A Powerful Read!

The narrative, the journey, the experience shared in this book is wonderfully told. The more I read it the more engaged I was by the powerful words and sentences framed in the life of a man who sought the love of a father. Every young man needs to add this book into their library.

“(Experience is) sometimes the only teacher a fool is willing to listen to!” So true.

It’s a bit surreal to hear about your cousin’s childhood when we lived such different lives. This book was a nice insight as to how fatherlessness affects a person.

I’m not religious and the book was very religious lol which I honestly should have expected. It was inevitable that religion would be discussed because it’s at Steve’s core. I wasn’t a fan of the religious aspect but I did enjoy the memoir portion.

I’m not going to rate because I think it’s a conflict of interest but I think this book should be recommended reading for young men!
