Fed up with always feeling one step behind, Quinn is determined to find out who is trying to annihilate all of Bullard’s team. Only the trail takes him to Izzie, Bullard’s niece. The team knows the saboteur was someone close to Bullard, and Izzie had had a hell of a fight with Bullard the last time they spoke. But how involved was she in this plane crash? He didn’t want to think badly of her, but, at this point in time, he was looking at everyone with suspicion.

Izzie is also suspicious of everyone. She’s been to hell and back, all because she was stubborn and angry at Bullard, but she’d never do anything to hurt him. Not knowing anything about the last few months’ trials, she’s horrified to find out why Quinn sought her out. Then he’s horrified when he finds out what happened to her. Working on healing her own soul, she’s desperate to help Quinn find out who attacked the team and potentially killed her uncle.

If she can do anything to help, she will, particularly if it gives her a chance to make amends to the one man who’s always been there for her.

They’re Getting Close!

But not close enough yet! This is a very exciting story where the team is getting ever closer to finding out what happened to Bullard. There are still a lot of obstacles in the way, as in people trying to kill members of Bullard’s team. The team seems to get closer as they eliminate those threats one by one, but the truth and Bullard’s whereabouts are still very elusive.

The suspense surrounding the storyline in this series is fabulous! I love each of the team members’ connection to each other and all the action they seem to be involved in without really trying. They don’t start the fight, but they sure do finish it!

As each intricate clue is discovered, I am impatiently excited as to what is revealed and how it relates to the puzzle that is Bullard. I love Quinn’s gentle determination to help Izzy recover from her abusive ex and to show her, by example, that not all men are abusers. It doesn’t take long for her to find her spunk and get onboard to help with locating news of Bullard.

A great deal of intrigue, mayhem and murder surround Bullard’s loyal team who are very determined to find him, or at the very least, what happened to him.

Talk about edge of your seat reading. Plenty of action, more questions and determination. Quinn finds Izzy and together they and Ryland escape shooters, hitmen and everything inbetween. TW//CW abuse, brutality, death, murder, sexual abuse, sexual content

This is Quinn's story, his journey with the team to find Bullard and who's responsible for the attack and there's also a cute romance too here between Quinn and Izzie. It's full of action, attack after attack, bad guys in every corner. Sweetness here and there with cute banter between Izzie and Quinn. Great action story with loveable characters. It's fun, it makes me smile, it got me at the edge of my seat, so yeah of course I like it.
But the most important thing is we're getting closer, finally...finally we will reach the peak, I can see the ending in the horizon. There's still the big bad guy boss mystery, but we're getting there,
and that epilogue...OMG...can't wait to read the next book.

If you're looking for romantic suspense read, I highly recommended this series.

So he determines to work out how involved she was in the plane crash - he really doesn't want to think badly about her but has to consider everyone. Izzie is suspicious of everyone as she has been to hell and back all because she was stubborn but she'd never do anything to hurt him. Having no clue about what the team have been through in the last few months she is totally horrified that is why Quinn has sought her out. But when Quinn learns about what has happened to her he is equally horrified. Izzie is determined to keep concentrating on healing her own would but also in helping Quinn to work out who was responsible for what has happened to Bullard and the team. She will do anything to help as part of making amends to the one man who has always been there for her. Can they make any more progress?

I really enjoyed this story which helped the team to move forward a little with their investigation as well as reconnect with Izzie and understand what happened between her and Bullard and why it happened. She was someone who became really strong after realising what had happened and how to improve things. I loved how supportive Quinn was and how non-judgemental he was on what happened and making sure that she was able to do what was right for her over anything that he might have wanted. Well written, easy to read and understand, I couldn't put it down and stayed up late as I was so close to finishing it. Contains a little sexual content at the end.

This is the seventh book in this series, and the intrigue is rapidly building up. All members of Bullard’s team are leaving their posts to return to the compound. They have decided to put all of their attention and energy into finding Bullard and the people who are orchestrating these attacks. Meanwhile, whoever is behind these attacks is pulling out all of the stops in their attempts to kill everybody in Bullard’s team.

