If I'm going to guard the world from the darkness, I only know one with fire and fury.My third year is kicking off with a twist; I'm part of an elite group of students known as guardians, who protect the magical world from the army of darkness. I had to pass three trials to get here, but no one knows my secret.I cheated to get here.Sure, I've got reassembling an ancient weapon to defeat the world's most evil witch—AKA the Shade—and fulfilling an ancient prophecy. But the truth is, things are getting dark for your girl. Sometimes I wonder if it's all true, what they say about fire witches going bad.The only way to find out what's on the other side is through.Good Witches Don't Curse is the third book in the Academy of Shadowed Magic series, a new adult urban fantasy featuring a badass, snarky heroine, laugh-out-loud humor and all the magic and mayhem you'd expect.
Excellent 1) The female lead continued to grow and mature while remaining multi-dimensional, relatable and likable 2) The new 'ally' relationship developed in a believable and engaging manner
Good 1) The female lead's new responsibilities added depth and detail to the world and story 2) The storytelling flowed better and developed some sophistication 3) The settings were again rendered beautifully 4) The series arc grew in complexity 5) The plot-driven storyline had a beginning, middle and end 6) The plot-driven storyline was filled with suspense and intrigue 7) I keep forgetting about the cat! The cat was hilarious as usual.
Bad 1) The teaching methods shown were still ridiculous 2) The male best friend character's characterization was flat 3) Whatever happen between the female lead and the male best friend started out as big deal, was never really fleshed out and then just dropped. 4)
Good Witches Don’t Curse (Academy of Shadowed Magic Book 3)
Good Witches Don’t Curse (Academy of Shadowed Magic Book 3) ~~ This series just keeps getting better! Book three had me completely captivated from the first scene. The magical battles were epic, but it’s the friendships and bonds between the characters that really made my heart happy. Clementine’s strength, especially as she faces darker choices and harder truths, was inspiring. Every chapter added new twists without feeling chaotic, and the slow-burn romance teased just enough to keep me wanting more. I flew through this book in a single weekend because I just couldn’t stop reading. I absolutely loved every page of it!

This is a brilliant read. Wonderful well written plot and story line that had me engaged from the start. Love the well fleshed out characters and found them believable. Great suspense and action with wonderful world building. Can't wait to read what the author brings out next. Recommend reading.
I read a complimentary advance copy of the book; this is my voluntary and honest review.
Having 2 pieces of the weapon, means it's time to find the 3rd. The riddle points to Siberia. The Shade is becoming more powerful, and the gaurdians are being attacked.
Another exciting page turner for me, but now the release date for the next one has been put back till August for update which I'm sure will be worth the wait.
