard to believe this was written by four different authors. This is not an anthology; each author writes points-of-view from different characters but the writing is smooth and seamless.

I don't want to say too much because I don't want to spoil anything, but TRUST ME, this is one book you do NOT want to miss! 5 stars for this phenomenal read only but because I can't go any higher.

I received a complimentary copy but a positive review was not required.

Every time I see multiple authors going in on a single story I always worry about the cohesion and meshing of different writing styles. I am happy to report that with the Heirs of Falcon Point, this is not the case. The transitions between characters and the plot were seamless and if you weren't looking, you'd have never known this was written by 4 women instead of one.

Heirs of Falcon point is a historical suspense novel, which is a genre I rarely read. It is about a family that has lost their home to German occupation and horrendous crime during WW2. I have read books about the properties and treasures that were lost in war times and it never ceases to anger me.

With the multiple authors and characters we get a lot going on. There's action involving the CIA, suspense, found family and romance between multiple couples on every page. I have read these authors individually and it was fun seeing them join forces.

This is a quick read that is clean in content and perfect for teens to adults.

This is a fast-paced, intriguing read that relies more on the history and characters' goals than on each individual character's growth.

It starts in Austria in 1940 with a father trying to get himself and his three children away from the Nazis. Things don't go well and the family is separated.

Then it jumps to present time to follow the descendants of each of those siblings and it includes several points of view, including the antagonists. I liked the setting of Falcon Point and the way the cousins worked together to restore what was rightfully theirs.

I received a copy from the publisher through NetGalley and this is my honest opinion.

VERY SUSPENSEFUL.

BLOG || INSTAGRAM

I was asked to be apart of a release for a future book in this series and I wanted to catch up with the start of the stories! (Though I heard you don’t HAVE to read this first, I wanted to though).

ANYWAYS. Y’all, I really enjoyed this. All of these authors truly came together and created a cohesive story that flowed well and got my heart rate up a bit. I loved seeing the whole cast of characters come together to get back what was rightfully there’s.

I do wish there had been a little more depth to the relationships. There were three small plot romances that I loved, but wanted to see a little more of them. I did like all of the characters and how each had a unique background that I think will show up in future books.

Overall audience notes:
- Historical Suspense
- Romance: kisses
- Violence: high
- Trigger/Content Warnings: murder, gun violence, knife violence, loss of life, attempted murder

This multi author book was flawless. There were no seams in the book where you would expect to hear multiple voices. The continuity was fantastic and the piecing together of this story was amazing.

I loved the historical background and found myself immediately drawn in to the mystery in the WWII background. The premise of the Nazi's involvement in this family had me emotionally charged from the beginning.

The premise of this story is unfortunately too possible which adds to the realism. While I could have read the historical books about the Lang children and what happened to them during WWII, the glimpses of the past as the characters pieced together the mystery were very revealing and the timing of reveals kept the pacing of the story going.

This was a story I couldn't put down and it was in a word, fantastic. I hope there are more where this came from.

I can't begin to tell you how long I was waiting in anticipation for this book. I had heard the authors talking about it and how the story idea came about. Then finally being able to read a teaser in one of the author's previously published books. Oh. My. Heavens!!!! I couldn't wait. And let me tell you that the wait was worth it. This book was honestly perfection!

You would think that with four authors collaborating and writing a book together that you would be able to tell one author's writing to the next, right? Wrong! It flowed so smoothly and flawlessly. I was so amazed. I've been reading all four of these authors' books for years and can recognize their writing but if the cover didn't say it was written by different authors, and if I didn't have the key for who wrote which character and didn't know the types of stories/characters they write, I wouldn't know it was written by four different authors.

Stunning story about family, the past, the present, the future and righting what was wrong. These characters are on their own treasure hunt to discover secrets from a past they've had little information about. But it all comes together and their discoveries and journeys are very intriguing. I didn't want to set the book down at all.

From the historical to the contemporary aspects of this book, I became more and more endeared to this family. I was holding my breath through some parts. I was laughing at others. And at others I was sighing. Yes, there is some sweet and clean romance as well. With so many characters' stories happening throughout the book, you might think that there's no way it will all be wrapped up and filled in completely, but it is. These authors wrote something magical. There were no loose ends. Except the teaser chapter for the next book. Lol! I need more and I am so happy to say that there's more Lang family adventures coming!!! I CANNOT WAIT!!!!

This is one of my favorite reads of the year and I HIGHLY recommend you picking it up. It's a great Christmas gift idea for the readers on your list. Or a just get it because it's amazing type purchase. Or request a copy at your local library so that many more people can enjoy it.

Content: Clean. There is mild suspense throughout the book. There are chase scenes, fights, guns, bad guys, and such. But the authors wrote it in a clean way. There is some romance but it is clean and sweet, nothing more than some kisses.

I received a copy from the publisher, Covenant Communications, via NetGalley. All thoughts and opinions in the review are my own.

Happy Reading!!!