Quinn’s mission is to search for Bullard’s niece, Izzie. Bullard had treated her like his own daughter. She had lived with him in the compound until they had an argument about her new boyfriend. They have been estranged ever since.

Bullard’s team members are seriously concerned about Izzie’s safety. They even have fears that her estrangement might possibly have something to do with Bullard’s disappearance. Therefore, Quinn looks for her. When he finds her, he discovers that, since she has been away from Bullard, Izzie has been through some traumatic experiences of her own.

Meanwhile, there is a wonderful romance between Quinn and Izzie. Izzie has PTSD from her traumatic experiences. She has spent the last year in therapy while learning to be able to defend herself from any attacks.

Quinn is the perfect man for Izzie. His patience, kindness and understanding helps Izzie gain confidence and strength. Together they fight back at people who are continuously attempting to kill them.

This is a page-turner that will keep the reader on the edge of their seat until the very end of the book!

Another great standalone book in Dale Mayer's "Bullard's Battle" series.
The search for Bullard continues, Bullard and some of his Bullard's Private Security team were blown from the sky over the ocean, his body has never been found but his team are convinced that he is still alive.
Although the team have followed various clues they have all come to a dead end. Quinn Santos and Ryland Roscoe had decided to track down Bullard's niece, Izzie, Bullard had treated Izzie as a daughter since she was a little girl but they had had a fight because he didn't approve of her boyfriend, Dracon,.
and Izzie was too stubborn to admit that he was right, Dracon was to beat, rape and keep Izzie handcuffed to a wall.
Izzie managed to escape and Quinn and Ryland tracked her down only to find that the people who tried to murder Bullard were also looking for Izzie, Kingdom Securities was trying to tie up all the loose ends and taking out all Bullard's team was a priority, they wanted a monopoly on security but who was their boss ? and where was Bullard ?
This story follows the clues but the bad guys are always a step in front, is there a traitor in the team ? This book is action packed, the body count is high and love blossoms between Izzie and Quinn.
A great story and I look forward to reading Bullard's story in the next book.

When Quinn and Ryland set out all they have is an address, the address belongs to Bullard's niece Izzie. Not that they think she had anything to do with Bullard's disappearance but they need to find her. A neighbor tells them more than they expected and with them furious at what they see in the apartment, they need to see Izzie and soon.

Fortunately Kano has a phone number and they arranged to meet with her. As she explains what happened a year ago they realize they need to speak with the ex-boyfriend. It will give Izzie closure as well.

That whole thing doesn't end well for Dracon, and Quinn stays with Izzie at her actual apartment. Their conversations don't really show any romance but there could be some attraction growing. Of course all of that was too easy and the next morning brings a surprise package.

Needless to say Wagner gets called again, and isn't happy. Izzie has a few words for him as well about the cops and the lack of attention the report she filed against Dracon got and they way she was treated as though it was all made up.

The guys are trying to get her to the compound where it would be easier to keep her safe but she just can't do it.

There is just so much going on, and there's plenty of action as Quinn and Izzie get closer and the attraction becomes more obvious.

I really can't wait for the next book in this series.

Bullard's team are so close to finding out who is behind the original attack as well as the ongoing attacks on the team, no one wants to think Izzie Bullard's niece who he treated like a daughter he never had. When Quinn and Ryland finally track down Izzie there are some shocking revelations on what she has been through making them want to protect her while continuing on their mission and Quinn reinforcing to Izzie she controls her life not what happened to her. Izzie most certainly has a fire in her which we see often along with stubbornness, guilt for what happened to her and the need to see Bullard and eat humble pie with how right he was about her choices. You really feel things ramping up with how close they are getting and taking out the few men remaining between them and the master mind behind everything, although what they learn also has you concerned about what will happen when they do get to the top and will there be betrayals they didn't see coming! I sooo can not wait for the next book and see what is install for Bullard as well as finally get the answers about what triggered all of this and by who!!!

