Investigative journalist Quinn Ross isn’t a woman who can just let major news pass her by. So, when she stumbles across a story like no other, she makes it her mission to report it to the masses.
She doesn’t count on the lengths to which some may go to keep her story from seeing the light of day. When Quinn suddenly finds herself in need of escape, she heads straight for tiny Marble Falls and her brother, Mason.
When he’s not running his company’s IT department, Wyatt Gray—former SEAL and co-owner of Marble Protection—spends every spare minute searching for those who betrayed him. The ones who turned him and teammates into something beyond mere mortals. He doesn’t have time for distractions—but that’s exactly what he gets, in the form of his best friend’s sassy, spunky, sexy sister…who’s moved in right across the hall.
From the moment they meet, Quinn and Wyatt’s chemistry is combustible. But they both have big secrets. Then there’s Mason, who may consider Wyatt a brother, but he might still kill him for lusting after his baby sister.
But soon, none of that matters. When a killer sets his sights on Quinn, any chance at happiness with Wyatt may end before it’s had a chance to begin.

The following ratings are out of 5: Romance: 🖤💙❤️💜 Heat/Steam: 🔥🔥🔥 Story/Plot: 📕📗📘📙 World building: 🌏🌍🌎🌍 Character development: 😚☹️🥹😉 Narrator(s): 🎙🎙🎙 Narration type: Dual Narration
The heroine:Quinn - she is a big city reporter and sister to Mason who is a former Navy SEAL and part owner of Marble Protection, a protection and security firm in Marble Falls. She recently moved into her brother Mason’s old apartment after she was fired for not following an order from her boss to stop looking into a story about men with superpowers breaking into a pharmaceutical lab. She loved her job and couldn’t understand why her boss didn’t want her to investigate the story. She is now poor and jobless, after a few months in New York without a job so is moving to Marble Falls into her brother’s old apartment.
The Hero:Wyatt - he is one of Mason’s former military teammates and one of the other partners in Marble Protection. He, Mason and their friends were some of the men that Quinn had been following on a story about. They were held captive for two years and had been injected with a serum without their consent which altered their DNA. They are now free and had gotten compensation by the government since Project Arma had begun as a government sanctioned project. Though the government hadn’t known all of what was going on in that project and had tried to shut it down. Wyatt and his friends have been trying to track down the people behind the project and free any other military personnel who are being held captive.
The Story: Wyatt and Quinn were attracted to each other from the start and were both big flirts. They started seeing each other from the start after Quinn moved in. Quinn was still researching her story despite no longer having a job. Though things started to get weird when her old boss showed up to make sure she had dropped the story. He was very pushy with her and Wyatt stepped in to tell the guy to leave and not come back.
One thing I really liked about this story was something I had wondered about in the last book. Project Arma was once funded by the government and tried to shut it down, though the men behind it got away. Unlike many other books with the super soldier trope, the government or some huge corporation is no longer involved in project Arma. The guys’ SEAL team commander is behind the project and has some crazy idea to create a super army and take over the world. I was wondering where the project was now getting their money. This was answered when the bad guys were breaking into pharmaceutical labs and stealing specialized drugs and ingredients that are rare, drugs that are a part of the super soldier serum.
This audiobook was told in dual points of view via dual narration and was narrated by Grace Grant and Michael Gallagher. I am not that fond of Grace Grant’s voice or narration style. You can. Definitely tell she is reading. She has a lot of pauses where there shouldn’t be. Michael Gallagher has a great voice, and I liked his narration, though most of the chapters were done in Quinn’s point of view.

Will they bring more danger to one another’s door ...
I discovered the author’s work with the previous book. And I liked it, it had all the good vibes, a gentle alpha guy, a strong heroine without being a badass, danger and a drop of paranormal. And my second did not disappoint. The ending of Mason’s story was a leading string to the content of this book. Quinn is Mason’s little sister who is trying a way out of her predicament by regrouping in her brother’s flat. With as boy next door, Wyatt, Mason’s brother in arm and colleague. One thing is certain, Quinn is no damsel in distress, she might have had to move, but it is for herself to find a solution to her predicament. And sure, she appreciated her neighbor in all his yumminess. Wyatt signed up in the army to help people, he is man attracted to violence just for the taste of blood, he does what he has to but he is no thug. Why he respects Quinn, he can switch to overprotective mood as he is built like that but never he will walk on her.
