Love You Forever #7

The Baby Fling

Rate this book
I’m the girl who’s always had a plan.
College (not marriage).
Career (not babies).
Conquer the world (not happily ever after).

Then I met the perfect guy...
Fate really is my least favorite F word.

Despite my long list of accomplishments—all my family seems to care about?
The lack of a diamond on my ring finger.

My dad won’t even consider voting to approve my business proposition until I’ve got a man on my arm.
And my mom won’t quit with her endless string of awful blind dates till I’ve got babies on the brain.

So I panicked—and told my family a teensy little white lie.
Okay, it was more like a massive lie that has since snowballed into a full-blown, five-alarm avalanche that’s on a never-ending path of destruction.
And the best part? That perfect guy agreed to go along with it...or at least the part he knows about.

Fake Fiancé? Check.
Fake Baby? Double Check.
Positive Pregnancy Test? Oops...

Fun, witty, sexy, and so much more. I devoured this story. The characters are sweet and sexy but also relatable. I also felt like I needed to hit some of them upside the head, but that's what makes a great story. I practically devoured this and had a big smile on my face in the end.

This is part of the Love You Forever Series. If you read My Accidental Forever you met Bianca and Brett. Their story is told via dual POV's and lets us know what both are thinking. Bianca was one strong woman who had no problem letting her feelings and opinions known. She was headstrong about her career and let no one get in her way, even her parents. She and Brett were opposites in many ways but you know what they say about opposites. They were both workaholics and his career as a motorcycle racer kept him on the road a lot. The story was humorous at times and the secondary characters were interesting and in the case of her mother, a pain. The book was a good read that I enjoyed and know you will. I read an advance copy and voluntarily chose to review it.

This was an enjoyable read. Bianca's parents are obsessed with getting her married off. She just wants to get her career going. Harley then hooks up her and her friend Brett. He also is focused on his career and not love. Of course they both end up falling for each other. Thankfully in the end everything works out and they get their happy ending.

Unlikely Love

Bianca Greer, a beautiful blonde-haired, deep brown-eyed, newly minted PhD who has recently been hired as an executive in her dad’s Chicago company, has a problem. Her mom is disappointed. While mom is proud of her daughter’s academic achievements and her appointment as an executive in the family business, joining her older brother and dad, mom wants her daughter to also marry and give her grandchildren. And, mom, to her daughter’s embarrassment and frustration, has made it her mission to find and arrange dates for her daughter with a variety of single men, regardless of the men’s interest or suitability as a date, or especially, as a husband. Some of the characteristics of the recent parade of “eligible” men have included a man already engaged and only months from marriage, another guy who still lives with his mom, and a who guy who resides with a herd of cats to whom he refers as his “babies”.

Her mom is most frustrated by the fact that from childhood, it was expected that Bianca would marry Foster, the son of family friends. But Bianca introduced Foster to her bff Harley, and now they are the parents to twins—the grandchildren so desired by Rebecca. And, after making her presentation to the company’s Board of Directors advocating for the business’ expansion to develop robotic prosthetics, her area of expertise, she is stunned when her father doesn’t immediately support her plan. Rather, he tells her that he would be more supportive of her proposal for the company if she were married with a family to ground her. So, she realizes that her dad has become a member of “Mission: Marry Off Bianca”.

But, Harley, the woman whom her mother views as the destroyer of her dreams of grandchildren by Bianca and Foster, is a true bff. She knows that while Bianca “liked” Foster, her childhood friend, she did not “love” him, nor did he love her. Bianca has been too focused on school and career for a serious relationship. And, Bianca is still goal driven—much like Harley’s former boyfriend—handsome, professional motorcycle racer, Brett Moore. Brett’s career makes him a long-distance boyfriend at best. He is gone for weeks at a time, sometimes putting his life at risk in pursuing his professional dreams. But, he would like to be in a relationship that could accept the limitations of time that his profession demands. He wants a girlfriend who is not dependent on him—not demanding of time he can’t give because of his racing schedule. And, unlike his last girlfriend, he wants someone who will not have affaires while he is on the road.

