Lust is the beginning of retribution for past sins!!
Kat is one woman that you don’t want to mess with! I love how bad@&$ she is! Now that she has taken care of Micheal and gained what was taken from her back, she is onto rectify the rest of the wrongs that were done.
Back in the Envy trilogy I wasn’t sure how much I really liked her, but she completely changed my mind in Lust.
Strong independent female, action, a bit of sexual angst, and a huge cliffhanger; everything a reader could want!!
I would totally recommend though that you start at the beginning with Wrath trilogy and even Inland Seas series, that way you understand who everyone is and what is going on.
Can’t wait to see what’s next!!!

This is one of my favorite book series and believe me I have read a lot. If you have been reading this series then you know what I am talking about. If you haven't then you need to start from book one Wrath and be prepared to read nonstop because this series is that good. Kat is such a strong character and although I didn't really like her at first she has grown on me and I love how determined she is. This story is filled with danger, suspense, action, unexpected twists, great characters, and a huge cliffhanger that left me speechless. I can't wait to read the next book in this series to find out what happens next. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.

And we are back in Chicago! After the revelations at the end of the Envy trilogy, I think most of us were left with our jaws wide open.

Now we get to see the aftermath and discover how Kat will navigate her new role and life. I can't wait for everything to be revealed but I am still fearful that something bad is coming. Once again, I am cheering for characters that I shouldn't cheer for, I am holding my breath as I anxiously wait for the other shoe to drop...because I can tell it's coming.

I have a feeling Kat is going to the mafia world upside down...or is she just being played? I am off to read book two because I can't wait to find out what is truly going on.

All I can say is, I’m glad that these books release such a short time apart because I don’t know if I could stand the suspense of finding out what happens next for very long. This book is intriguing. Finding out a little bit more about what is going on with Kat, but also starting to get more information about other characters that have been seen in the rest of the series. Familiar faces from the Inland Seas series crossover too, and I love cameos. I’m lusting after this series because I just want more!!

Lust is the first novel in the third trilogy set within The Deadliest Sin Series by Gwyn McNamee. It picks up with Kat after her big moment at the end of the last novella in the series (no spoilers!).

I really enjoy Kat and her mindset, although like many others in this series, I suspect her desire for revenge is going to be her downfall.

I am also enjoying getting to know Rose more. He's been the mystery leader of Chicago since the beginning almost.

I cannot wait for more of the Lust trilogy! O to Embracing Lust!

Once again we are drawn back into the world of different factions of the mafia and their quest for power and money. Kat is on a mission to prove that she will be victorious in her rise to the top. No one will get in her way to the top as well as avenge her husband's death. A lot of action and secrets spilled in this first story with an ending that is heart pounding. I am really looking forward to the next installment!

Oh my gosh! This series just keeps building. The author then leaves us with a cliffhanger that has us falling??? What are you doing to us Gwyn?

I love this series! I love these Characters! They interconnect with the Pirate characters, and still Cutter is mine!!! I want to know who Rose is. They have so much chemistry. She is determined to find who killed the man she loved. I have so many questions and theories. I can wait to see how it plays out.

I swear that cliffhanger is giving me anxiety so I’ll keep this review short so that I can read the next book.

Kat is on the war path to avenge her husbands death. While searching for his killer, she has to fight off the advances of Rose. Rose, a cartel man desperately wants to do business and more with Kat, but she isn’t interested due to still recovering from her husbands death…

Onto the next book.

The story continues where The Envy series stopped.  Kat is now queen of the castle  and has her work cut out for her.  She has a big agenda and it gets a bit complicated when Rose continues to pursue her.
This looks like it is going to be one heck of a ride!

Lust is the first novella in the Lust Trilogy of the Deadliest Sin Series (#7) by Gwyn McNamee. A series of novellas about five organized crime families, starting in Philadelphia - moving into Chicago and how the seven deadly sins consume their lives.

At first, I wasn’t sure if I liked Kat or not.. but she has absolutely grown on me. She’s an independent, badass, female boss babe who doesn’t take anyone’s crap. She will be victorious in her endeavors and no one is getting in her way. She even earns respect from a surprising someone when they realize she is the one behind the bomb! And just like in Grey’s… we crash.

Gwyn does a great job throughout The Deadliest Sin Series with plotting, character development, and pacing while continuously keeping us on our toes and begging for more.

But we are who and what we are.
