Teaching His Babygirl is a daddy-dom and little-sub story, full of spice and a dash of plot. When Darlene gets a new teaching job at a school, she is eager to find a club to suit her needs. On her first visit to a local club, she meets Colt, a charming Daddy. The two spend a night together and plan to meet again next week. However, the next day when Darlene starts work, she is shocked to find that Colt is the principal at her new school. Determined to keep her distance and not give in to their growing connection, Darlene makes it clear to Colt that she wants to remain professional. However, the two can't seem to stay away from each other and quickly succumb to their mutual desires.

I've never been super into Daddy Dom and Little Sub kink, however, I enjoyed it here. I like that there wasn't any age play, admittedly, I'm not a huge fan and I think if there was any, I wouldn't like how it would play out considering the MCs are also boss/employee. This is 100% a smut-first plot-second story, so if you're going into this expecting substance, don't. That being said, sometimes good smut is all you need!

This one had some drama, steamy moments and DADDY KINK!!!!
I think if your not to sure about daddy kink this one isn't to heavy it has some spankings, daddy. Its pretty tamed in that department. If that's something your looking for. Also... when a romance book has your name you just become so giddy and just DEAD!!

Darlene has moved away and is new in town shes a art teacher and she wants to visit the local bdsm club to see if she likes the environment to play i liked she wasnt new to the scene and she hoped to find a daddy to play with. And on her first night touring she meets Colt a yummy alphaish daddy dom who already is sprung for her and boy their first scene is 💦. And they agree they would see eachother again little did they know Colt is the Principle at the new school Darlene got hired and their reunion was funny and wow Colt would wanna beat down some high schoolers. Colt already made up his mind he doesnt care if they are boss/employee he isnt giving up his girl. So they keep it hush hush until a unwanted student and Stalker force their hand.

Few times i did wanna shake Darlene l and be like GIRL TALK TO YOUR MAN!! When she would pull away but super glad Colt never gave up. We love a alpha who doesnt give up. We also got hints of other characters for this series.. Tessa and Ransom?? I wonder what their past is? So many questions for the next book.

I’m too curvy, too tall, always just too much of one thing or another. With Colt, I feel like his beauty. He makes me feel special. It’s a heady feeling.

This is how sex clubs, consent and daddy kink are done!

Every book I’ve ever read about this area has never given the why behind all of the kink. A true daddy cares for his baby girl and knows exactly what she needs, why she needs it and wants to build her up to a beautiful height. Rory Reynolds gets the why behind the kink and I think anyone in this lifestyle would be proud of her story. It’s not about trapping someone and forcing them to act out your fantasies. It’s about one person seeing the value in another and bringing that out.

There was still a side story and drama between all the hot sex and swooning moments and it didn’t drag out too long either.

I will be reading more from this author!

This book had just the right amount of daddy kink in it, it wasn't too heavy and Darlene didn't act like she was a five year old which drive me NUTS with these type of books. She could separate herself in her everyday life and her bedroom proclivities with just a tiny bit of blurring the lines which is fine. I just like that she is an actual woman making a conscious choice that this is what she wants. With so many of these daddy dom books I feel like the woman is emotionally stunted and might be getting taken advantage of. It's a good read especially if you're just getting into the genre.

Daddy Yum

Perfect blend of daddy sexy and plot with a wonderful cast of supporting characters you'll love as well. Darlene has just moved to town and started a new job. The last thing she needs is for the sexy daddy she meets at The Playground to be her new boss. Worried about rumors she begs for them to keep their relationship a secret and Colt very reluctantly follows along until threats to her safety arise. Loved it and can't wait for the next book. I hope all their friends get their own stories.

Good LAWD, y’all. This freaking book was a five alarm fire in sexiness. All hands on deck if you want THE sexiest mother effing scenes ever for a MF romance! The sensuality? *|*chef’s kiss*|* My favorite sexy scenes are the ones that are passionate and detailed without being cheesy. Not ashamed.