Both Bianca and Brett are wary of the dating scene, but trust Harley’s matchmaking, especially if it is only a date for an occasion—an introductory dinner of Bianca as the new executive at the Greer company’s gala. So, Bianca and Foster agree—after all it’s only one night and one date. Right?

Alexis Winters explores the twisting threads of love, common goals and uncommon professional pathways that weave together the lives and two individuals who are more connected by fate than might be apparent.

I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review ARCS, but I enjoyed the reading experience so much that I bought a copy for my "read-again" titles.

Another HEA from the Love You Forever series, courtesy of Alexis Winter!

Bianca Greer and Brett Moore were first introduced to us in Harley and Foster’s story My Accidental Forever. And now they’re back with their own story. The Baby Fling is a sort of opposites attract story, told through dual POVs.

Bianca and Brett are complete opposites when it comes to the jobs they have, however they’re the same in being passionate and giving their all for their careers and not having time for serious relationships. So when they’re set up by Harley, they decide to give it a go, since they know it won’t last as they’re unable to put in all the work needed for a relationship.
However that all changes when they both start to catch feelings, leading to a unexpected surprise pregnancy.

Alexis Winters yet again bought us a cute, sweet, funny, hot and steamy read with The Baby Fling.
I will admit in the beginning, I wasn’t into it as much reading about Bianca, her work and her plans for her future. It just felt kind of dull. I guess you could say when they were apart my interest would wane, because I wasn’t able to enjoy the benefits of seeing their interactions between them grow, leading to the love they end up feeling and having for one another. However, the further I got into the book my interest was reeled back in. Seeing more of their interactions and that growing bond between them blossom, without them realising at first. To later on not acknowledge or want to accept.

I did love how headstrong Bianca was not only when it came to her career, but especially when it came to telling her parents what she wanted. And that she wouldn’t cave into their demands, when it came to her career that she worked her ass off for. She was definitely one of the most strongest, independent, fierce woman that Alexis has written in the Love You Forever series.
As for Brett I though it was sweet, kind and caring. The fact that he was willing to go along with Bianca’s plan to help with getting her mother off her case about dating and setting her up. And how despite his career, he still would make time for Bianca.

Though this book is my least favourite out of the series, all in all it was still a cute, funny, hot, steamy and romantic book altogether.
And so with that said, if you’re looking for a light-hearted and fluffy story with a guarantee HEA. Then I would recommend checking out Bianca and Brett’s story The Baby Fling, especially if you have already read any of the previous books from the Love You Forever series.

The Baby Fling is the 7th book and final book in the Love You Forever series by Alexis Winter. The book is written in dual POV and can be read as a stand alone, complete with a HEA, but personally I think the story is better enjoyed if you have already ready book 5, My Accidental Forever, since that is where we are first introduced to the main characters and you will go into The Baby Fling with a clearer understanding of their backstory.

Bianca Greer is highly educated, independant and has no time for anything but work, including relationships- much to her mother's dismay. Brett Moore is a professional motorcycle racer who travels so much he can't commit to any kind of a relationship other than casual. Both Bianca and Brett have never thought they would get married or have kids- their lives as they know them are just too busy. After being set up by their mutual friend Harley, Brett and Bianca find they have this connection they have never felt before- only the timing is all wrong. But all it takes is one person to make you want more and suddenly you can change your priorities and find ways to make it work.

I really enjoyed this story! Brett and Bianca's story is sweet, funny, steamy and even a little frustrating at times. I love their instant connection and how they describe it as feeling like they've known each other their entire lives even though they just met. I found Brett to be extremely lovable and swoony- he is convinced that Bianca is the perfect woman. Bianca comes off as a little selfish but I feel like that is kind of because she is so headstrong and is trying to break out of the lifestyle that her mother wants her to have. It becomes clear pretty quickly that both Bianca and Brett are falling for each other, and have fallen into a relationship, but neither wants to say anything since the first thing they bonded over was their inability to be in a relationship because work would always come first. But when Bianca's fake baby news turns out to be real, just like their feelings- everything gets a little messy.

