Weightless: This book is full of emotions. Realizations that things aren't always what they seem, and finding the truth that is hidden. So many challenges that mold us into who we are. The weight of life makes us stronger. Such an incredible and relatable story.
A Love Letter to Whiskey: This book is honest and raw. It hurts, it heals. Until I read this book I had never thought as describing love as an addiction, but it is so true. There were so many times and so many ways that B and Jamie's story mimicked or related to my own current relationship. This book is so amazing, but because of the emotional toll it takes, it was a bit of a slower read for me.
Make Me Hate You: "It's you who brings me pain. It's you who is killing me. It's you, and us," I added, motioning between us. "It's this thing that never was, but always is, that never will be and will never not be." Jasmine, Make Me Hate You
This book is real. There is no better way to describe it. It is raw, honest, messy, painful, real life and love. It is everything.
Jasmine is a character that I think most every woman will be able to relate to in some way. She has known a lot of suffering in her life. Tyler, oh Tyler, I had a bit of a love hate relationship with him, but by the end he redeemed himself. Also, Morgan.....I will just say I wish I had a best friend like Morgan.
This book is a must read. It will give you all of the feels. You will laugh, and probably cry (both sad and happy tears). By the end it will leave you feeling satisfied. Talk about a book hangover. Kandi Steiner brought her A game on this one!

have you ever cried because a book felt so real to you?
quite possibly the most relatable book i've ever had the pleasure to read.
I felt every tug and jab Natalie felt as well as the extreme power that learning to love yourself has on someone.
I felt the love that grew for Rhodes because I have my own Rhodes to thank and love me when I otherwise don't love myself.
this book is too powerful for words & it must be shared with the world.

I cannot say enough amazing things about Kandi & her writing. every time I think one of her books is my favorite, the next one tops it! her words jump into my soul and take me for the wildest ride and at the end, I'm sick. in the best way!

Weightless is the first and this is my favorite of the three. This is Natalie's time to learn about herself. After a tough time in high school and being dumped by her boyfriend, she goes to the gym as suggested by her mother to help herself get into shape. It's amazing how what people see of her truly effects her psyche, but with the help of her new trainer, Rhodes, she is on her way. Little does she realize the effect how his relationship with her will help her learn and grow. Nor does he realize what she will bring to him. This is a coming of age, finding your new norm and loving yourself story and is fantastic.
A Letter to Whiskey is next, and this one I had mixed feelings with as I listened. Jamie and B met in high school, best friends and a kiss changes it all. Over the years, their relationship changes, but never sticks. For me at times it was unrealistic. The waiting, the jealousy, and the rebirth of their feelings was a little over the top for me, but when it concluded, I understood. Like Whiskey, with age, it changes, as did Jamie and B.
Make me Hate You finishes out the trilogy and was angsty, yet it won my heart. Tyler and Jasmine were great friends. Growing up Tyler's sister was Jaz's best friend and they were like family. Until a fateful night when they got together and Jaz's life changes forever. Now 7 years later, they are brought back together for a wedding. They both have love lives, but the embers are still burning. Is it enough? I love couples with a history and these two have it. At times it's sad, but rooting for the couple was not too hard!
Pick this up! You will enjoy it. Each narration is fantastic, bringing all the emotions alive. Their performances will tear your heart up and put it back together! I enjoyed each story and you will too!

This collection is three of my favorite books by Kandi. First, let me tell you that I am an avid reader of Kandi Steiner’s work. Do you have that one author that you binge and basically buy whatever they’re selling cause you know you’ll like it regardless? That’s how about I feel about Kandi. If you’re new to her work, I’m sure you’ll quickly feel the same after reading this box set!
Make Me Hate You
I felt this book. Never have I connected with a book like I did this one. I haven’t shared the same experiences. Can’t say I’ve been to the same places or had the same traumas in my life. But I was lost in Jazz’s character and I FELT what she felt. Kandi’s character building and descriptive story telling was so crystal that I was transported to New England and suddenly I was in love with a boy I had never met but as Jazz, I knew my entire life and it was riveting.
I was on the verge of tears with my heart racing through the majority of the book. I couldn’t stop. I couldn’t wait. I HAD to have the happy ending. And I was not expecting the ending we received. And just so you know, Make Me Hate You is my new favorite Kandi Steiner book!

I was enthralled. I was invested. I was consumed. A Love Letter to Whiskey is a beautiful disaster full of love, heartache and growth. I laughed and cried along side of B. I couldn't put it down and couldn't help falling for Whiskey.

For Kandi, her words are her weapon. And she knows how to use them. Causing you to love and hate along with the characters. You can't help but get sucked into the story and her beautiful word baby.

This boxset is a fantastic deal- 3 books for one credit!
Weightless (narrated by Marie Mitchell): Weightless had been on my TBR forever and I was excited to see it included in this boxset. I found Natalie's journey to get over an ex and improve her fitness such a realistic storyline. Her relationship with trainer Rhodes was intriguing- he was dark and broody and I have to admit I always like a grumpy hero. A little suspense in my romance is always welcome and I have to admit to not seeing a twist coming.
A Love Letter to Whiskey (narrated by Lauren Sweet): Well this book is the true definition of angst! I truly felt for Jamie and B and how timing just seemed to be against them. Such a rollercoaster and that epilogue! Goodness! Narrator Lauren Sweet looks to have a big catalog of work and I will be checking out more of her work.