I feel like seal clapping and making that weird honking/barking sound they make. 🤷🏻‍♀️😂 Cuz I LURVED this book so hard.

Well, most of it. Darlene was not my favorite FMC but Colt was EVERYTHING and those sexy scenes made it ALL worth it. 🥵 Those scenes were phenomenal. I’m still kind of shell shocked because it impacted me. Lol The angst kinda bummed me out, but again, Colt saved this story. He was a sexy AF Daddy who did make a few mistakes, but damn. Damn, y’all! I want a Colt, please. 😭

The plot moved quickly and was thrilling and emotional from start to finish. I loved the dynamics in this relationship. It was sweet, sexy, and so passionate. That made the lows super low and the highs super HIGH. I’m anxious for the rest of the series. The writing was perfect.

When Darlene moves to a new town and joins the local club for littles and daddies, she doesn't expect to meet the perfect man straight away. The first problem is when she learns that he is the principal of the school she now works at.
Well-written and enjoyable, plenty of steamy action and a yukky villain.

….why was her name Darlene? Darlene is the haggard waitress at your dilapidated local diner who has been smoking longer than she’s been alive. Every time her name came up I came out of the story a little bit lol

But right now, logic isn’t making any sense. All I can think about are those mutilated images of Colt. I don’t know what Levi Troy is capable of, but I think he might just be crazy enough to hurt Colt if I don’t break up with him.

“What if he can’t?” I ask quietly. “What if I just get us both hurt?”
“You’re about to do something insane like break up with him, aren’t you?”
“What other choice do I have?”

Literally so many fucking choices. Anything but a break-up that makes no sense.

Up to that point, I was sort of invested in this book. The chemistry between the characters was there, and I thought it's refreshing to have a sexually experienced heroine who knows what she wants. But the second half of the book was essentially a case study in what not to do if you have a stalker. Like, do not break up with your boyfriend out of some misplaced martyr complex. Do not walk home unaccompanied.

Plot: Darlene is new to town and heads to a local bdsm club for some DD/lg play. There she meets Colton, a hot silver fox of a Daddy. They hit it off, but Monday when Darlene goes to her new job as an art teacher and has to escort a couple of students to the principal's office, it turns out that the principal is none other than Colton. This is horrible news because of course she can't start a relationship with her boss! But Colton won't give up so easily, and when she needs him, he is there.

Commentary: I enjoyed this story. There was one weird statement where Colton tells Darlene that he's technically not her boss. As a teacher, I can safely say that yes, the principal is your boss, and there's not a teacher anywhere who would think otherwise. Nor is there a principal who would think that. But other than that, I liked this. Poor girl - so much stress between moving and starting to date Colton, hiding their relationship, and the stalker. It's a wonder she didn't break down for good.

I'll give Rory some credit.....Colt is an absolute hunk and his dirty talk? **chef's kiss**

However, I didn't feel like there was much substance to the relationship he had with Darlene. All she seemed to do was worry about everyone else judging their relationship. They didn't really develop much of anything beyond a shallow attraction to one another since they didn't take any time to get to know each other outside of on a biblical level.

I really wanted to see more from Darlene and Colt as a whole. To me, I know more about Levi Troy than I do either one of them. They feel like an abstract or an idea rather than actual characters, and that was pretty disappointing. They could've been two really good characters with a bit more time taken for them.

Fleeing a Predator and Finding a Loving Protector

23-year-old Ivy should be happily approaching the countdown of her last semester and anticipating college graduation, but instead, she is unhappily and fearfully withdrawing from her final classes needed to graduate. After repeatedly seeking the support and intervention of the college’s security and the town’s police forces, the beautiful, sweetly innocent blue-eyed blonde with long, wavy curls, is packing to return home.

It seems that despite her filing stalking and intimidation complaints and most recently, the report of physical assault, in addition to her reports of inappropriate comments and touching and the evidence of inappropriate texts by her advisor, Professor Lockwood, her complaints were disregarded by the college security forces and the small college town’s police force when she her filed reports and testimony of the tenured professor’s pursuit. So, afraid to stay, even the weeks remaining until graduation and fearful of the escalation by the attention of the teacher who was regarded with respect as a community leader, she has given up, withdrawn from the university, and packed her bags to return home.