I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

Brett & Bianca hit it off after they are set up as a blind date. Neither of them want to settle down. Their careers come first and they don’t want the traditional “marriage and kids” life. Bianca Greer's parents feel differently. No matter how much she explains herself her mother sets her up on dates with Losers. Brett Moore is a pro motorcycle racer. He can't keep any sort of relationship alive since he is constantly moving to the next city to race.

What starts out as a way to keep her parents off her back, Bianca uses Brett as the reason she can't be set up anymore. Unfortunately her heart doesn't realize that it is all a fake. This couple go to a lot of trouble to keep it as a no commitment non relationship. One bright idea backfires and Bianca is forced to decide what is really important.

I really felt for Bianca...for a while. Her parents were a real pain and definitely didn't hear a word their daughter was saying. However the fact that she gave in and went on the setup dates showed me she didn't have a lot of backbone and wanted their approval. I wanted her to prove to her parents that she deserved more respect not less because she is female.

Brett Moore is a pretty smart guy. When he is feeling restless with his life after meeting Bianca he takes the time to analyze what he wants. He begins making changes to get the life he wants. However his communication skills with Bianca were lacking in that he couldn't explain to her why he was changing. He was interested in more than talking when they were together.

The Baby Fling is a standalone although characters from book five, Harley and Foster, know them both. Harley is confided in by each Bianca and Brett and is throughout the story. Book seven in the Love You Forever series by Alexis Winter is a feel good romance that checks all the boxes.

Brett and Bianca are brought together by a mutual friend on a blind date.

Both are very busy so don't have time for a relationship. When they meet up they are attracted to each other and agree to have the weekend together but not put any pressure on each to start a relationship.

However, when they go back to their own lives they stay in contact and even visit each other, causing feelings to appear.

Bianca's mother tries to set her up on dates to get her to settle down, so Bianca uses her casual hookups with Brett to get her mother off her back and pretends they are in a relationship.

However, this backfires when she tries to prove how serious their relationship is and accidentally tells her parents she is pregnant. Bianca hopes this will keep them off her back, unfortunately it doesn't so Bianca has to go further into her lies and book a doctors appointment to check her pregnancy.

Unknown to Bianca she is actually pregnant and this is confirmed by her doctor. She doesn't know how to tell Brett as they agreed neither were ready for marriage or children in their lives and she ghosts him. Little does she know Brett is looking to retire from his racing profession and start his own business so that he would have time for a relationship.

Will Bianca realise her mistake before it's too late and she looses Brett?

Really enjoyed this book, nice to find out what happened to characters from one of the other books.

Alexis Winter has written a 5-star book. This is the story of Bianca and Brett. Bianca is tired of her mother setting her up on blind dates. Everyone she has gone on has been bad. Bianca's friend Harley is having a fundraiser for her animal shelter and she has invited Bianca. Harley calls her friend Brett to see when he is coming home. Brett is a motorcycle racer and is out of town for some races. He wants to know "Why she wants him back home?" She tells him that she has the perfect person for him. Brett is not looking for a relationship right now. He is hardly at home since he is racing all the time and that alone is not good for a relationship. Brett tells Harley to send him a picture and that he will be home on Friday. He asks "When is the fundraiser?" She tells him Saturday night. When Bianca and Brett meet, they seem to hit it off. They decide to hook up when he is in town. Things are going well for them until she finds out she is pregnant. She doesn't tell Brett about the baby and she doesn't return his calls for two weeks. When she does call him, he tells her that he can't do the hot and cold. He will still be with her to keep her parents off her back but that will be all. They have an event that they need to go to and this is where Bianca decides to tell him about the baby.
Will Bianca and Brett get back together after her news?
How will Brett handle the news of him being a father?
This was a wonderful book and I would recommend this book to anyone.

