I just live Pie! He's amazing. I really love this series. It's just as good as the original Mc members and a hell of a lot funnier too!

We really enjoyed Pie and Bristol's story. Pie was a sweetheart, naughty and nice, and we loved how he was with Bristol, always trying to build her confidence up in herself and defending her when warranted but, we loved that he loved her just the way she was.

Bristol was a sweetheart the curvy chef made us laugh, and we loved that she had a wicked sense of humor. It broke our heart how she felt about herself and in this aspect Pie is she what she needs.

We enjoyed the fact it had that mix of mafia/biker thingy going on. The story had an ongoing plot that is still remains a mystery and the mystery intensified and if that is not enough the club has taken another hit yet again one you did not see coming. Zig and Zag added to the humor factor in the story, they always make us laugh.

Overall we really loved the story we loved the characters both mafia and biker they were awesome.

Ms. Travers never has a problem making us love her characters. We loved that both Bristol had their own insecurities just different but, when they were together for the most part those insecurities melted away. Bristol and Pie were perfect for one another, and we always love how opposites seem to be attracted to one another. There were more than a few hot and sexy scenes that had this couple getting caught in the act of romancing when they were trying to keep it on the down low, making us laugh out loud even harder. As always, the authors ending has us in suspense even more than ever before. Will there be a next victim? You definitely felt the love that these characters have for one another, it was quite endearing, and it warms a girl heart. We can't wait to see what happens next as Ms, Travers is one of our favorite authors, we just love her stories...

WOW!

WINTER YOU'RE KILLIN ME WITH THESE CLIFFHANGERS! LOL! I absolutely loved this book. Pie starts out seeming like a really young man then it's as if you can see him growing with each chapter. He was always sweet but as he continues to grow and after he has a talk with his dad he seems to become a romantic at heart. Bristol is a hard one. She's obviously a very talented chef, smart and beautiful but she has really horrible self esteem. She has the fat girl syndrome. So many people in her past hurt her by telling her she was fat or making fun of her for it and she heard it so much she started believing it. That makes it hard for Pie when he tries to convince her of his true feelings for her. At times the suspense and excitement were so intense I was jittery. At times I was laughing out loud. I said it before but I'll say it again, Zig and Zag are my favorites. They crack me up! Lol! King and Meg are like the dad and mom of a house full of people. It was really nice to get to hear from Remy and his wife in this book, it would be nice to get more of them with their son. The 3rd generation of the Devil's Knights. Lol. I can't say I like Luna's character, she's really a grouchy B****. But Greta I could be friends with. Lol. I can't wait to find out what's gonna happen next. I highly recommend this series to everyone.

Another Fantastic Book by this Author

Bristol is a chef for Marco who is a mafia boss and his fiancé is part of the Devil’s Knight’s MC. Pie is one of the brothers in the MC and has an eye for Bristol with each of them not thinking that they are worthy of the other. With Bristol because she sees herself as fat and ugly and Pie thinks that Bristol can do much better for herself. On a side note Bristol is a whole big size of 16!!! Oh, how I wish!!

Bristol is loved by so many and her personality is beyond great besides being the fantastic chef that she is. I also loved how Bristol was looked after by the mafia big boys. They were truly big brothers to her. Pie was every bit the big alpha biker who had a soft spot when it came to Bristol.

This author has always done it for me but this book hit close to home for me. I loved her take on “big girls” and what goes on in their heads sometimes…especially the tub scene. Ms. Travers also writes with humor thrown into her books and with all the cameras around the estate where Bristol works it couldn’t have been funnier. Don’t get me wrong because it wasn’t all fun and games because the chemistry is beyond hot and the heartfelt emotions that come out when of their own has a touch with death.

I highly recommend this book!!

This book is book four in the Devil's Knights second generation. While you do not have to read the first generation and while each book in this series can be read as a standalone, I would recommend reading in order as some of the events continue on in the next book.Bristol is a curvy, smart and awesome cook and like any girl has confidence issues on her body. I loved that on the cover is a bigger girl to meet the mentioned size in the book. Love how flustered she gets so quickly when it comes to security catching her, it is quite funny. Pie is a hot MC alpha and he was not looking to settle down, but that lane certainly took a turn when his mind had him Changing Lanes on what he wanted. He knew he could not get enough of Bristol, but something that happens in the story with the key player in the MC starts making him now is the time to change and for good reason. One thing I think you will enjoy for being an MC is the mafia mix in and it is not all bad events as we see a normal MC not a bad one. I love the interaction between the two. The author writes a story that keeps you hooked with some suspense, laughter and what a true family of a band of brothers and the women look like. This is one series I would recommend and thinking with the ending we are going to be one step closer to solving the mystery of the club girls. Maybe, we shall see.