While they have an instant chemistry, their relationship began slow, and even if Quinn would have liked to push it a bit forward faster, Wyatt waited to win her trust before letting things going farther. In all, a fun entertaining fast paced story. 4.5 stars

I have been granted an advance copy by the author, here is my true and unbiased opinion.
I couldn’t get enough of Wyatt and Quinn from the beginning. The moment he saw Quinn he just knew she was different and she was made for him but these two are harboring secrets and Wyatt needs to keep her safe. I loved how strong willed Quinn was and Wyatt was so sweet and caring!
This author is on my list of best debuts of 2020, almost a year later and she's still writing stellar suspense that I can't get enough of and tell everyone about. I never want this series to end even though I know that's unreasonable. All the characters and the plot/subplots have deeply woven themselves into my heart, I urge anyone reading this to start from book 1 (after the prologue), it's one amazing, mindblowing journey that you don't want to miss a second of. This book was just as epic as the others and I was unable to put it down, enthralled from cover to cover. That last chapter was also a doozy, preparing us for what's to come.
Quinn is currently my favorite character so far. She pretty much told Wyatt she liked him from the start and wasn't shy about it. Her bold personality is refreshing without her being too much. She still talked to Wyatt and was okay with relying on him when it made sense to do so.
I loved the story of Wyatt and Quinn, the two had instant chemistry and fit so well together, like they were made for each other. Quinn is a strong female character and doesn't go down without a fight, I like that about her. I look forward to reading Brodie's story next. I strongly recommend this book and the series.
I loved the romance side. The danger side was lacking.
Firstly I have to say that I loved Wyatt and Quinn. They both had strong characters and I loved it.
Quinn leaves New York, to live at her brother Mason’s, when she is sacked as a journalist. When the editor tells her to stop investigating a story and she doesn’t, her life is in danger. Quinn is investigating a murder spree at a laboratory when she finds the only living witness. Maya the witness, saw the men killing all the lab assistants, and saw how they didn’t seem human. How they were super fast, strong, and could hear heartbeats. When she tells Quinn what she saw, Quinn finds it hard to believe.
Quinn is staying in her brothers flat, directly across from Wyatt’s. When Wyatt first meets her he’s blindsided by her beauty and her character. As they develop feelings for each other, it becomes obvious that Quinn is in danger because of the story.
There’s a few incidents of danger, but nothing exciting, till right near the end. And honestly it was over so fast it was disappointing. I obviously don’t want her to be tortured. It’s just it was over so quickly, then as usual with this author, it’s a flaming week later!!! 😡😡 Stop skipping over the best parts!!!
Having said all that, their romance is lovely, and Quinn is far far better written than Sage was. She’s funny and quirky, and I loved it. Wyatt is also brilliant. He’s so caring and sweet with Quinn and funny. Definitely one of the best of this series.
I like to read reviews before I leave my own. One review I definitely agree with at this point in the series. This series is getting boring, and at this point I keep reading to find out what happens in the end.
This book was... OK. I didn't hate it, but I really didn't like it much, either. The main problem I am having with this book and with the series so far is that all the books are pretty much the same anymore. There is always the getting to know you part, then something happens where the FMC gets attacked. Then once we get to about 80-85% in, she will get kidnapped, only to get saved pretty handily by the guys.
At this point, each step forward for them shutting things down is tiny (except maybe the last book). It feels, to me, that they just aren't doing much, and are always getting attacked. I just don't believe that they can go this long without being able to make more of a dent.
I probably will finish the series, but I am not going to hold my breath. The rest will probably be all the same as the others. I just wish I could get a different book, rather than the same one over and over again.