I received this ebook ARC from the author on the condition that I write an honest review.
Brett is a professional bike racer, living the single life, and traveling from race to race without any cares. His life changes when he is introduced to Bianca at a party. He feels an immediate attraction to her and they both agree on a relationship without any obligations.
Bianca has finished college and is going to begin working at the business run by her father. She has been raised in a wealthy environment, but she has a level head on her shoulders. She is a hard worker, but this has led to her not having had any steady relationships. The descriptions of the various blind dates that Bianca’s mother sets up for her, are extremely funny. When Bianca is introduced to Brett, she also feels an attraction to him, and agrees to a no obligations relationship.
They hook-up whenever he is in town, but due to the pressure from her parents, she tells a little lie about the relationship between her and Brett. This lie results in a truth and freak outs all around. Through their ups and downs, love brings them back together and an HEA is reached.
I’ve read this whole series, and I’ve loved each character and their various stories. I love that they reappear in different books. Alexis
Winter has the reader living in the story, with her exceptional descriptions of the characters, and the scenery of the story. I’ll always recommend her books.

Bianca was introduced earlier in this series in Logan and Harley's book and she is still a driven professional who wants to make her mark on the world. She doesn't have time for a relationship but her mother hasn't changed since Logan and Harley's book where she was determined that Logan and Bianca would get married. Brett is married to his job as a motorcycle racer. He constantly travels and also has no time for a relationship. These two like minded individuals are brought together by Harley.

The book starts out with a bit of humor as the dates Bianca is matched with keep getting worse. When she meets Brett there is an instant connection but they both agree that they neither are looking for a relationship. I enjoyed watching their relationship unfold as Brett helped Bianca get her parents off her back. Along the way there is the racing team which give you the camaraderie that is found with a team along with a few more smiles and the ever present pressure by Bianca's parents. I did wonder about Bianca's brother's wife never being around which you would have thought she would be for family dinners.

There is always fear in putting yourself out there and making yourself vulnerable but you can't reap the rewards if you don't. Brett and Bianca will leave you with a warm feeling as they learn what is really important in life

I really wanted to like this book. Spoilers: the blurb is misleading. The h doesn’t just lie to her parents and say that the H is her fiancé and father of her unborn child. She is actually sleeping with him before she ever tells her parents she’s (fake) pregnant. They talked every single night, the h even traveled across the country to watch his race and he made surprise visits to her while on the way to the next races. Yes they said that neither of them had time for a relationship but she just suddenly ghosted him out of nowhere because she was too scared to tell him she was pregnant. On top of all the unnecessary drama she caused, the family was a definite no for me. Her mother’s comments about women belong at home raising children not working and then the h saying she didn’t want to ruin his life because he didn’t choose to get her pregnant. I’m sorry but no. It takes 2 people to make the baby and the misogynistic beliefs this author has just put her on my never to read again list. I’ve tried 2 other books from this author and the first book wasn’t terrible the second book I didn’t even get past 30%. I don’t even know why I finished this one to be honest. There were incorrect words used and at one point the wrong name was used. I really liked the H until she went into labor and then it’s like he was a completely different person.

The Baby Fling is the 7th book in the Love you Forever series. It can be read as a standalone but there are characters from other books in this book.
The Baby Fling features Bianca and Brett. Brett is a professional bike racer, who prefers to lead a single life due to not being in one place long enough. Bianca is like the female version of Brett, her work comes first even though her mother is forever setting her up on dates. Bianca and Brett meet after agreeing to their mutual friend setting them up. This date starts changes even though neither of them want to admit it. There is a immediate attraction between them and they agree to hook up whenever Brett is in town. Bianca’s mother is pressuring her into settling down so Bianca tells a little lie. Unbeknown to Bianca this lie is in fact a reality and she needs to decide what happens next.
I have read the whole of this series and this one is just as good as the others. More great characters to love. Its great to read Biancas story. I loved reading the descriptions of the blind dates that Bianca went on. It made me feel I was sitting there with them , very funny to read. Definitely recommend.

