Wow❤️❤️❤️
Ich liebe den zweiten Teil. Der erste Teil hat mir schon super gefallen, aber Teil 2 fand ich sogar noch etwas genialer. Es ist aber auch schwer Teil 1 und 2 zu vergleichen, da es im zweiten Teil endlich um eine Beziehung von Alice und Jason, auch wenn es schwer für die beiden ist. Im ersten Teil geht es um hauptsächlich um den Club und beide lernen sich erst kennen. Wenn ihr mehr von Teil 1 oder Teil 2 wissen wollt, dann guckt euch den Klapptext an. Dort steht alles wichtige. Ich liebe die Geschichte von Alice und Jason. Beide sind zwei tolle Charaktere. Das Cover passt super zum Buch. Der Schreibstil der Autorin ist toll. Ich konnte das Buch nicht aus der Hand legen. Die unterschiedlichen Perspektiven sind toll, da man sich super in die Charaktere hineinversetzen kann. Das Buch hat alles, was man sich wünscht. Ich kann den zweiten Teil der Reihe nur empfehlen. Ich freue mich auf den nächsten Teil. ❤️❤️❤️

What an intense and twisted read
Alice and Jason’s story continues to fascinate me, there chemistry is off the charts
The array of emotions these characters evoke will make you fall in love with them even more, there trust and honesty compelling
They’ve finally become a couple, but being together comes with its challenges, challenges they are determined to see through together
There are people that want to tear them down, all for the sake of making a scandalous headline, but with their people behind them every step of the way, they know they’ll endure the worst to come
There lust and desire for one another will twist you inside out, it will have you coming back wanting more
Those s€x scenes in and out of the bedroom were very intense, erotic, intimate, hot, raw, powerful, passionate, deliciously dirty, oh so steamy, wicked, beautiful, hot, wet and wild
From the first word to the last, I was hooked, could not put this book down. This author clearly knows how to hook and ensnare her readers to ensure they come back for more, me I’ll definitely come back for more from this author for sure!
The different points of view told a telling story, all connected very well, the characters were very well written, it made it so easy for the reader to totally immerse themselves, to get lost in the entirety of the story. Can’t wait to see there character development in the next book.

Oh, the heat is HOT, and the physical chemistry is captivating so be careful you may just get burned all the heat coming off these pages. There were some "oh no" "oh wow" " what the what" moments and add in uncanny mishaps, and shenanigans the good kind that makes you keep turning the pages till last page has been turned. Curiosity will get you into all kinds of trouble and that is exactly what happens to Alice she is invited to Dark Ally is a night club that you must be invited to and she was and once invited she discovered there is more to herself and she likes the confidence she discovers she has and Jason really was the King of Diamonds but what is next for these two? Continued this is book two and still more needs to be told about these two and same questions are they still in the form of discovery and both have learned so much about each other Bella’s friends are wanting to know more about this new love, new life and what happens in the club of Dark Ally.

This is book two in the Dark Alley series, and I sure hope there’s a book three!
This was an intense and twisty read, with compelling well written characters, chemistry and story. A page turner that keep me on the edge and my nose buried in my e-reader. DS Wrights is definitely on my watch for and read list!

July 5, 2021I loved this book, loved Jason and Alice, can’t wait to read the next installments. My one complaint would be the lack of editing in this installment, it made it a difficult read, and sometimes hard to follow since I had to sometimes read sections over again to try and decipher what it was that the author was trying to say. Regardless of this one criticism, I love this series!

The King of Diamonds and Alice finally are a couple. The only problem is they have to keep their relationship a secret. This book is so full of lust and desire. It keeps you wanting more. I couldn't put it down. I highly recommend this series.

I was expecting more action but not boring , repetitive thoughts of Alice or Jason 's, was skipping pages to get end of this book. Still want to read book 3 and hope story line will improve.

Still good 5 stars - This is a continuation of Alice’s romance with King of Diamonds. There are a lot of things happening in this book. It is still long but it doesn’t feel as long as the first book because there is less narrative. Although the narrative is still there, the plot is more exciting. The scenes are still steamy. Unfortunately, this book is not the conclusion. I received an advanced copy and voluntarily chose to review it.

„Grantham Global“ ist der zweite Band der Dark Alley Reihe von D. S. Wrights.
Alice hat sich für Jason entschieden und damit gleichzeitig für ein jahrelanges Leben als heimliche Geliebte im Hintergrund. Wie schwierig das ganze im Alltag tatsächlich wird, zeigt sich bereits nach wenigen Tagen. Am Arbeitsplatz müssen beide professionell und distanziert bleiben und auch private Treffen sind alles andere als einfach. Eine genaue Planung ist unverzichtbar, denn die Presse und vor allem Tristan, der Ex von Alice, suchen weiterhin nach dunklen Flecken auf der nach außen hin weißen Weste von Jason. Langsam wird Alice klar, worauf sie sich eingelassen hat und was es sie kosten könnte.
Man muss die erste Staffel unbedingt gelesen haben, ansonsten wird das Verständnis sehr schwer werden. Die Handlung schließt nahtlos an den letzten Teil an und Alice und Jason werden sich langsam bewusst, wie schwierig das geplante Versteckspiel für sie beide werden könnte.
Diesmal wechseln die Erzählperspektiven zwischen Alice und Jason und man erhält gerade am Anfang ziemlich tiefe Einblicke in ihre Gedankenwelt. Das hat mir im Vergleich zur ersten Staffel besser gefallen, da man dadurch einen viel besseren Zugang zu Jasons Charakter bekommt.
Der Alltag ist für ihre ganz spezielle Beziehung nicht einfach und Alice wird recht schnell ernüchtert und muss sich fragen, ob dies wirklich das ist, was sie will. Sie hat sich aber deutlich weiterentwickelt und ist viel direkter und selbstbestimmter geworden.
Jason ist klar, was er von Alice verlangt und am liebsten würde er sie rund um die Uhr von der Welt abschirmen. Sein Leben im Fokus der Öffentlichkeit ist nicht so sorglos und schillernd, wie es sich Außenstehende vorstellen. Er unterliegt ständigen Zwängen und Erwartungen und fühlt sich wie in einem goldenen Käfig. Die Beziehung der beiden entwickelt sich weiter und mir gefällt, dass auch die Schwierigkeiten gezeigt werden und nicht alles rosarot gezeichnet wird.
Mein Fazit:
Mir hat die erste Staffel schon sehr gut gefallen und ich mag auch die Fortsetzung. Jetzt bin ich gespannt, wie es mit Alice und Jason weitergeht. Auch für die zweite Staffel gibt es von mir eine klare Leseempfehlung!

