A wonderful little book that makes particularly good Easter Season reading. The author does a wonderful job expanding on all biblical episodes from Easter morning until the Ascension, speculating on the thoughts and feelings of all characters, including Jesus. Excellent for reflection and contemplation. Suggestion: a chapter each time one visits the Blessed Sacrament.

The risen Jesus

A great recounting of the Resurrection of our Lord. It helps the reader to “be present” at the various instances when our Lord appeared to his disciples after the resurrection. I highly recommend this book.