⛔️ (in notes) “Stepping forward, Quinn rose up to her toes. Wrapping her fingers around his neck, she pulled his head down until his ear was by her lips. “They’re whatever you want them to be, sexy.” Then she pressed a kiss to his cheek before turning and walking back the way she’d come”
- h is way too forward for me, pushing her way in his apartment for coffee, calling him sexy, handsome and so on.. she’s definitely not my type of heroine, she’s really weird
Great series and characters, but every book has the exact same story line, hero meets girl, girl gets kidnapped and beat up by bad guys, then good guys save the day. Leaving lots of bad guys to show up in the next book and series. Great writing just lacks imagination. 14-15 books same exact plot and ending.

Wyatt Project Arma, Book 5 By: Nyssa Kathryn Narrated by: Grace Grant, Michael Gallagher
Nyssa Kathryn pens another fantastic “Project Arma” novel, an exciting romantic suspense that captivates your attention from start to end. I can not give this series enough praise, each book series features a different member of a team of former Navy seals who are working together to track down those behind Project Arma, an unsanctioned military project led by their former leader who had turned rogue. The series is best enjoyed in the order written, since Project Arma is an ongoing storyline that runs throughout. This fifth book tells Wyatt Gray and Quinn Ross’ story. Wyatt is an IT specialist and co-owner of Marble Security, who was introduced in the earlier books. Quinn is Mason’s younger sister who is staying at his apartment in Marble Falls while he is away with Sage, who reconnected with her brother in the previous book, another Project Arma victim. Quinn, an investigative journalist with the NY Times, lost her job because of what she was investigating. She came to Marble Falls to regroup, but was not giving up on what she was looking into despite her bosses warnings to stop. She has been in touch with one witness who is on the run because she fears for her life. Quinn soon learns that coming to Marble Falls brings her closer to what she is investigating. It also brings her to Wyatt, her brother’s neighbor, friend and teammate. What started out as looking out for his friend’s sister turned into so much more, and Wyatt, the gentleman that he is, does not want to cross any lines without talking to Mason first. But the chemistry between them is undeniable and they could only deny each other for so long. I loved how everything played out in this book, the writing and plotting is fantastic, as is the world building and character growth and development. There is non-stop drama, explosive and suspenseful moments, heartfelt emotions that pour from the pages, and a heartwarming romance. It was great to see the characters from the previous books again and the team in action. Nyssa Kathryn, thank you for another amazing story and emotional rollercoaster ride.
🎧📚🎧 And for the amazing narration, Grace Grant and Michael Gallagher were the perfect cast to bring these characters to life. They had a complete understanding of who they were portraying and were believable in every role they played. Gallagher aced it as Wyatt, grasping every side of his personality, from his caring side to his overprotective, take no names alpha side. Grant’s Quinn was just as fabulous, she too grasped every side of her personality, from her strength and determination to her vulnerabilities which she tackled head on. Both were excellent in covering the secondary characters’ roles too. They set the perfect tone for the story, captured all the characters’ emotions and had you feeling them all. These versatile voice artists are entertaining storytellers and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for another wonderful listen.
Wyatt Gray’s new neighbor is off limits, but that doesn’t stop him from making time to see her and share his coffee with her. He just has to get her brother Mason, Wyatt’s SEAL brother, to accept him as part of her life. He’ll protect her with his life when he finds out that she is in danger.
Quinn Ross is the little sister of Mason Ross, a member of Marble Protection and military brother of her sexy new neighbor. Although, she’s not aware of that at first. Quinn lost the job she loved as an investigative journalist for the New York Times when she wouldn’t give up investigating a break in of a pharmaceutical company near where she lived and worked in New York. Thus, finding herself in danger without even realizing how dangerous and connected this is to her brother and his team’s fight.