Quinn is joined by Ryland when he gets a tip that leads him to Isabella's last known address. Both are Bullard's men and attempting to find the people who are responsible for the plane crash where Bullard is still missing. All these men are being hunted still, yet are determined to get answers. Both men highly doubt Izzie(who is Bullard's niece) is part of the plot but they need to check every lead. Bullard and Izzie had been very close while he had taken care of her while her dad (Bullard's half brother) was being held prisoner and even after his release. However Izzie and Bullard had a huge fight the last time they were together. When Quinn and Ryland find her apartment it's in a run down area, a total mess and she is not there. They search for her and find another world of questions and danger. Her history, her fears, her needs all play into this story. Many topics are addressed here including need for redemption, revenge, self control, feelings of guilt and, of course, love, honor and healing. Interesting and well done! The end of this tale hints at the finding of Bullard and I can't wait to read the next book.!

This is the 7th book in the Bullard Battle series. Bullard is the owner of a security company based in Africa. He went missing after the plane he was on blew up over the ocean. Bullard’s team is in pursuit of the person responsible. They know the attack on Bullard was the first step in trying to take over his company as well as his rival Kingdom Security. The clues keep pointing to someone close to them, but they don’t want to believe it. Quinn sets out to investigate the next clue which is an address where Bullard’s niece Izzy lived. Quinn gives Izzy a call and they meet at a cafe. They decide to go back to the apartment where she was held a prisoner. This sets off a chain of events and nonstop action. While Izzy and Quinn keep getting attacked, the attackers that fail at taking them out are killed by their own men. The book ends with the team being taunted by a message “see you in the South Pacific”. I can’t wait for the next book in the series to see what happens in the South Pacific.

Wow, we are ever so close to finding out who blew up Bullard's plane and has been after his team but is there a traitor in the midst? Quinn is the last man standing at least he hasn't been injured while being targeted. He follows a lead that takes him to Bullard's niece, Izzy. Izzy hasn't had it easy and she did have a blowout with Bullard a year ago. Quinn works with the team to unravel the clues that have Izzy smack in the thick of the saboteur's plans. Izzy is still healing from the trauma she suffered at the hands of her ex-boyfriend. As bodies pile up and they come closer to finding out who the head guy is, the more Izzy and Quinn surprise each other and fall into a relationship. Will they find Bullard before the bad guys do? I can't answer that because that will come in the next book.

This book was a page-turner with a lot of twists and turns. Izzy is a bit like Bullard and her past with her father isn't a clear-cut one. She is a survivor though and she fits into Quinn's life more than she realizes. She is dealing with her past and she is a strong character with a sense of humor. Quinn is perfect for her. Can't wait to see how this all ends.

Almost there to finding out who is trying to get rid of Bullard and his team and this time, it’s a family member that has been estranged from Bullard, his niece Izzie. The two had a falling out and Quinn goes to find her when one of the clues leads him straight to her door. Izzie has been through a lot and in the past year she has put herself back together, her ex did a number on her and now she finds out that Bullard is missing and could be dead. She will do what it takes to find the person responsible and teams up with Quinn to flush out the perpetrators. As the two and few other team members try to get a step ahead of this mess, Quinn and Izzie find themselves drawn to each other….now all is left is to find Bullard.
A good read with some steam, some action and suspense and great characters. I liked these two and the flow of the story. More clues are provided and I can’t wait to read what happened to Bullard and who the betrayer is.

This is an exciting action packed suspense filled story with romance too.Quinn and Ryland decided to go find Villages niece Izzy.Quinn doesn't believe she's involved but they need to check on her to make she s safe.When they got to the address last listed for her but Quinn can't believe Izzy would be living in a dump like this.They go an knock on the door .A neighbor comes out an says who are you when Quinn says they are looking for Izzy she's a friend of their she says he helped her get away from the abusive boyfriend a year ago.Quinn saw red just thinking someone put their hands on Izzy they check out the apartment an its full of trash its disgusting. They call Mano an get a phone number for her when she answers Quinn asks her to meet them she finally agrees. After they talk to Izzy they decide she needs to face her abuser.She looks scared an that really makes Quinn angry.She's not the strong confident woman he remembers.There are so many twists an turns to this story you will be riveted til the very last page.

