When brute force isn’t enough, desperate men make desperate choices.
Elite assassin Reed Montgomery has set his sights on his greatest enemy—the sadistic criminal mastermind, Aiden Phillips. Surrounded by a team of vigilantes as ruthless and determined as himself, Reed only needs to know where to strike.
An orchestrated encounter with a shadowy informant gives Reed the information he needs: The secrets to bringing Aiden down lie in rural Colombia, where the heart of Aiden’s operation beats in secret.
Reed is ready and willing to carry his war across international borders, but the jungles of Colombia are a dark and violent place, and Aiden will unleash hell to protect his empire.
As everything spins out of control, Reed refuses to take his foot off the gas.

Fantastic! Plenty of action, that is for sure. Reed even gets a surprise early on. Reed's goal is to take out Aiden., the person responsible for his father's death. Wolfgang and Lucy also want to see Aiden dead. Like it or not, they need to work together. Surprisingly Winter. the person that refused to help Reed before, wants to help them. Aiden's main base of operations is in Columbia, not exactly a vacation spot. To destroy that base, they also need to deal with the drug lord. Good news is, Reed is no longer on the FBI's most wanted list. Bad news is he has now been classified as a domestic terrorist to be killed on sight.
This series, and this book in particular, really require the context that only comes from starting at the beginning. This is not a series you can jump into the middle of. Having said that, this may be the weakest novel, stretching the limits of believability, even for fiction.
As usual with Logan Ryles it’s edge of your seat action. You can see that Reed lives on the edge of right and wrong but you still find yourself routing for him and the other characters. Another great book. Thanks.
Fun to read, some of the action seems kind of hard to believe but it still keeps you reading to find out how Reed gets out of the situations he finds himself in. I am looking forward to the conclusion this fall.
Really enjoyed this book, but sad as I am now on the last book, I would recommend these books to anyone wanting a centralised character Reed Montgomery is tight up there with Jack Reacher, John Milton which is high praise
Well if you want high octane reading…follow Montgomery Reed…no shortage of thrills on his ride…all action..no mercy…which I like…fed up with people giving second chances….Reed…Nah….gone….so looking forward to continuing the adventure…..bring it on …
I couldn't see how it could get any better but it did. Thrilling, from cover to cover. So glad I bought the whole series, wouldn't have missed this adventure for anything. Highly recommended

I read all six books in about a week. They are very interesting and dynamic in their construction. I couldn't stop reading them. I got hooked on the theme and the characters. This author is great.
Anyone who enjoys a book with twists and turns in every chapter will enjoy the adventures of Montgomery Reed and his friends. Roll on the next instalment.
Logan has great talent and the intertwining of characters is admirable. Such great transitions from one area to another. Never skips a beat. Looking forward to more!
Oh my goodness, Reed Montgomery says he does his best work on the fly… and since this book ended with a cliff hanger and a lot of bananas, I can’t wait for book 7!