No love story in the love story

I bought this book based in the reviews but I wish I hadn't. Bristol and Pie had the chance to stand out as a couple but they didn't in their own book. I understand that this is a book series but it honestly read as if I was dropped in the middle of action with no idea who the people are. 🤔 which is fine. But what I learned is that the "hilarious" or "funny" dialogue is used as a plot crutch.

Bristol is in the Mafia camp as a cook and Pie is in the MC camp as an nephew to the Pres. Majority of the book revolves around the H and h being in their two separate camps going through "hilarious" dialogue but no real action or growth. The characters would finally have a scene together but it was quick filled with steamy (not hot or smoldering or sexy) scenes, just kinda lukewarm steamy, and then Pie would quickly jet. They had no real conversations that went deeper. I couldn't even describe them beyond Bristol has great T*++ and thick thighs; Pie is in his 20s and tall. That's it. Maybe they were described in detail in the previous books.

I spent unnecessary time with characters I didn't care about and barely read a love story between Bristol and Pie.

An entertaining addition to this next generation MC series. This story is all about family, friends and love. The Devil's Knights and the Banachi mafia families. We’re back in Marco’s home with the fabulous chef Bristol and her secret romance with Pie. He’s a hottie that’s one of the new faces of up and coming leaders of the Knights. After the devastating events with the staff at the MC’s strip club, Pie is helping to get the club back up and running so the MC doesn’t suffer from the lack of income. His sister Luna is right there with him along with the other “kids”. Yup, the crazy is roaming free with Zig and Zag. This next gen is so much fun! The romance between the talented Bristol and the hunky Pie has all of Bri’s insecurities rising to the surface. Silly woman! Guys like something to hold on to and Pie is a perfect example. He’s wants her with all her curves and sweet smiles. They’re a sexy couple and a great addition to all the wonderful couples in this MC life. The drama in the story is a shocker with one of the MC in dire circumstances. The killer storyline takes a backseat until that jaw dropping ending. Looks like the next story will have the club looking for one of their own and hunting the killer. Can’t wait!

If I have said it once, I’ll say it often. I LOVE MC books and 2nd Generations that not only give us the kids now grown and taking over, but give us a look at the original guys that made up the original series are some of the best out there. Well if they are done right that is and Winter Travers certainly knows how to do it right. Changing Lanes is Pie’s and Bristol’s story. It not only brings us face to face with the bikers that make up the Devil Knights and their local Mafia connection.

Bristol is Marco, the head of the local Mafia, cook. Her world centers around the kitchen and cooking. Having been made fun of and ridiculed all her life due to her size, she has a very small circle of friends. When the sexy biker, Pie, shows an interest, she can’t refuse him even though she knows in her heart a man like him won’t stay long, let alone love her, especially when he insists they keep their affair a secret. But are Bristol’s thoughts right or wrong? Are Pie’s reasons for getting her a secret because he’s ashamed of being seen with her?

A great addition to the series and an amazing read you don’t want to miss.

2 Thumbs Up and 5 Stars

Winter absolutely delivered in this book! After the ending of the last book where we get a taste of this couple, I was hooked and could not wait for this to release! Bristol dominates at her job as a chef and loves what she does, but she is extremely self-conscious and thinks the worst about herself. Pie is extremely attracted to Bristol and can’t understand why she wants to keep them a secret, but we see that what Pie wants, he gets. We see a different side of Pie where he is very supportive and stands up to not only others that speak poorly about Bristol, but herself when she starts to talk that way. The banter between these two is really what made the book for me – while it seems that Bristol is shy and people pleasing on the outside, she definitely knows what she wants and goes for it in her personal life. I love that the other characters from the previous books were able to get involved in this story and added to the depth of the story while also getting updates from their lives. I cannot wait for the next installment in this series!
I voluntarily read and reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.

