Who says clumsiness can only destroy things? Does one bad quality make you a total write-off? Can a long-term habit be changed? Nancy is clumsy. She hates that she is, especially because it gets dear Ms Rita's things destroyed, but she can’t just seem not to be. She looks down on herself and thinks she isn’t good for anyone. Can anything good come from her? Clumsy Nancy deals with self-worth. It makes young people know that their mistakes do not define them, even if they seem to be unable to change after trying to. But they should never give up on themselves. Clumsy Nancy shows how a good heart surpasses a seemingly bad quality one may have. YETUNDE JOSEPH is a passionate writer of children's books who seeks to grace the world of young people with love, hope and happiness through her stories. Part of her best memories as a child were stories that gave her the opportunity to laugh, rhyme, sing, dream and change for the better. Her witty style is expressed in all of her books, making them a desirable read for both the young and old.
Won this little gem from Goodreads, and all the kids I have read it to, have found it quite amusing. We're all glad that Nancy's character stood apart from her clumsiness, and that she built enough confidence, to become less clumsy, over time.