Despite knowing the importance of keeping their relationship a secret, Alice opened her mouth, a lot, and was more wishy-washy with the relationship while her boyfriend was more steadfast. And I'm not telling who the boyfriend is - you'll need to read the book (or both books 1 and 2) and it'll be worth it. Must read the books in order to get the full picture.
This book has lost the intrigue and mystery aspect in favor of moving closer to each other, a deeper relationship. However, they keep coming to the fact that they really don't know each other very well, but don't attempt to because they only have time for sex when they're together.
Enjoyed the quotes from Star Wars and Jane Austen. Still a good read and look forward to the next book.

I really like D.S. Wrights work. I read this book in one day and it was hard to put it down. Her writing makes you take a step back and look at things from a different perspective. Not only are you looking at it through her perspective, but you are looking at it through Alice and Jason’s perspective.
There is definitely some twists in this story and I cannot wait to see how the author continues this in the next book. Once again, my emotions were all over the place as she has a way of pulling you into the story. You find yourself rooting for Alice and Jason and you find yourself wishing for a HEA for everyone involved.
I am anxious to see how the 3rd book in the series will play out. I would like to know what happens with Tristan (Aquarius) and then also Jeff and Ben from the bar – I would like to see if they manage to wreck havoc with Alice and Jason.

Dieser Teil der Dark Alley geht nahtlos von Band 1 über in Band 2. Hier wird die Beziehung von Jason und Alice hervorgehoben und die Dark Alley leider etwas in den Hintergrund gerückt.
Der Schreibstil der Autorin ist flüssig, leicht und fesselnd zu lesen. Man muss sich Zeit nehmen um dieses Buch zu lesen damit man so richtig in die Geschichte eintauchen kann.
Die Protagonisten waren wieder sehr authentisch beschrieben und waren mir von Anfang an sehr sympathisch. Auch merkt ma den mit von Alice sich in der Gesellschaft mit Jason zu zeigen und das Leben zu genießen. Was nicht immer einfach ist.
Die Gefühle und Emotionen in dieser Geschichte haben es in sich. Es beginnt eine Achterbahn der Gefühle und das Kopfkino arbeitet in vollen Zügen, denn es wird prickelnd.
Fazit
Eine gelungene Fortsetzung bei der die Dark Alley leider etwas zu kurz kommt. Danke an den Buch-Luchs Verlag für das Rezensionsexemplar.

Dieser Teil hat mir noch besser gefallen als der erste. Er fängt genau an der Stelle an, wo der erste Teil aufgehört hat und ist mit einem leichten, flüssigen Schreibstil geschrieben. Hier kommen Alice und Jason beide zu Wort, wodurch die beiden eine gewisse Tiefe bekommen und man beide Seiten noch intensiver kennenlernen kann. Die Handlungen sind gut nachvollziehbar. Die Liebe der beiden wird auf eine harte Probe gestellt, denn hier stellt sich wieder einmal heraus, das man mit Geld nicht alles kaufen kann. Es ist spannend wie die beiden Charaktere sich weiterentwickelt haben und wie sie mit den Situationen umgehen. Die Geschichte der beiden ist bis zum Schluss sehr fesselnd und macht Lust auf den dritten Teil um zu erfahren wie es weitergeht.
Absolut lesenswert, zum besseren Verständnis sollte man aber erst den ersten Teil gelesen haben.

Eine sehr emotionsgeladene und spannende Fortsetzung. Man kann nicht sagen, rund um die Dark Alley, denn diese wird im zweiten Teil ziemlich zur Nebensache. Alice und Jason wird schnell klar, dass sie mehr verbindet, als die Dark Alley. Aber Reallife macht es den beiden nicht einfach. Im Job ist Vorsicht geboten, den Journalisten muss man aus dem Weg gehen, und trotzdem wollen sie gemeinsam Zeit verbringen. Als reicher Mann hat man schon ein hartes Los, wenn die Gattin an seiner Seite nicht die Frau des Herzens ist. Wir lernen hier Adele auch besser kennen, und auch von Jasons Team bekommt man sehr viel Loyalität. I am going to keep reading because I am invested in the characters but I am finding the poor editing and proof reading to be a distraction. Whatever happened to spellcheck? The amount of character/storyline development really didn't deserve a whole book and no one should be in so much of a rush to publish that they get their heroes name wrong.

I was really excited for the continuation of this series based on dark alley’s ending! Overall, I enjoyed the plot, the characters, and the conflict! I wish it would have gone a little darker but I am pleased with this author and can’t wait to see what book 3 brings to the table!