WOW! This is one of the best romantic suspense novels I have ever had the pleasure of reading! Definitely a top read for 2021 which is saying something. The story just blew me away with how incredible and intricate it was and yet so completely seamless. I never would have guessed that four authors collaborated to write this because the plot just flows so perfectly. It is not an anthology, but these four powerhouse authors collaborated to write the different characters' POVs and honestly, you'd never know it wasn't one single author, the details and plot are so well connected and the flow never misses a beat. The pace sucks you in from page one and I was on the edge of my seat until the very end, which to be honest with you had me tearing up with the incredibly meaningful and inspiring ending. I have to give total kudos to the genius that is this story.
I also love how incredible the details were in this book. It felt not only historically accurate for the WWII parts, but also for present day. It blends cultures and peoples and I fell in love with the way this fictional family's story connected.
This is a sleep stealer and book hangover inducing kind of novel. If I could give it more than five stars, I totally would. Hands down A-MAZE-ING!
I received an advancer reader copy of this novel. All thoughts and opinions are my own. I enjoyed this book so much, that upon finishing I immediately knew I was preordering a final print copy to have as I will definitely be rereading this book and recommending it every chance I get. While there is some mild violence, this is a clean read with nothing graphic or gory. The romances are also PG and such an added bonus to the overall story.

I wasn’t sure what I was expecting when I opened this book. It was not to be blown away with danger, intrigue and suspense from the very beginning. But that was exactly what happened. I loved everything about this book! From the very beginning it keeps the reader intrigued and wanting to know what will come next.

This book starts out during the early days of World War II. The Lang family are the main characters. There are three Lang children, Karl, Ingrid and Anna. And they are in danger from the first. I really loved the way the plot moves from the lives of these three children to the lives of one of their grandchildren. It was kind of fun how the authors left the details of what happened to each of them to be told as it came out in the story.

I thought the authors did a fantastic job with all of the characters. The reader feels as though they know them and they care about what happens to them as the story goes along.

And the plot line. Wow! I could see this one in my mind as it unfolded. It was fantastic. I loved the danger and the mystery that the characters must figure out before it’s too late.

This is one of those books that you won’t want to put down. It’s fantastic!

Four powerhouse authors deliver BIG on this nail-biting suspense! I’ve read almost everything by these four authors and came in with HIGH expectations. Expectations met, and exceeded! The suspense I found was exactly what I look for in a book to keep me hooked, but still breathe when the lights go out. I loved the relationships and interwoven stories. The beginning based during WWII was perfection and set up the rest of the story perfectly! I wondered if I would feel like the writing would show the individual authors writing styles and was amazed at how smooth and connected the writing was. I can’t imagine how much effort went into making this book what it is! It is nothing short of perfection! Highly, highly recommend!!!

Though written by four authors, Heirs of Falcon Point traces the story of the original Lang family and their descendants with precision and consistency. I appreciated the author contribution page which listed author responsibilities by character. I had previously read one novel by A. L. Sowards, but Heirs of Falcon Point introduced me to Paige Edwards, Sian Ann Bessey, and Traci Hunter Abramson.

Heirs of Falcon Point commences with the Lang family in 1940 Austria and captured my attention right away. Though a bit heart-rending, this was the easiest part of the story to read as it chronicled the dangerous flight from their beloved home and country. Once the plot switched to present day (at chapter 14) to focus on the Lang family descendants, I still liked the story, but only read one or two chapters at a time. The four descendants, plus their love interests, entered the story and the narrative jumped around between all the characters. Due to the complexity of the characters and accompanying narratives, I had difficulty getting invested in any of them. Of the romances, I enjoyed Beckett and Anna’s second chance romance the best. Once the cousins became aware of their Falcon Point inheritance and the stories began to converge together, I found the novel more pleasurable to read.

Heirs of Falcon Point by Traci Hunter Abramson, Sian Ann Bessy, Paige Edwards, and A. L. Sowards is an interesting story. I would likely enjoy this story more on a second read as I’d have less difficulty keeping everything straight.

Disclosure of Material Connection: I was provided a copy of this book by the author or publisher. All opinions in this review are my own.

#BookReview: HEIRS OF FALCON POINT by Traci Hunter Abramson, Sian Ann Bessey, Paige Edwards & A.L. Sowards

Wow, I can finally breathe. This heart pounding suspense and mystery story was really good. It has captured my attention from start to finish. It’s not my normal choice of genre, but I am glad I decided to read it.

The four authors did well in creating a spellbinding family drama and tension with a touch of romance. I have only read Ms. Abramson’s work. I am now interested to read from the other three authors too.

The plot was well paced. The characters then and now were well established even the antagonists. The story was mostly set in the present day but the history at the beginning was really good. I didn't want to miss anything until the end. The time period change and the varying characters' introduction into the story were all seamlessly done.

I liked how the heirs worked well together to recover their inheritance. They experienced a lot of life threatening events, but their legacy created a bond among them. Leopold’s letter was really meaningful. I love it. I want more stories about the Lang family. I highly recommend this book. 5 stars

Riveting, suspenseful and full of lots of unexpected turns! This is a strongly written story reminiscent of the von Trapp family fleeing Austria from the Third Reich, with countless twists and turns before dropping the reader into the present day where descendants try to unravel the myths and mysteries.