I love the Project Arma books and Wyatt’s was no different. He’s a sweet man that wants to find a lifetime love and believes that he has with Quinn. Now he just needs to get Mason on board with it and keep Quinn safe and protected from the danger that surrounds the Marble Protection group. I loved Wyatt and Quinn’s story and the book kept me up until 2:00 am reading it because it was one thing after another, and I hated to put it down to go to bed. The characters of these books are great. The men have inhuman strength and abilities and the women that they find as their soul mates are strong, sassy, beautiful and love Mrs. Potter’s baked goods. Quinn has to find a new path in life and while doing so, she finds that she’s missed out on a lot while working herself so much living in New York. Now she’s ready to take some time to enjoy life, learn to bake, and find a love like her parents had. I love the characters and the story lines of this book and I give it a 5-star review. If you like secret project stories, powerfully strong, sexy men and the women that are the only one that can bring them to their knees, you will love the Project Arma books.
I give 5 stars for the series but different stars for each individual book. Rather than write a review of each of the 8 books, I'm just going to write 1 for the series. The series is about a group of former Navy SEALs who were experimented on without their consent and became super soldiers. They now run a business together while investigating the man/people who did this to them and still present a threat to them and their loved ones. Each man falls for a woman he needs to protect from their enemies. My initial impression of this series was that it was going to be a collection of stories that satisfy an array of tropes with the dedicated, loyal, protective hot guy falling for, and needing to protect, the strong but tormented woman. It is that; and if that was all it was, I would have been fine with that. I would have read them, probably more slowly, and taken breaks between books for maybe a little more substance. However, this series was tied together really well with the background story of chasing the bad guys who did this to them. With every story, it revealed a little more of what was going on, someone else involved, and increased the stakes. It really sucked me in, making it increasingly harder to stop reading and impossible to read anything else between books. For the last 3 books, I started reading the next book immediately after finishing the previous book, and kept reading until I couldn't keep my eyes open anymore. The whole series together was quite good but should be read in order. I also highly recommend the audiobooks. I listened while reading along.
Wyatt meets Quinn when she moves in next door. Quinn is Mason's sister. She lost her job as a NYT reporter because she wouldn't stop pursuing a story and she still planned to do so. They instantly click and begin spending time together but they both have things they need to resolve.
Wyatt Project Arma, Book 5 By: Nyssa Kathryn Narrated by: Grace Grant, Michael Gallagher
I cannot get enough of this series! Project Arma continues to build the suspense and thrills by adding Wyatt and Quinn's story. Not only is this romantic, but the plot thickens and just leaves me wanting more! Wyatt is looking out for Quinn while her brother Mason is away. She has come to town after being fired for following a story about strong, fast men that are committing murders. No,she has no idea her brother is part of the same project, but not the aggressors that Project Arma is still trying to create. Wyatt has an immediate attraction to her, but it's Mason's sister! He can't make a move! Not until she comes to him! He has captured her heart, saved her life and now that Mason is back, the danger is increasing! Will Quinn find Marble Falls to be her new home or will she go back to being are reporter? Will Wyatt and the team be able to keep her safe? And what will Mason think of their fledgling love? This is packed full of action, characters I love and love to hate and the team that I have come to love! It's like I am transported into the story with them all as it's going on! Bring on book 6, I am ready!
This gem is narrated by Michael Gallagher and Grace Grant and what a team they make! I love both of these storytellers and each has captured the essence of Wyatt and Quinn. Gallagher gives off that alpha male, protective feel as Wyatt comes to the rescue! He is warm and affectionate and everything I picture Wyatt to be. Grant pulls out all the stops as Quinn. Strong, independent, capable, she gives her the voice of confidence as her life is changing. Even facing the worst, she keeps her brave! Loved these two and can't wait for more!
5 Stars for Wyatt’s book in this amazing series!!!
This latest release featuring Wyatt ‘Jobs’ Gray and Quinn Ross, the investigative journalist sister of his best friend and team leader Mason Ross, shows that Author Nyssa Kathryn has perfected the balance of romance with suspense and high-action perfectly. While each book focuses on a different team member and a budding romance within the same series world, the main underlying plot continues to move forward and the team face a very different challenge from their enemies, and each book is still remaining fresh.
I know that I’ve said this in every review as I’ve read my way through Project ARMA, that the continuation of the plot thread means that you’ll benefit from starting with the prologue; Uncovering Project ARMA, and moving on from there.
