Bonds That Bind

Rate this book
Our skin was the same. Well, not quite. Blue swirled across my skin. His burnt a fiery red. Our marks visually branded us as rivals and has through countless generations of warfare. Those deaths brought us to this moment – a handshake. This was the first time in generations our tribes could agree on anything.

Peace. It was an idea that had no substance. The Ario never believed in peace, only plotting. Now I’m expected to trust an enemy who is notorious for going back on their word.

About the author

Ashley Ann

8 books19 followers
A lifelong book lover, Ashley grew up immersed in stories and distant adventures. From a young age, she carried a notebook brimming with short tales written in every color of ink she could find. At just thirteen, she completed her first "novel." With the steady support of her family, Ashley spent the following decades exploring new narratives and refining her writing craft.

In 2021, Ashley released her first book Sealing Her Fate.

When not writing, Ashley enjoys binge reading whole series or letting Netflix judge her for watching an entire season in one sitting. She enjoys traveling and exploring new cities.

Ashley’s work combines magical realism, bad choices that lead to horrible results, tongue in cheek humor, and a little romance.

Interesting Read

Peace, a word that has not been uttered for far too long. Is this peace real, or is it a con? Only time will tell.

This book is interesting. I recommend it to young adult readers, as well as adults who enjoy YA or fantasy.

I won this book in a Goodreads giveaway.