This was mostly a fun read. Pie & Bristol have really great banter & are super sweet with each other! But, they're also kind of "hiding" their relationship, because neither feels "worthy" of the other, & that bugged me. I didn't like that that part lasted as long story-wise as it did. There are also some heavier things going on, continuing the overall storylines in the series, that aren't "fun" but are done really well!

I also love the family time we get to see throughout the story. Marco & his guys, along w/ the Knights, continue to be a close-knit group w/ all the teasing & love you get from family. And Apollo on the mic throughout the property when Pie & Bristol are having a moment SCREAMS sibling shenanigans! I laughed a lot at those!

Pie does a really great job of settling Bristol's negative voices, and I love seeing how much he loves her, and how he works to get her to see herself as he does. And the peek into the next book in the series, as always, had me dropping my jaw & wondering what will happen next!!

Changing Lanes is the fourth title in the Second Generation of Devil’s Knights books, and features Pie the son of Marley and Troy, who originally featured in Battling Troy and Bristol who featured heavily in the previous title Royal Mess.
Bristol is Marco and Royal’s personal chef and is treated like a member of the family. She’s a curvy heroine with her fair share of insecurities and vulnerabilities when it comes to her physical appearance. She’s a hardworking, loyal heroine with a great sense of humor.
Pie was raised around the Devils Knights MC and is completely enamored by Bristol. It doesn’t hurt that he loves to eat and she’s an incredible cook. This alpha biker also has his own hang ups when it comes to his self-image.
Changing Lanes is a fun, quick and enjoyable read with equal parts heat, heart, and humor. The banter is fun, flirtatious, and witty and the intrigue continues to build regarding the identity of a serial killer, and the ending of this title leaves you eager for more.

I LOVE me some Winter Travers, and I definitely love this series as I can't get enough of it. That being said, I'm a bit more murderous with Changing Lanes because of Pie to be honest. He & Bristol have a benefits situation going on, and while I don't hold that against him I do hold a big thing against him, and I'm really still not over it to be honest. I know Bristol has some insecurity issues, and I even felt her pain about them to be honest, but I sure do wish she had held his feet to the fire a bit more before forgiving him because I felt it deep down when he hurt her. Luckily, there are a lot of humorous moments to get my rage down because of laughing as many of the supporting cast are comedic gold. I also need to have some questions answered but instead I got a big cliffy for the next book which does have me dying inside. Anyway, let me just stop now because it's more fun to read it for yourselves rather than reviews, and because of Pie's actions, I have to give Changing Lanes 4.5 STARS!

Yet again, this author changed it up a bit. Pie and Bristol are keeping their relationship quiet, or so they think. So when Pie’s big mouth gets him in trouble and Bristol’s insecurities get the better of her, they both have some fancy footwork to do so they can get back on track. It helps that Apollo, Murphy, and Princeton steal the show, too! Apollo and his eye in the sky interference in conversations and possible acts had me laughing a few times. Luckily, Bristol and Pie figured out how to be happy together, because I’m pretty sure Apollo was going to take things a step farther if they didn’t!

This book also had a couple of heart stopping moments. King, Luna, Royal and not hiding her PPD were some masterful twists. All of these kept my heart and head in the game to the very end. So now, I wait. I wait for Luna’s story and man (I have an idea). I wait to see what comes next. I. Just. Wait.

So this happened... a 3 star read. Winters books are always 5 star. But not this one. Let’s break it down. The good parts. Pie, he was human, kind and naughty. I loved the previous characters. Luna, hilarious a spunky. Also I liked that the h was a bigger girl. Just sorry that when you read a book with plus size girls they look down on them self. Why can’t writers just have a plus size girl with confidence? Who like who they are and are confident in their skin. What I did not like was That the only thing we got to read about Bristol was food and what she was cooking and her opinion of her self. I did not know who this woman was. She have to have more to her than cooking.
I was disappointed. Nothing happened with the couple. A few bumps but nothing else. Bummer. Hope the next one is better.