I’m really getting attached to these strongly paired couples, where the women are strong and feisty. These ladies can hold their own in helping the guys from Marble Security uncover information that will lead them to seeking justice from those who forced the unsanctioned super-soldier drug trial onto them. As each book hits my kindle, I am held to ransom by the story that demands my full attention.
I absolutely and whole-heartedly loved this fifth book in the Project ARMA series, and now that Ms Kathryn has given an insight into what is coming next, I am all agog with anticipation! Again, it’s 5-Stars for Wyatt and Quinn’s book. 🖤💜
I could not put this book down, I loved everything about it. The storyline was fast paced and intriguing and the characters were fantastic.
Wyatt and Quinn made a perfect couple and I loved watching their relationship develop. Quinn’s presence added a fascinating layer to the plot with her background as a reporter and her tenacity to not give up on a story. I enjoyed how everything wound together and how it wrapped up in the end. Lots of twists, turns, and surprises along the way!
Each book in the series has its own couple/HEA yet continues a series story thread. Even though each book can ultimately be read as a standalone, I strongly recommend starting at the beginning of the series with the prologue – Uncovering Project Arma and moving forward. It will help with the overall continuing series thread as well as giving more insight into the characters. With each book more is learned about the project, the bad guys and the lengths they will go to take out Wyatt and his teammates and those they love.
I love the author’s pairing of the couples and that each of the women can hold their own with the men and the bad guys. All the ladies are smart, strong, and feisty while the guys are alpha personified yet caring and compassionate. I can’t wait for the next book in the series!
A favorite from Wyatt… “What are you thinking?” “That you completely undo me.”
I am addicted to this series. This is book 5 in the Project Arma series. It can be read as a stand-alone, but I wouldn't recommend it. To understand the full story and all of the characters, you really should start with book 1.
The men of Marble Protection are former Navy Seals that were betrayed by their commander in an attempt to create super solders. Now they have a new mission and that is to bring down Project Arma and their former commander. If their lucky, they'll even find a partner to love, to protect, someone who makes them whole again.
Quinn is a journalist after a story. One where people died, her only source is on the run, and now she's been fired because she won't let go of the story. She needs to know the truth, even if its caused her savings to dwindle and she now has to go live in the small town her older brother lives in.
Wyatt is a former Navy Seal, a protector, a man on a mission. He promised his best friend he'd watch out for his sister while he was out of town, but one look at Quinn and Wyatt knows he's in trouble.
As someone who has brothers, I feel for Quinn. Anyone who has overprotective brothers would. Nyssa captures this perfectly, making this book my new favorite in the series.
Incredible series, incredible writing, and incredible characters. Nyssa Kathryn once again knocks it out of the park. She has definitely made it into my must buy Authors list!
♠️♠️ONE MAGNIFICENT ADVENTURE♠️♠️ Bashing bonkers boo! Nyssan blazes through, breaking out the big guns, heavy artillery and ammo aplenty, dishing out one action packed, hard hitting, heart pounding, pulse racing, adrenaline pumping, jaw dropping, block busting dynamo, catapulting this bad boy to staggering heights. A churning vortex brimming with riveting drama, gripping intrigue, nailbiting schemes, brutal tactics, spiraling danger escalating suspense and spine tingling situations ensue, mindful of the perilous twists and explosive turns unfolding, meshing this gem together seamlessly. Stunning occurrences and unnerving events descend in a tempest of mishaps and mayhem, noting the daunting struggles and elusive triumphs while cognizant of the perilous twists and wicked turns unfolding, busted barriers and crushed perimeters solidify as limitations are exhausted and tested, propelling this baby to life flawlessly. The characters interactions and charged atmosphere along with relatable qualities and individual traits add depth and diversity, transforming into amazing personalities. The scenes are abundantly descriptive with colorful details that blend and flow, creating a majestic backdrop that's so rich and lively it feels as though you're part of the story instead of on the sidelines, feeling everything the characters feel. Fabulous job Nyssan, thanks for sharing this little treasure with us.
