Sometimes tedious, but very imaginative.

Dense with narratives of multiple interconnected stories. Sometimes the looong speeches made me put out the light. But certainly worth reading.

Most complicated Holmes case I've ever read! Much sexuality, much graphic violence! UNUSUAL!!! Very, very unusual for a Holmes novel!