Now, back home at her brother Hudson’s house in Monett, her home for the decade since her parents’ death in a car accident, Ivy simply tells her brother that she has had enough of college. She was ready and eager to start her life. And, he doesn’t push her for details about her abrupt return, happy to have his sister home again. But, he does challenge her decision to work as PA for his best friend, Aiden, the successful owner of The Playground, a private, members-only adult sex club featuring daddy dominants and littles, her brother balks, questioning the appropriateness of such employment. But, Ivy is insistent that she’s not working in the club itself, but rather in the office.

Rory Reynolds weaves a tale filled with hot sex and terrifying threats keeping the reader’s emotions on a rollercoaster. I received a review copy, but will enjoy using my Kindle Unlimited account to explore other tales.

Teaching His Babygirl, Book 1 of The Playground series, was about 27-year-old (soon to be 28) Darlene "Dar" Larson, the new head of the art department at Thurston Academy, and Colton "Colt" James, the principal of the same school.
After moving across the country for a new job, Darlene went in search of a new BDSM club that would meet her needs. She enjoyed being a Submissive to a Dominant, but so far the ones she had experienced weren't what she'd been looking for. She looked around on her own while she waited for the person who was to be her guide, and realized The Playground was better than all of the past clubs she had visited. Then when she was introduced to her guide, she was just as enthralled with him as he seemed to be with her, to the point they engaged in a brief scene before he escorted her to her car.
The following Monday was the first day of school, for her and the kids attending the school. When two boys were inappropriate with her during class, she sent them to the principal's office and then met them there, only to realize that the Dominant guide from the club was the principal...and her new boss.
This was a fun story, full of angst, drama, spice, and a touch of intrigue. The usual rollercoaster of emotions wasn't as full of twists and turns as these types of books usually are, but it had enough to remain interesting until the end.
Both main characters were well-developed and mature, with all the room for growth that they needed. They made a perfect DD/lg couple, and it was made even better with the supporting characters that were sprinkled liberally throughout the book.
An enjoyable story from beginning to end, it easily earned a five-star rating and a place in the Keeper for the Shelves collection. What a wonderful beginning to what I hope will be a fantastic series.

Really Enjoyable Read

This was a really enjoyable read.

Whilst it does hint at some age play in the roles of Daddy and Little they are quite mild and focus more on the caregiving side such as choosing a meal when out rather than full on age regression some may expect. Usually only hinting at the dynamic would be a put off for me but in the case of this book it worked really well and added to the story.

Darlene meets Colt in a BDSM club and they hit it off really well - literally! They plan to see each other again only for Darlene to find out Colt is the Principal at the school she just got a job at. They decide to keep their relationship under wraps but things happen which threaten not only their relationship but their safety too.

I loved the twists and turns in this book. The elements of danger and the way the males (for the most part) rallied together to be protective in a Daddy way. It added to the feeling of the BDSM scene being a community and a family which is always nice.

I have Kindle Unlimited, so when a favorite author recommended this book, I thought I would give it a try.

I liked it. There are some slightly over the top moments (first day of class for example) but overall it is a good read. I liked the characters. Several characters are introduced that are in need of their own story (which I will eagerly await). Darlene was really, really anxious to have anyone find out about her relationship with Colt and it did drag to story out a bit.

As I am not in the lifestyle, I was a little confused between Darlene's distinction that she is a Little but not in to ageplay. I had equated LIttles with ageplay - hence my confusion. She likes spanking and discipline and that is what Cole gives her, So, I guess it doesn't matter what it is called as long as both parties accept it.

Overall, enjoyable read and I will be reading the future books in this series.

Daddy saves the day!