This series just keeps getting better and although there is an ongoing plot, each book has its own unique twist. This was a brother’s best friend, instant connection, romantic suspense. It was fast paced and pulled back another layer in the Project Arma mystery.
After losing her job an an investigative reporter for being unwilling to drop the story she was working on, Mason’s sister Quinn moves in to the apartment across the hall from Wyatt. They share an immediate connection, and although Wyatt knows who she is, he doesn’t tell her he is one of her brother’s teammates. When he finds out Quinn is in trouble and that the story she’s still investigating is connected to his team, he reveals who he is and what he can do with his altered DNA in an effort to earn her trust. Wyatt and Quinn put their investigation skills together and work to find the last lab with the chemicals Project Arma needs.
The end of this book was a wild ride. It was intense and as full of passion as it was suspense. I loved that Wyatt never questioned his feelings for Quinn and Mason accepted their relationship without having the obligatory big brother, alpha male brawl.
This was another great addition to this series. It’s hard to put these books down once you pick them up and because the last chapter is always a glimpse into the next book, I find myself binging the entire series.
We met Quinn at the end of Mason’s story, book four in the Project Arma series, and discovered that his sister was a journalist and needed a place to stay so she moves to Marble Falls. This is where she met Wyatt and let’s just say their meeting was extremely enjoyable. In this story, I was dying to see what would happen to them with the instant chemistry they’d experienced, as well as uncover just why Quinn needed to be in Marble Falls. I didn’t have to wait long to find out and both proved to be enlightening.
Their attraction sizzled for quite some time and for me this was more realistic, even though I do enjoy Insta-love stories too. It was more in keeping with Quinn, especially as she was an investigative journalist so her nature was not to jump in with both feet straight away. Wyatt is pretty much always cautious since the disaster of his team being used as guinea pigs so this felt right for him too. Both also seemed the perfect fit and I was definitely on #teamWyQu! 😆
Holy moly, once again there is an incredible amount of action and drama and just when you think things are calming down—bang! things heat up again and bedlam is to be had, but what an exciting and entertaining storyline. This is another excellent story by this wonderful author who keeps the thrills spinning and our heart rates pumping!
This book was the only one that didn't have life-threatening secrets. There was information kept between the h and H, but it wasn't nearly as angsty. It was wonderful to have jobs find his forever, and the romance was heart melting. He was truly the most romantic so far. The pace kept moving as nicely as previous books, and the h was in jeopardy, which, again, was Nyssas trope but also the way of the plotline. It was different to have the threat come from left field, although it was the same evil plan. I'm getting closer to how Nyssa has put all this altogether, and I'm still not sure how it's going to end. There were some side characters introduced which made for more suspense and worry. And there was a close call or two that I held my breath for. Quinn is a sassy, confident, kickass h and is just right for jobs. I can't wait to see how the big man is going to be bought down. Clever twist and a tricky turn here and there just made it awesome Grace Grant is a narrator I really like, and for Quinns character, I felt it was a perfect fit. Michael Gallagher is new, but I so enjoyed his voice. Throughout the previous novels, Wyatt's voice has been with a lighter inflection. Not as gravelly. So Michael did a great job slipping into the role. I'm looking forward to Maya and Bodie. It'll be the same trope, but oh, so different.
We are back with the men of Marble Protection. Former Navy SEALs, that were signed up by their Commander to be part of Project Arma all thinking that it would help make them better soldiers. But in fact it was more than that . The DNA of these men was altered, changing their lives forever. As they try to track down the man who continues to bring danger to them and those they love, these men are finding strong women who will become their lifelong partners. Quinn Ross is one of these women. Quinn, sister of Mason, one of the founders of Marble Protection, is a journalist. She left NYC for Marble Falls to spend time with her brother, after being fired because of her latest investigation. The moment Quinn meets her neighbor, Wyatt Gray another member of Marble Protection, the attraction is mutual and immediate. As someone seems to want Quinn dead and the group realizes her investigation is connected to the men of Marble Protection, the danger increases as does the relationship. Will they be able to keep Quinn alive? If they do, will Quinn and Wyatt find their HEA or will Quinn go back to NYC? Another great addition to the series. I was entrusted a copy of this book. I really enjoyed this latest book in the Project Arma series. It is fast paced, well-written, and keeps the reader totally engaged in the story and the series.