It's been two weeks since I read this amazing book and still don't know how to put my feelings about it into words. It's simply an incredible book. The story flows so seamlessly you can't tell four authors wrote it. It has everything I've come to expect from these authors--multi-layered characters, great descriptions, edge of my seat suspense, heart-pounding what's-going-to-happen-next moments, all done with a touch of romance, and yet clean enough that teenagers can read it.

We start back in WWII times when Leopold Lang, an Austrian, chooses not to work for the Nazis who are making their play for dominion. His three children (Karl, Ingrid, and Anna) barely escape and have plans to meet up in London. Then the story fast forwards 80 years and we find that the Lang family never returned to their beloved home, Falcon Point. It's been kept from them and time is quickly running out for a Lang family heir to claim what is rightfully theirs before it's all lost to them forever.

This book held my attention from the first page thanks to A.L. Sowards and her amazing ability to write historicals. The tension, which never let up, had me reading late into the night, and once we see that each Lang grandchild has discovered a connection and is on their way to Falcon Point it only intensified. I loved how the cousins all worked together. This was the type of experience that makes for a life-long bond. I loved how each cousin's talent came into play when push came to shove, and together they sent a loud message that the Lang family was back!!!

I love that we're going to get more about these descendants of Karl, Ingrid and Anna and hopefully more about what happened to Karl, Ingrid and Anna once they fled. I'm definitely one of those people who like to get "the rest of the story". Again, well done Traci, Sian, Paige, and Amanda. This definitely makes the top 5 of my favorites books of 2021. And though I always have a huge TBR pile I can't wait to read any and all follow up books about the Lang family. I wish I could give this more than 5 stars.

I received a digital copy for review from Covenant Communication via NetGalley. I also bought an ebook for my personal library. All thoughts expressed in this review are my own.

When you think of a tree, in your mind do picture a tree or see the word tree?
.
I definitely see the word. Very rarely do I picture anything. I can read an entire book and never see a character in my mind. I've never been good at that and so I rarely spend time trying. I have vague images, like those faceless family paintings that are so popular right now. So hair color and gender basically 🤣 Don't get me wrong, I can still get completely pulled into a book, I just rarely *see* it. Does that make sense?
Anyways, this book had me picturing things. I read this book as if a movie was playing out in my mind. It was pretty amazing. I love history and architecture and art so reading descriptions of Falcon Point was awesome. Besides the beautiful backdrop, this story was pretty exciting. Some suspense, some romance, some twists- for the reader as well as the characters. My favorite character was Cole, so Traci, I really hope you write something else about him. He is tough and swoony and good and I'm a fan.

This was a fast-paced, relatively quick read involving both history and some suspense. I grew to like all of the characters and was extremely impressed that four authors managed to weave their stories together pretty seamlessly. However, I did feel like it would focus on a pair of characters for several chapters straight, then kind of forget about them. I would have preferred to have the parts spliced together more. Overall, an entertaining and extremely clean read.

…sometimes courage wasn’t about fighting. Sometimes courage was about letting go of what was most wanted for oneself and, instead, fulfilling one’s duty.

This was a spectacular story! I can’t stress enough how good it was, well planned, well written, seamless transitions from each writer and pov. It was fast paced, full of action, mystery, suspense, and intrigue. The cast of characters, past and present, good and bad, were dynamic and interesting. The multiple budding romances were an excellent added bonus. So many wonderful elements blended together for a truly remarkable read.

Heirs of Falcon Point is the story of Lang family and their journey in discovering lost/unknown family relations, the ancestral home, and the danger and schemes that altered their grandparents’, and subsequently, their lives forever. The book begins with Leopold Lang and his three children attempting to leave their homeland before Leopold is forced into serve for the Nazis. But when their father is murdered, the children make a harrowing escape and are separated with the hopes of being reunited soon in London. Fast forward to present day and three converging storylines of the Lang heirs who have no idea one another exist.

The Lang family has found their way deep into my heart. From the past to the present, their story is one of courage and survival and family above all else. My only complaint is that the book ended too soon, but that isn’t really a valid complaint since I know we have had a previous release and two coming releases that will further endear them to me. Now on to Karl Lang and the Codes of Courage. I’m hoping my heart will survive inevitable conclusion.

Four authors one phenomenal book!
Have you ever wondered what would happen if four great authors worked together on one story? Well now you can see the results. This book brings four great authors together to collaborate on one story and it really works. This book will have you engaged in the first chapter, if not first page, it is so good and it continues to get better with each following chapter. You definitely will not want to put it down. The book opens in Austria just after the Nazis have taken control. Leopold Lang, a wealthy Austrian and a coding/decoding expert, is approached by a friend and asked to join the Nazi movement. When he refuses it becomes clear to him that the Nazis will not take no for an answer and he decides to flee with his children. But deceit, greed, and murder intervene and the children are separated never to be reunited again. Now the children’s descendants are continuing the search for Falcon Point but the path again is filled with the evil Leopold faced. What a great book! Thanks to the publisher and Netgalley for the copy. This is my honest review and I highly recommend it.
