A refreshingly different way

Sarah Santacroce introduces a gentler way to market and promote your business. As a solopreneur who doesn't care for some traditional marketing techniques, this book is a refreshing reminder that there is an alternative that is more authentic, creative, and kindness-focused and there are many business owners who want to market in a way that is true to their personal values. There were occasional parts that didn't resonate with me as much as others but the flow of the book and the structure makes it easy to connect with the parts that do align and respect the ones that may not as much. Well done, Sarah.

a mediocre rehash of what has been said before. of course, the greed made some of the terms to be changed so the author can claim paternity if the book is sold in large enough numbers

I think a lot of us are realizing Hustle culture isn't working for them. This is a good first step towards a less stressful marketing plan that is more in alignment with values.
That said the author admits that this is new, so none of it is really proven yet for the long term. Doing things differently comes with risk, but everything is well researched and well developed!
I feel it's worth the risk to go into a better way of doing business!

This book spoke straight to the heart of me. I am a convert and will go back to this book often in my focus on marketing in a way that is inline with my values.

If hype marketing is not for you and you wish to listen to your heart when marketing then this book is for you.

Thank you, Sarah Santacroce, for being brave enough to follow your heart.

The Gentle Marketing Revolution, in my opinion, isn’t a book to rush through. Instead, it’s to be savored, which is why I took my time reading it and will reread it again and again and... Whether you read this book fast or slow - your business and life will be transformed! For instance, I was hemming and hawing about what to do about a social media platform algorithm change. Then I decided on how to proceed, although I was feeling anxiety over it to the point I couldn’t sleep. Since I couldn’t sleep, I picked up Sarah Santacroce’s book. Like magic, I began the next chapter and was thrilled that the author’s words were confirming my decision! The Gentle Marketing Revolution is more than a book, it’s a way of life!

Finally - a marketing book that gets me!

I loved this book and Sarah Santacroce’s gentle approach to marketing; a topic that usually frustrates me. Her ideas were authentic to the way I like to run my business, and they validated that I can do things my way and still be really successful. Finally! Someone who can outline another way to do it!

I wrote a much longer review on my website, so here I'll just say that the book is definitely going in the right direction in terms of how we should do marketing. It has some things that I would like to see developed a little more in terms of how to practically make them work in a business, but overall I think it has the right idea.