This is the story of Wyatt and Quinn. Wyatt, of course, is one of the original soldiers in Project Arma and Quinn is the sister of his teammate, Mason. The story revolves around Quinn (a journalist for a major N.Y. newspaper) and her research into the rumors of a secret group of medically enhanced super-soldiers. As a result of her research, Quinn became the target of the group developing the super soldiers.
Wyatt, her next door neighbor and unknown to Quinn, is one of those super soldiers. He knows who she is but pretends otherwise and is determined to keep her safe from those trying to shut her up permanently.
Wyatt and Sages's story is a thriller of a romance with, of course, a HEA. AND, as with the other books in her series, the author leads you right into the next one. Don't get me wrong....it's Not a cliffhanger, you just get a glimpse of her next main characters. Wyatt is another must read by Nyssa Kathryn, especially if you read the other books in the series. They all tie together wonderfully (but each could also stand on its own).
Wyatt is a former SEAL that owns Marble Falls Security with his former SEAL teammates. He is the IT expert of the team. He and his team have been investigating and searching for those behind Project Arma, top secret rogue government project that was suppose to enhance soldiers abelites and help them with recovery time after missions. Quinn is an investigative reported who has been fired from her NYC job for looking into a robbery. She cannot figure out what is so special about this crime that has her boss firing her. She is determined to find out what and who is really behind the robbery of the pharmacy. Quinn is also the sister to Mason, one of Wyatt business partners and friends. She moves to Marble Falls once her savings runs out but she continues looking into the pharmacy crime. When Quinn's life is threatened and it's apparent that the burglary is related to Project Arma, Wyatt is there to protect her.
Love this book! Another great action packed well written story in the Project Arma series. The author does an awesome job of developing likeable characters with depth. This is an edge of your seat type book that I read in one day! I also love the original story line.
I received a review copy of this book from the author. I am voluntarily leaving a review.
Investigative journalist Quinn Ross isn’t a woman who can just let major news pass her by. So, when she stumbles across a story like no other, she makes it her mission to report it to the masses. When Quinn suddenly finds herself in need of escape, she heads straight for tiny Marble Falls and her brother, Mason. The men of Marble Protection are former Navy Seals that were betrayed by their commander in an attempt to create super solders. When he’s not running his company’s IT department, Wyatt Gray, is trying to find the people who betrayed him and the team. When he meets Quinn who has moved into her brother’s apartment, just across from his, the attraction between them is instant. They both have secrets but none of this will matter when someone sets their sights on Quinn and then the team and Wyatt are intent on protecting her. Each book concentrates on a different couple and there are lots of subplots and challenges along the way. Quinn is a strong female character and very feisty and holds her own in helping the guys from Marble Security uncover information that will lead them to seeking justice from those who forced the unsanctioned super-soldier drug trial onto them. I would highly recommend you read these books in order to get the best out of each story and plot. As always, this is a brilliant read.
This is is a great read. It’s the 5th in this series and features smart and hunky Wyatt. He is the genius and IT man of the group. He gets a new neighbor too. Spunky, beautiful and funny Quinn is a recently fired investigative reporter and sister to team mate Mason. These two begin meeting every morning in Wyatt’s apartment for coffee because he has the coffee pot and Quinn has an addiction to coffee and likes the smart sweet coffee maker. Quinn lost her job when she refused to stop investigating the murder of scientists at a pharmaceutical company close to her job. She moves small town America because of her brother and the free rent of his apartment to regroup. When the boss that fires her shows up to make sure she’s dropped the investigation and begins threatening her things get dicey. Of course she hasn’t dropped it and is talking with a survivor of the massacre in New York. The team and their women are on hand and of course more of the “bad” soldiers are on hand. This book is action packed, suspenseful and steamy and you won’t be able to put it down.
