I don’t like reading books that don’t pull you right in. This one makes you feel like you’re right there with the characters. The emotional rollercoaster, the growth of the characters, the unexpected ending.
Definitely will be checking out more of his books!
Such a wonderful story about love and friendship, mixed in with tragedy. I listened on audio and really enjoyed the narrator, Lisa Kay! She did a great job portraying the emotions of the characters.
This book is definitely one you want to read! I've been a fan of Phillip Tomasso's books for years but this is by far the best. Great storyline...even better characters. You'll fall in love with the characters. It's an emotional heartwarming story of loss, friendship and love. A definite must-read.
I loved this book the moment I read the first chapter. The characters were so real and honest. I cried, I laughed, I fell in love with Rigatoni. Monty was written perfectly. I want to be his friend, too! I highly recommend this book. It is a terrific love story.
He was a lawyer, lost his family to a car accident, left everything and became a chef at a diner. Then a new girl, Charlie became a waitress at the diner.
Get the tissue box ready! Great read. I was surprised by how it ended. Shocked me but was a down to earth read. Meaning what happens in this book is real life. No sugar coating.