This was a fabulously written book. Bianca and Brett are absolutely perfect for each other. Neither of these two want a serious relationship. They are focused solely on their careers. Bianca has been getting pressured by her parents, mostly her mother about getting married and having babies. She sets her up with every man she seems acceptable. She will be starting her new job at her father’s company and is very excited about what she wants to do there. Brett races motorcycles and has been doing it since he was a child. He is rarely home and thinks that he can’t have a serious relationship due to his traveling. Their friend, Harley, thinks they would be perfect for each other, and when they meet, they realize they are perfect for each other. However, they decide on not being serious. They will see each other whenever Brett is in town. Keeping feelings from com in g up is harder than they thought. While the lies pile up, what is going to happen between Brett and Bianca. I loved how the storyline just flowed. Brett and Bianca have an insanely strong connection and their chemistry is off the charts. This book made me laugh and get a little emotional. I wanted to bonk their heads together, and tell them to communicate. 🤣 Hurry up and grab this up.

Another great read in the Love You Forever series by Alexis Winter. This is the story of Bianca, who we met in My Accident Forever as Foster’s intended but Foster and Bianca had other ideas and therefore Foster ended up married to Harley and Bianca remained single. Bianca and Brett are from two very different worlds but they are set up as a blind date by their mutual friend Harley. They hit it off and as a “relationship” develops they both agree that Brett will be her boyfriend so Bianca’s mother will stop playing matchmaker and trying to find a partner for Bianca. This book is truly a story of two people who really want a partner but are both married to their jobs and are happy to hook up occasionally. After so many disastrous first dates Brett is a breath of fresh air and soon enough their feelings develop. Fate obviously as other ideas for them. Once again we are treated to a lovely, romantic story by Ms Winter with great characters and a fun story line. I love this series and I am eagerly waiting to read more. Another success!

I loved these characters and how they managed their relationship to find the real and true feelings they had for each other. The descriptions of how they saw life and the way they wanted to live was written very well and their "hook-ups", their feelings about not being "exclusive" was believable. The fact that they pretty much was exclusive and only seeing each other made for an even better love story. You will love Brett's kindness and expressions of feelings throughout the story. Bianca is so much fun to read about and you will love her. I can't say that all the time about the female characters in all my books.

To read a story about two young people who are successful in their professions and very clear and comfortable about who they are and what they want out of life was great. Brett, a motorcycle racer and Bianca, a business woman skilled in prosthetic development, meet up with no intentions of starting a relationship. But once they meet each other, talk to each other and spend a little time together, their thoughts about how they should live life changes. Just great reading about a fun couple.

The Baby Fling
Brett competes in motor bike racing and has no time for relationships or settling down, so when his best friend offers to set him on a date with her friend Bianca he agrees.

Bianca is being faced with pressure from her family to settle down and her mom keeps setting her up on disaster dates.
The evening of her being given the positon within the company is the evening of her date with Brett, they have instant chemisty but their pressures of work means they just dont have the time for developing their relationship further.

Bianca is put into a postion and to get her family to agree with her work propositions she states she is pregnant... how can one simple lie then escalate until the truth comes out. But what will be the truth in all of this.

Another excellent book by Alexis Winter Alexis Winter

Perfect Mate for Each Other

Bianca's mom tries her matchmaking skills in finding a perfect mate for Bianca, without success. Bianca needs to find a temporary solution to get her mom off her back & stop the "find a husband" campaign. Her best friend, Harley finds the perfect match. Even though Bianca & Brett feel like they've known each other for years, they have agreed to keep it casual as both want to focus on their busy careers, leaving very little wiggle room for a relationship. Brett is more than agreeable to follow along with Bianca's ideas of being her boyfriend. Needless to say, another lie is blurted out, only to find this lie is really the truth!