This is the 4th book in this amazing 2nd generation series and is Pie and Bristol’s story. Pie has been brought up in the MC, and Bristol is a chef for Marco. My heart broke for Bristol at the continuous knockdown she grew up with by her parents about her curves, and this has left her insecure and vulnerable, but underneath is a wonderful sense of humor. Pie and Bristol are drawn to each other, and the chemistry between them is sizzling, but he has his work cut out by supporting and encouraging her about how beautiful she really is. This is a beautifully written flawless story which is filled with emotions, which pulls at the heartstrings throughout, and is a humorous, entertaining, and wonderful love story, which had me totally enthralled throughout, and I cannot wait to read more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.

These two agree to casual so he shows up at night and leaves in the morning. She hears him tell others she's not his type, she never calls him out on it. Just takes the scraps he throws at her, she thinks if he's taking from her, she'll just take from him. I wish she stood up, grow a giant back bone, but it never happens. When they are finally about to have a talk something happens and he leaves. Like two weeks go by and they never reach out to each other, no text, no call. When the talk finally finally happens he's shocked she feels the way she does, well duh, you treat her like a f buddy she's going to feel like one. The end. No future outlook, not enough of them actually together. (These past books make Luna so unlikeable to me it will be interesting how author writes her in the next book)

Changing Lanes picks us up where Royal Mess left off. Pie is beginning to start something with Marco's sweet chef Bristol. The mystery that has threaded its way through this second-generation series is getting scarier and scarier, and I cannot wait for the next book. But back to Changing Lanes, Pie and Bristol think they are not good enough for each other, Pie because he's an MC member, and Bristol because she thinks she's fat. Pie spends a lot of the book convincing her she is wrong. There is the usual humor amongst the club members until a crisis strikes the club that brings clarity to a lot of club members. Changing Lanes was a strong story in this series. I have enjoyed all the books in this series; this one had a lot of emotion, not to mention the cliffhanger at the end. You will definitely come out of this one loving Pie and Bristol.

The fourth book in the Devil's Knights 2nd Generation series is one that is full of witty banter, drama, suspense and real issues that people face. Bristol and Pie's story is emotional and at times has you changing lanes with these two with no preparation for what might happen. Their story has parts that will have you holding your breath and hoping that the author doesn't rip your heart out with an unexpected event. Pie will have you at times wanting to smack him around the head but at the same time have you swooning at the words that flow from him. A story that has you riding an emotional roller coaster that will touch your heart. These two have plenty of heat and steam to have your skin tingling with the chemistry that radiates between them. Changing Lanes is full of passion, light hearted moments and it will leave you on the edge of your seat ready to jump into the next book.

This book pretty much dealt with Bristol and Pie. They meet at Marco's house and have a fling while he is there. She is falling fast but Pie only seems to want her when he wants sex. He doesn't acknowledge her or let on that they are involved so she feels like his dirty secret.
Pie on the other hand feels like he isn't good enough for her and tries to stay away but he can't. Bristol has such a low opinion about herself that Pie finally convinces her that she is what he wants.
The one thing that was interesting was the scare the club had, and seeing them all pull together as a club and being there for each other.
Now Luna is in the sights of the killer and I'm pretty sure that Ransom will come to the rescue and it will be interesting to find out why King never thought he would make a good fit for the MC.

Shh! It's a secret but yet some people know. Pie has been visiting, Bristol hasn't been resisting. Both resist each other until it's just not possible to do so while trouble brews with the club and then tragedy strikes as well. The glue could be gone but where will that leave everyone. They pull it together and make things work. Bristol and Pie get it together even with the insecurities dogging their every step but will it work, last.. will they overcome?

Ughh, Winter is a written word genius. I just can't with this one. Caught and held till the end and then.. then .. I almost threw my kindle out the door. I could not believe it! I should know better!!! A masterpiece that touched my heart, made me cry and laugh and .. scream!!

Bristol & Pie

A cook for a Mafia King and a biker in the Devil's Knight's MC. She didn't have a lot of self-confidence due to bullying. It was his job to convince her differently. I loved them as a couple. It wasn't easy to find time alone. Was it planned or lack of caring ran through her mind? Was he good enough for her? Could they get past their insecurities?

I love all the old characters, the mafia security guys were hilarious. They were the best bad guys ever. The club is fighting an ongoing problem. Some bad and some good surprises. Plenty of steam, family love both by blood and club. It kept me captive from beginning to end. I did have a problem with the end but will let you make up your own mind. Waiting for the next one is not going to be easy.

