This is an incredible book that I believe every Catholic person young or old can benefit from. It is a very enjoyable story to read, and I often had a hard time putting it down. Martin de Porres Kennedy is clearly a gifted writer. I began getting so attached to the characters that sometimes I forgot they were a work of fiction. It really does help explain and reinforce why, as Catholics, we believe the things we believe and do the things we do. This is definitely a book that is on my read again list.

I found myself more invested in this story than I was the first time I read it for school a little over a year ago.
I found myself ranting to my mom about it. This book is superb. The ending was entirely satisfying and I had a lot of fun reading a NOVEL about the mysteries of our faith. Apologetics is one of my favorite things to learn about and as someone who’s had to defend my faith to a Protestant before, I found this book extremely interesting and captivating. And now I’m forcing my mom to read it too.

I was reading this for school, and we were supposed to only a few sections at a time, but I just went ahead and read the whole thing. It really teachs you to defend your faith, but in an engaging way that keeps you turning the pages. I'm glad I read it.

This book is AMAZING for encouraging Catholic (and non-Catholic) readers of all ages to ask questions, to research, and to ultimately come to a better understanding of one's own beliefs. The dialogue was riveting. I highly recommend!!

If I could give this book 10 stars I would. A Philadelphia Catholic in a King James Court was a book I could not put down. This book was thought provoking and very well written!!