Quinn Santor and Ryland go in search of Bullard’s niece. Intel had given them an address, leading them to her. Seemed to be another dead end. Or so they thought until they found out more about the man who lived there…Izzie’s ex-boyfriend.
Isabella “Izzie” had a year to recover from her time with Dracon. No longer a victim, she was stronger now. And hopefully wiser, too. It was good to see the men who worked for her uncle, but sad to find out he might be dead. She hadn’t left things good with him and had a lot of guilt over it.
This fast-paced action story has them getting closer to the man who has been trying to kill off Bullard’s team…and who had arranged for the plane carrying Bullard to blow up. So close, but yet too far. Looking forward to the next book in this series!

(4.5) Enjoyed this for the plot, the snippets of information coming through and the friendship/romance that grew through this story line. This series has been awesome in giving you the stepping stones with red herrings as you follow the trail of what happened to Bullard. Izzie has had some troublesome times and inner core strength. Quinn and Ryland were piecing together all the info and following the trail to Izzie. We ran into the ugly side of human nature, where greed rules all. Snipers, shootings, death as this series gets closer to a conclusion. Each story has its own HEA with strings weaving them all together to carry you through. Does anyone else think it might be Izzies dad? At times I think so, than I think no, there will be redemption. Beyond him, I am totally clueless. Thank you Dale Mayer, Booksprout for the arc. I freely share my thoughts and opinions.

This book brings us another step closer to finding Bullard after the plane he was flying explodes mid-air. Is he alive or dead? Some of his team survived so it's possible he did to.

Quinn is given info about Izzie, Bullard"s niece, which suggests she may be involved with the plane crash so he must hunt her down and question her. Quinn finds out she had been kidnapped, assaulted and managed to escape and is just now beginning to heal.

Lots of gun play with several dead guys. Quinn and Izzie are targeted and according to several of the bad guys they manage to capture their Boss wants them both dead. So they are running for their lives while trying to find more clues about Bullard's where abouts.

Is it bad to be excited that the end is in sight for Bullard and his team. Although i am on edge to find out who the heck is wanting them all dead. After this last read my mind and gut is so saying its Dave for some reason. I really cant think of anyone else.

Quinn is on the edge to find out what on earth is going on. They find Bullard's niece's last known address but she hasn't been there for over a year. When they do catch up with her, they find it wasn't a happy story for her and the true reason she was with her ex. With the bad guy catching them up all the time, it seems Isabelle and Quinn's lives are in danger. The bad guy wont stop until he has kingdom securities and Bullard's company firmly under his belt. I truly cant wait for Bullard's story. its going to be an explosive story line.

Getting the team together in one place in order to move on in the search for Bullard and this includes Bullard's niece Izzie but this brings new challenges for all. Izzie had a fight with Bullard so she didn't think she could talk or ask for help from him. When she finds out he is missing and things start to happen around her, she decides to open up and tries to trust Quinn. Quinn who tries to say her uncle would be there for her no matter what take time to sink in. Together they try to stay alive, bring the team together and take steps forward in their relationship and they find a new lead on Bullard. A very strpng friendship is started but can they trust it to move into a relationship they both want?

Following the clues on Bullard's disappearance, Quinn and Ryland look for Bullard's niece Izzie. They are surprised to find out how she lived after her disagreement with Bullard. Quinn is searching for answers of who is behind the attacks on his team and the new information leads him to Bullard's niece Izzy . Quinn wonders if Izzy could be behind the attacks as she had a terrible fight with Bullard . They have not spoken for a long time both being stubborn . The team is still searching for Bullard . Quinn finds not only the team is still in danger but Izzy is also . As they search for more answers Quinn and Izzy grow closer . Can they survive the danger to build a relationship and where is Bullard . This story is action packed and Suspenseful , all out fantastic . This story kept me on the edge of my seat . I highly recommend taking the time to read .

The search continues to find out was behind the attack on Bullard so they can’t afford to leave any lead uninvestigated. It is for this reason that Quinn finds himself trying to locate Bullard’s niece Izzie after the epic disagreement they had shortly before the attack however finding her creates more questions than answers.