A novel full of chuckles, watching Bianca dig a deeper hole with her lies & the hot steamy moments these 2 make the time for even if their careers come first. I thoroughly enjoyed this read as both have worked around their busy careers by compromising & finding common ground to make time for their daughter.

Okay, so I didn’t really like Bianca. She was the reason I only gave this book three stars. I just found her annoying. I didn’t like that she didn’t tell Brett about the baby right away. I didn’t like how she ghosted Brett after she found out she was pregnant. I didn’t like that she lied to her family about being pregnant in the first place. Grow up please Bianca.

And then her dad tells her that she won’t get the backing of the company for her project unless she is in a relationship, but then when she is in a relationship and “pregnant” now she won’t be able to put her all into the project so the company still won’t back her? What?! And then she tells him the truth about everything and he’s all “I didn’t know you felt that way?” Again, what?! She said it it to you like 57 times!!! That part of the story was ridiculous.

I thought Brett was very mature with the way he planned his future and guarded his heart when Bianca was being a complete douche. I really liked his character.

This story was just okay for me.

Bianca and Brett's story

Bianca is all about wanting to prove herself to her Dad's Company. She wants to introduce her idea about robotic prosthesis. Her parents thought she was going to her long-time friend but he fell in love with Harley. Now they are married and have twins.
Harley introduces her to her best friend Brett, a motorcycle racer. He had been on the circuit since he was a teenager. Bianca's mother had been setting her up on some terrible blind dates. Some where hysterical.
Brett and Bianca hit it off from the beginning. Both have career goals and haven't had time for relationships.
They enjoy being together, and the sex isn't to shabby. Neither have been this attracted to someone else before.
Great story of two people who found something they didn't know they were looking for.
I love all of Alexis Winter characters in her books. Each find the love of their lives but find each other by accident.
Alexis keep writing these amazing books for your readers

I was sent a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
Brett is a motorcycle racer who is successful and thinks he has everything he needs out of life.
Bianca is a young professional woman who is just starting out in a corporate career in her father's business. Her mother is constantly setting her up with dead-end dates hoping she'll settle down, get married and have kids. Bianca has other ideas though. Her best friend Harley sets her up with a date on the night Bianca is going to be welcomed into her father's business and when Brett arrives and he and Bianca get together, they hit it off, but both make it clear they are not into relationships.
This story was so interesting I read it twice. I absolutely loved it. The twists, the friendly banter between Brett and his pit crew, the agony over Bianca's position in her father's company and the general direction the story took. I found this to be such a riveting read, I literally couldn't put it down.
Highly recommend.

We met Bianca and Brett on My Accidental Forever, the story of Foster and Harley. And I wanted to see more of the characters and see their HEA.

One thing I did not see coming was them together! 😳When I was reading MAF it did not crossed my mind, AT ALL!!!
I mean, the characters were in two different worlds and didn’t even crossed paths!!!! How was I supposed to see this coming?!! 🤣🤣
But it was a nice surprise! 🥰

Both Bianca and Brett are career driven and don’t have time for a relationship.
Bianca is focus in her new job and is trying to achieve a new project, which means she needs to devote her time to her job.
Brett is always traveling out of town to the next stop for his races, leaving him with only a promise of a fun night! He can’t offer or ask for more.

All that is left to say is that Harley was right! 🤣🤣

I really enjoyed reading The Baby Fling by Alexis Winter because it was such a sweet and wonderful story about Bianca and Brett. They were introduced by their friends and really hit it off. Both of them were career oriented and didn't want the hassle of marriage or kids. Brett was a professional motorcycle racer and Bianca was starting a new job at her father's company. They were what you would call friends with benefits with no attachments especially since they both worked really hard and Brett traveled a lot. But soon each were starting to feel things about the other and throw in some little white lies to her parents about her being pregnant and things turn upside for a while. I hoped that Brett and Bianca would stay together and finally admit to one another how they felt. I would highly recommend this story.

