R. Cohen's debut novel is about a woman who must suddenly face all her fears and find her way again. Nina Allard is a successful professor and author who is committed and dedicated to her work. She has a successful career, well-respected in her field, has a great family and friends, and boyfriend who wants nothing more than to marry her and start a family. Nina has her life all together, or so it seems. On the surface, it appears Nina has the perfect life, but a life changing event forces her to reexamine herself and relationships. This novel is about the difficult choices we have to unexpectedly make, about navigating parental relationships long after we've grown up, about pushing the boundaries of love, and about never forgetting who we are.

Remember Her is the debut novel of the author R Cohen. Nina Allard is a dedicated professor and author who is working on her book and have to finish it soon according to editor's deadline. Nina is an elder child of her parents. Her sister Selena lives in New York. Being the first child of her parents, Nina was more of a favorite of her mother.
Nina is in a long term relationship with Michael who wants Nina to finish her book quickly so he could get back the Nina he met years ago. All Michael wanted is to marry Nina and have kids. But her book completion tension comes in between sometimes.
Grab a copy of this book and read it yourself to find out what choices Nina has to make in her life. Language of the book is simple so it was easy to understand. Cover photo is nice with a suitable title. I enjoyed every bit of this novel. Add it to your tbr right away.

This story is quite different from the romance novels I’ve read. I wasn’t quite sure where it was going at first, so I kept making predictions based on my previous experience with romance novels. The book never failed to surprise me because my predictions were almost always wrong. I like that this book focuses on overcoming trauma and allows the characters to heal.
The love interest is charming and sweet. His interactions with Nina made me feel warm and fuzzy. I also like how cute their banter is in their scenes together. The only thing I wish is that we could see more of them. Maybe someday we’ll get to see them walk down the aisle.