Izzie wasn’t aware of what happened to Bullard and his team as she has been waging her own battle since her estrangement from Bullard. She wants to help Quinn and his team and along the way they may just help her get the justice she needs as well.

Izzy has endured so much and has emerged stronger and more resilient while Quinn is so supportive and understanding as they take us on a suspenseful adventure.

Quinn is on mission to find out who is behind the attacks on Bullard and the other members of his team. The trail leads to Bullard's niece Lizzie. When they arrive at her last known address they discover she has been gone for at least a year and they discover some very disturbing evidence in her old apartment. A little more digging and the find her but she is not the same anymore, she was held captive by her ex-boyfriend. He beat her during her captivity and at the first chance to escape she did. Now she needs to face her demons and move on with her life and hopefully there is a place for Quinn in her life. I love this book. The characters are amazing and the story is original. I love the strong female role in this story.

Be gentle to each other

Quinn is an elite operator who works for a special protection agency led by their leader Bullard. Bullard's been missing for weeks after a suspicious explosion blew his plane out of the sky. His team has been searching for him ever since. There's been international adventure searching for clues to his whereabouts. As part of the search, Quinn is now in Africa and Bullard's headquarters. He and his partner, Ryland, are following more hints concerning Bullard's disappearance. As part of their search, they reconnect with Izzie, Bullard's niece. They find Izzie has also been dragged into the mystery surrounding Bullard. Now they are both searching for him for their own reasons. Together they keep clearing their way to Bullard, and each other.

The clues keep coming in and the team is getting closer to finding out who is behind Bullard's plane being blown out of the air. The last clue has led Quinn and Ryland to searching for Bullard's niece, Izzie. Turns out she suffered a horrible experience a year ago and when they find out what had happened to her, they realize that the "boss" has been after Bullard for at least that long. There are more confrontations with the bad guys and Quinn even receives a phone call from the man in charge. Only thing is he doesn't recognize the voice. A phone call that Izzie receives has the team getting ready to follow the trail to Bullard, who is appears may still be alive.

This series just keeps getting better with lots of action and suspense as the team is closing in on who is trying to annihilate Bullard's team. Quinn's trail takes him to Bullard's niece, Izzie. I knew as soon as I started reading that I would not be able to put this page-turner down until I read the last word. I loved the undeniable attraction and chemistry between Quinn and Izzie as they work together to find out who attacked the team and potentially killed her uncle. Quinn's Quest

Quinn was shocked when the next step in the trail of finding who'd sabotaging team. Bullard's niece Izzie comes up on the list, but she's not there and Quinn doesn't like what he finds. When Quinn catches up with Izzie even more bad news is uncovered and Quinn pledged to protect her. As more information is uncovered they realize they are all still in danger and must be very aware. They continue getting closer to the main guy behind the take takeover, with more dead bodies for Wagner. Izzie received a mysterious call that might be the first really good clue about Bullard.

This book is going to keep you right on the edge of your seat while also giving your heart a powerful workout. I really enjoyed Quinn and Izzie's story and I liked them both so much. Excitement, emotion, action, suspense, danger, drama, tension and romance make a thrilling and enticing combination that had me consumed and staying up later than I should have to squeeze in just a few more chapters. An excellent addition to this series and a really terrific read. This is my candid, volitional review.

He is tired of being one step behind the one who seems to be taking out most of the team he is in. He decides to go to find his niece who had a big fallout before he died/killed. She is shocked when she learns that he suspects her and she will do anything to find the one behind it. She has been dealing with some issues and they set about trying to solve the mystery. Who is after the team? Why are they after the team? Can they find them before another death happens? See if they can solve it all

In this book, Quinn is trying to keep Izzie safe. Bullard's niece is a target, right alongside of Bullard's team.
There doesn't seem to be an end to the assassins, but Quinn and Ryland are doing what they can to help drop the numbers.
Izzie has had nothing but grief since her argument with Bullard, and her ex is a huge part of that.
Together, Quinn and Izzie are starting to help the team unravel everything, and hoping it will bring them to Bullard.. Alive.