What happens when the lie becomes the truth? Steamy and unique fake baby romance. What?!
I truly enjoyed this romp with Bianca, self-professed workaholic, not interested in permanent relationships much less having babies. Ewww…until her best friend sets her up with Brett who has similar misgivings about permanence. What happens when they really like being together? Do they change their minds? Can they pull off the fake fiancé deal Bianca and Brett make? What happens when real gets to be too real?
Love the beginning when Bianca’s mother sets her up with blind date after blind date with the same outcome. Pretty funny! Steamy right from their first time, the night of their first blind date. I think Bianca did some stupid things in the name of altruism but she comes to her senses soon enough. I volunteered to review an ARC of this book through Booksprout and recommend it to romance readers who enjoy humor, steam and a cute story.

Well written contemporary romance with some rom-com parts and lots of steamy and hot sex scenes. Told from the heroine and hero’s point of views, we are taken on a journey of discovering what they really want in life. It’s very easy to sympathize with the characters and feel all the emotion with them as well as cheer for them to work it all out.

I didn’t like that Bianca’s parents were pushing her to settle down, get married, and become a baby factory instead of putting her education to good use at the family company. I did like how Bianca stood up for what she wanted and how Brett fully supported her choices.

One of my favorite parts was Bianca’s dates that her mother set her up on. Who thinks it is ok to set their daughter up with someone who is engaged to be married in a few months? Oh yes, someone delusional enough to think a woman belongs in the home while the man works.

Finding A Soulmate -
Brett and Bianca were both focused solely on their careers when they were set up on their blind date, but decided to have an open no strings relationship. However, the more time they spent together, seemed to slowly change their mind about embarking on a relationship. The back and forth relationship between Brett and Bianca will definitely keep you entertained and have you rooting for them to get a happily ever after.

The story will keep you intrigued from the beginning, just reading about Bianca’s mother’s antics and leave you in disbelief. If you want to read a book that will tug at your heartstrings, whilst you also get plenty of swoon, this book delivers in abundance.

I really liked Bianca since reading the last book. I was rooting for her to succeed at work and hoping she’d find a way to get her parents off her back. I just didn’t expect her to tell that lie. Yes her parents were being ridiculous, but what she did was childish, not to mention how it would came off to Brett.
I really loved Brett! He was such a great guy and Bianca’s perfect match. I understood how he felt about relationships and how his career impacted them. I loved the moment when he realized that things with Bianca were becoming more to him.
There was plenty of chemistry between them! Some pretty funny bits, too! But my favorite part of the book was seeing how Brett was with Starla.

Bianca keeps having bad dates and she's getting tired of them. Then she meets Brett they have a connection but both are busy with their careers so they don't want anything serious. Brett helps her keep her family off her back for a bit. However when she does something neither expects and says that she's pregnant when she's not Bianca doesn't know what she'll do when Brett finds out what she's done or how to explain to her family. Then when she learns its not a lie and she is pregnant the drama begins to take over her life. Will Brett forgive her deception? Can they move forward together?

This is a great story that will captivate you from beginning to end. This is a well written and very entertaining story. I would recommend this book to any book lover.

Time to question your motives.

Although this is book 7 in the series it can be enjoyed as a stand alone. Characters overlap from pervious stories but not having prior knowledge of them does not take away from the enjoyment or understanding.

Bianca is very career-driven, she had big, bold ideas but can’t get the chance to prove how good they are. Her family has her life planned out and she tells some lies to try and get them off her back.

Brett is also career-focused but he didn’t come across as jaded, he has a softness to him and is willing to pretend and embrace Bianca’s lie.

I enjoyed getting both POVs because it took me inside the story. Brett was more likeable than Bianca but I admit she grew on me.
