Fierce witches. Necromancers. Soul reapers. Mysterious dragons. Secret councils. Forbidden alliances. The Under Realm Academy awaits.
Senior year at Under Realm Academy. Perfect, right? Should be, but isn’t. Second semester. Stuff just got complicated. One kiss. Jeez. Was that all it took to push her life into a whole new level of complication? Moira Bloodworth’s got more than an ally in Aidan Grimsbane, that same jerk who should never have kissed her. Is it bad she doesn’t regret that kiss?
Under Realm’s got an explained murder on its hands and Moira’s worried that someone will make the connection between her and the victim. As if that’s not bad enough, it seems like Aidan might think she’s a suspect? No way.
Caution: Cliffhangers, violence can be found in this series of action-packed fantasy including necromancers, hot dragons, and fierce witches.
There are so many repetitive statements about what happened in book 1. It’s unnecessary to remind the reader so often of the situation the character is going through, we the reader are reading the book and it should be understood we already read book one and know what is going on. I don’t need to be reminded every chapter. It feels like page fillers to be honest.
it was ok, i really dont like the h she was constantly just saying how unfair everything was even though it was shown in the book and to the h that she has been getting special treatment because of her last name and other then things that where her own doing, nothing had really changed for her but still she kept almost whining how unfair life was for her. :|
Continuing from book 1 this delved reaper into the changes within all of the characters. There is a hint at future books involving some unexplained deaths and hints to the past for the heroine. I’ll be continuing with the series
Trying to find out more about her dragon father ,Moira and Aiden meet who she thinks might be a cousin dragon from another academy. This cousin tries to blackmail her and ends up dead. Her great uncle also is murdered.
Quite enjoying this series. Rated them at 5. But really, the English is dreadful, bring instead of take, failure to follow the John and I rule, and others.
I am invested in this series of stories. I am kind of sad that Calder and Moira did not make that love connection. I was not shocked about Aidan though. I am curious about what's up with Moira's dad and mom and what really happened. I guess I'll have to keep reading.