Strong, handsome, school principal, Colt, meets "an angel"- sweet, pretty, "little", art teacher, Darlene at the club and has a wonderful life changing night, only to find out the next day that they work together. There's suspense and stalker danger, but Daddy and his friends save the day! Yay! Make sure to download the bonus book too. Soooooo, good.

The cons are that we get physical details wildly nilly throughout this story. It's not until the end that you find out Colt is a "silver fox", and things like that. I like to have a picture in my head of the main characters while I'm reading.

Then there's the fact that Colt doesn't seem to understand the negative gossip that will flow about her, through this story. You're dealing with children, and as teachers your reputations have to be irreproachable, or there will be serious problems.

3 stars. This was cute and super steamy. It was pretty fun even though it took a turn into being serious at the end. I thought the writing was pretty good and I liked how it was paced as it made for a quick read. However, I didn’t really like the heroine, Darlene. She was paranoid and whiny and she just really got on my nerves. The hero, Colt, was great though. Loved him and all of his dominant ways. Their relationship was cute and the smut was really damn good. I definitely plan on reading more by this author and I think this was a solid place to start.

This was so good. This is a DD/lg book with lots of steam. Colt and Darlene are absolutely perfect for each other. When they first meet, their connection is instantaneous and so strong. When Darlene becomes a member at The Playground, her first night is to get a tour. Colt is filling in for his friend tonight and is not really happy doing it, until he sees Darlene. He has been wanting a serious relationship, and he knows Darlene will be the perfect lg for him. Neither of them were expecting Darlene to be the new teacher at the school that Colt is the principal of. There is some suspense in there and the chemistry that Colt and Darlene have is undeniably hot as heck. Check this out and see if Colt and Darlene can make it through the obstacles they have in front of them.

The title is completely misleading because there really is no teaching of the little girl, Darlene, except she is a school teacher. I found the first part to drag on and on as there was one sex scene after another and very little storyline to hold them together.When the stalker appears then it gets much more interesting. Other reviewers have disliked Darlene saying she was too whiny however since she was in a Daddy Little Girl relationship I can see why she didn’t want her fellow teachers to know because people are not as accepting of BDSM relationships. There is no age play which was great as far as I am concerned. Colt was a good Daddy to his Little Girl even when she was full of doubts about the relationship. I would probably have given it 3 ½ stars because the writing is fine.

Ms. Reynolds has weaved a cute story that is so engaging I couldn’t put the book down until the end. If you like DD/lg books, this is a great book to read. Now I’m waiting for the next book in the series.
Yes, their connection was instant and powerful from the first moments, that spark grabbed my attention from their first meeting, to the very end of the story. Will Colt convince Darlene to be his babygirl for all time?
The world and characters this author are able create are so realistic and emotionally complex, the reader feels like they are part of the story.
This book contains some BDSM – it is also a romance with a HEA.

Teaching His Babygirl was sweet and sexy! Darlene just moved to a new town and visiting The Playground she meets Colt and they have this instant connection. Starting her new teaching job she runs into Colt again, as her new boss. I loved Darlene and Colt. I loved that he was determined to make their relationship work, no matter what. It was well written with great characters and the storyline was nicely done. I'm looking forward to other characters stories... Melinda, Tessa, Jasper and Coops hopefully ;)

new beginnings

Darlene found her dream job teaching art only down side she was leaving her best friend behind. She arrived early before starting her job to get to know the town & to checkout The Playground a private club. When her guide arrived to show her around she immediately felt her little get excited & she felt a spark/daddy vibe when next to Colt. They ended the tour in a private room with a scene together; Darlene had no expectations & would be happy to see colt again next weekend. Little did she know she’s going to be surprised on Monday morning.

Overall, okay. I'm really excited for the rest of the couple's in this series, though! Darlene (h) was okay, her only flaw was her wishy-washy feelings. I understand why she was like that, but for me it just didn't work out the best. Sleep with H, then tell him no more, sleep with him again, then tell him no more, then repeat throughout the rest of the book. Colt (H) was a big plus for this book!

Plus, holy cow was this book steamy!! 5 stars for the steam!
