Another of Hamlet Machine erotic dark masterpieces.

I came to know this incredible author through some special covers for Fence Comic she did some years ago. The drawings were SO good and expressive I searched the author and found her own amazing stories.

Mickey + Jessica is a mature, erotic tale between a sunshine girl named Jessica, and the hottest, most troubled girl named Mickey. The attraction is fast but palpable, and understandable, between the two. The slow burn is slowwwwww… just the way I like it. (when I say slow, I mean the “they fell for each other” bit.... this is an erotic tale, so some things do come before others... no pun intended 🙈)

The art is exquisite and atmospheric. (Better read with some kind of soundtrack on the back, such as “Sisters of Mercy” or the like, hehe).

Any HM art is unforgettable, this one is no exception.

There's a bare bones plot and sudden masturbation all in one go. Yet Hamlet Machine's artwork is gorgeous enough to stick around. I can't say that I'm anywhere near invested in the characters yet to warrant an instant lust scene, but oh well.

I've followed Hamlet Machine for a long time and there's just something about the way they draw people in full-body leather that reeeeally pulls me in.

Coming from Starfighter this is very different, but you can see the growth from then to now. We get a quick but sufficient introduction to the main characters and the general premise to the story, and I'm definitely intrigued enough to read more!