This trio was off the charts amazing! I'm so thankful that it ended with a lighter book because this was an emotional one two. I'll do a quick review of one book but let me just say that you are missing out if you don't grab this trio. Plus, I mean you get three books for the price of one! You can't go wrong!!
This is one of Kandi Steiner’s best novels. A Love Letter to Whiskey was emotional and complex. Steiner gives us a roller coaster of emotions. I found myself angry and riddled with angst. Steiner did a superb job of playing with my emotions. Keep tissues handy… keep your reading and/or listening device into a padded case as well. Heed my warning there, in case you feel the urge to toss things like I did.
So, A Love Letter to Whiskey is an emotionally charged novel that plays on the emotions heavily. I’m not sold on the narrator Lauren Sweet. She didn’t hit on the emotions like I felt like was necessary. She has a pleasant enough voice and I have no doubt that she could pull off audios that aren’t quite high emotion. I could see her excelling at RomComs in particular.

This boxed set includes three full length stories: Weightless, A Love Letter to Whiskey, and Make Me Have You. Each story is emotional, and filled with angst and twists and turns. The narrators did a good job with the narration.
1 Weightless: Natalie and Rhodes's story is emotional and beautiful. Natalie is lovely and my heart broke for her. Rhodes is a wonderful character, caring and supportive. I loved to follow them in their journey to love. The story has angst, intrigue, suspense, and romance. This is my favorite story in this collection.
2 A Love Letter to Whiskey: B and Jamie's friends to lovers, and slow burn romance, is an emotional roller-coaster. Their journey is complex, and they share a push and pull relationship.
3 Make Me Hate You: Jasmine and Taylor story Brother’s best friend romance is intense and beautiful. They share an undeniable chemistry. The story is filled with twists and turns.

I have now read through this probably three of four times.
Weightless is and may always be my favorite book of Kandi's. Natalie is by far one of the most relatable characters. I think many of us know what it is to find ourselves unhappy with how things have turned out and sadly many don't find a great and healthy way out. I love that Natalie did.
I see a lot of negative talk about the plot twist and drama but I think we all hide things from the light and never confront or say out loud to others. Also, as someone who has read almost Kandi's entire back log... did you not expect angst and more. Ugh. I will always hold this book dear to my heart.

Audio Review:
Weightless is well-plotted with fleshed out compelling characters, romance, a dab of suspense and a unexpected twist. Natalie and Rhodes lovestory is passionate and beautifully written.
Narrator Marie Mitchell naration is fantastic and brings all the sensations alive.
A Love Letter To Whiskey is suffused with angst. Like Whiskey, with age, it changes, as B and Jamie changed with age. This one was my favourite of the three audios. Smooth flowing just like whiskey everything fit and come together to the end.
Lauren Sweet's performance was perfect and brought the characters and story to reality.
Make Me Hate You, a best friends brother angsty romance. A history, time and future all wrapped up into a heartfelt listen.
Holly Warren performs with enthusiasm and brings the character's personalities out.
All three books are angsty, emotiobal and a romantic journey.

Weightless-
This coming of age love story had the rich girl falling for the boy from the other side of the tracks. While I did enjoy the story and the light angst and the emotions it was able to pull, I did feel it concentrated on the FMC weight loss journey a little too much and not the euphoria of working out.
A Love Letter To Whiskey-
This devastated me! I was not prepared for this kind of missed opportunity relationship. I also felt the HEA was a little light on, the epilogue truly felt as though it was an add on to please the masses. But the growth of these 2 was spectacular.
Make Me Hate You.
Jasmine and Tyler were beautiful. They needed the time apart to grow and learn about life but unfortunately it was started under a misunderstanding that grew from there. I liked that Jasmine spoke up about this when she finally saw him again. She didn’t keep trying to sweep it under the rug, she got her answers, and while they were devastating, they helped put a grounding on their new relationship.
The narrators for these books were brilliant I loved them all, especially Holly Warren.

This was three books in one, which I didn’t realize when I started reading it. I have to say Kandi Steiner is one of my favorite authors and I love her writing style.

All three are wonderful books. I had already read two of them. However, this is the first time I read Weightless.
I highly recommend all three of these books.

Awesome book
This book just grabs you. Especially because she gets with the town's bad boy. And he is the most caring man ever. Then the town's most prestigious man is the worst. It is so much like real life which is scary! Very well written book. I really liked William. It turned out so much better than everyone expected.

*audiobook review*
I loved each book in this series, the first 2 (weightless and whiskey) were much better than the last book was enjoyable but a little less dramatic than the first 2 , but then I LOVE the drama , all the narrators in each book did an absolutely amazing job and I was hooked throughout, highly recommend this collection, my first from this author but definitely not my last

Angsty Romance that restores your faith in love
Three novels in one collection that are impossible to put down. Swoon worthy highs and lows that hit you right in the feels. My favorite line, "Rhodes was an unanticipated thunderstorm. And I danced in his rain."

If you love Kandi, you gotta have this set!!!!!!!! Three!!!!! I repeat, THREE of her greatest books all in one place!!!! Holy crap!!!!!! Grab it quickly!!!!!! All three of these books are freaking amazing. I just cannot believe that she put them all together!!! I am shook y’all!!!!

Run I mean run and get these!!! 3 for 1 and all three stories do not diss appoint!!! I cannot recommend this trio enough. I still think about whiskey on a daily!!! Each story is better than the next and ughhh there is so much love and hurt!!!! That you have to love it!!! Kandi is amazing!!