Bristol works as a chef for Marco and Royal however she has been welcomed as a part of the family and not just an employee. She and Pie have been spending some private one on one time together however she believes that because of her curvaceous figure that what they have will never go beyond a fling.

Pie was raised in the Knights MC and has been enchanted by Bristol since he saw her. He believes that she deserves more than he can give her but when he realizes that her view of herself is what really stands between them he is determined to show her that he loves her just the way she is.

There is a great balance between heat and humor, and it is always fun to catch up with the other characters we know and love.

Bristol and Pie's story is sweet. These two thought they were so good at keeping their secret..... Problem is they seemed to forget that those who love them have eyes and can see the chemistry between them. The both of the have some insecurities and surprisingly they are the same. I loved watching these two fall in love and I love how they fit together.
There were a few moments that will play with your heartstrings. There were also a few moments that you will find yourself chuckling. Winter I have read every single book in the Devil's Knights series and I have enjoyed each and every one of them! I am looking forward to seeing just what else you have in store for us with these characters.

Pie and Bri was just adorable! The Second Gen of the Devil's Knights is just as awesome as their parents and I cannot thank Winter Travers enough for writing them. Pie is Troy's son, he grew up in the club even though his dad wasn't in it. He and Bri started hanging out together after the events in the previous book. Both of them have caught feelings but aren't about to reveal that to the other. There are major insecurities they are both dealing with and I loved how it all played out. There are a few surprises along the way, as always with Ms Travers and that just makes her books all the sweeter. Can't wait for the next Knight to fall!

Changing lanes is sexy sweet and had me invested right from the start. Pie and Bristol had fantastic chemistry and explosive heat. They both have a vulnerability about not being enough, but they balance each other out and are perfect together. I appreciate that Winter wrote about a curvy full figured woman and the insecurities that so many of us face. You need to read this book for the pantry, the pond, the intercom, the tub and the food alone. The twists and turns and fear of losing one of their own kept me on the edge of my seat! Changing lanes made me want pie every day for the rest of my life!

Her size has always played a role in how her relationships go, he doesn't want other to know who he is with. One thing can make them realize they need to act before its too late. Will she believe him when he says he wants her? Will he step up and admit his feelings?

Another Winter Travers hit! I love how these men love their women and how they do what is necessary to prove to them their feelings. I didn't blame her for being insecure after how she had been treated, but loved when he finally explained everything, she was able to relax and open up about what was on her mind and heart. Great read and cannot wait for Luna's book!

Changing Lanes is a second generation story in the Devils Knight’s series. This is a cute read and I loved it.

Pie and Bristol have been seeing each other for some time but both have some insecurities that keep them from wanting to make their relationship known. Due to those insecurities both feel unworthy of the other. It’ll take a scare in the club to make these two realize they’re perfect for each other.

I loved Pie and Bristol. They are adorable together. I loved their banter and I loved how Pie always made Bristol feel beautiful.

There are some laugh out loud moments and some moments that you’ll be shaking your head. I definitely recommend this and all the books in the series.

Wow Winter Travers, you have truly outdone yourself with Changing Lanes, is Pie (Troy and Marley’s son, and Luna’s brother) and Bristol’s (Chef for Marco) story’s. Pie and Bristol are great together, he helps her overcome some issues she has. While they are still trying to find out who is killing the “girls” Pie and Bristol dive into a life together. What will happen, will they find the killer and will they find their happily ever after? Only one way to find out, yup you guessed it, go one click and get to reading. I highly recommend Changing Lanes by Winter Travers!!! Enjoy 😉

Absolutely ADORED this story!!!
Besides the fact that Bristol and Pie were cute as s@*t together, his words of encouragement, support and love for Bristols insecurities about her body just made the whole story way more real.
And the event that reminded us all of the love the Knights have for each other, just amazing!
Lots of big issues in this story but Winter wrote them so well!! Massive applause for that!

Again, ADORED this story and the last chapter left hanging for the next one!

100% 5 star recommendation from me!!

Another great read that I could not put down! Heart pounding, nail biting, gasps mixed with sweet, laughs and spice. I loved Bristol and Pie. Her insecurities resonate deeply and I adored Pie and how he is pulled to her. Their back and forth, along with that connection really had me loving their story. I love getting to visit with the Knights and everything that goes along with them. I will be on the edge of my seat waiting for the next book in this series. Perfect!
