Okay, as it turns out, I’ll be gradually updating this review with each volume since the entire story consists of 4 books (1820 pages, 259 chapters). I highly recommend the translation of the novel on Radish—that’s where I’m reading these books, and the translation is honestly really good!
I remember reading the manhwa three or four years ago, and I was totally in love with it, but since it was unfinished, I unfortunately forgot about it. Now that I’ve returned to my comic-reading phase, I stumbled upon it again. However, when I saw that it wasn’t being continued—it’s been on hiatus for two years— due to how terribly the manhwa’s author was treated I decided that I just had to finish the story now, so I started reading the novel the manhwa is based on. A novel that as it turns out, is just as good as the manhwa.
But anyway, moving on to the main part of my review. Spoilers start here!
Book one [chapters 1-71]—4.25/5
The first book covers the childhood of our main characters, how they met, how they parted ways, and finally reunited after three years to seek revenge on Roxana's father for various reasons. I’m literally so excited to dive into the next books! The romance had me blushing like crazy in the first volume alone, and that was just the beginning, so I just know that I'll go even crazier in the next books.

I'm considering this as the first season of the manhwa bc I can't find it on goodreads. The art style is gorgeous. The FL is totally bada**😍 she is so beautiful. This story won't be for everyone but enjoyed it. The family of the FL are all psychos who love killing people so be warned.

Holy moly art is exceptional! Super beautifully drawn and aesthetically pleasing to the eyes. Art 10/10.
Story is a bit dark (beware of all the bloods and tortures). Roxanna is always on survival mode, living in a house of psycopaths (Agriche house). She tries to avoid her tragic ending by saving the original female lead's older brother from death, thus keeping the OG female lead from taking revenge against her and her family. I like Roxanna, she is smart, not essentially kind hearted but isn't sadistic like her kins. Also, she is brave enough to deceive his psycho father about ML's death. She develops poisonous butterfly as her deadly weapon in the price of her own health. She is badass indeed.
ML is Cassis, the original female lead's older brother from Pedelian family. He is captured by Agriche family and is supposedly tortured and dead in the original novel story, but in this story Roxanna saves him and even helping him escapes. Roxanna makes people in her family believe that she abuses Cassis frequently and treats him as a toy and finally kills him as she gets bored. Cassis, who hates and doubts her at first, finally opens up to her and there is undeniable sparks between them.
I have read until the time jump 3 years after Cassis escaped and cannot wait to read Agriche's fall and Roxanna & Cassis's relationship. Again, although the story is good too but it is the art that catches my attention and makes this manhwa so special IMO.

Il manhwa è veramente bello, i disegni sono qualcosa di spettacolare, e tutti i personaggi hanno sfaccettature interessanti. La storia, piena di intrighi e colpi di scena, è ben costruita, per non parlare del worldbuilding che, sebbene si limiti perlopiù alla corte degli Agrece, è approfondito. Ho amato Roxana, Deon e anche Cassis sebbene non sia il tipo di personaggio che preferisco (ho letto tutto per Deon ahah).
Non do 5 stelle perché ci sono alcune dinamiche e alcune parti della storia che ho trovato un po' affrettate, non spiegate al meglio, come se l'autrice (o l'editor che sia) avesse fretta di andare avanti. Ma la storia è comunque godibile! Spero di poter leggere presto la conclusione.

It’s really disappointing to hear that this manhwa has been dropped, especially since it became one of my favorites to follow. While some scenes are a bit gruesome, I actually enjoyed how unapologetically evil every character is, as it gave the story a unique edge. The art is stunning and definitely one of its strongest points. That said, I have to admit that the storyline felt lacking at times. Some parts came across as boring, and some moments seemed cut or skipped over, leaving certain scenes feeling disjointed or unexplained. Still, despite these flaws, I found it a worthwhile read, and I especially love Roxana as a character, as she really carried the manhwa for me.

I haven't read the novel and the manhwa is ongoing but so far I really like it, the only complaint I have is the lack of backstory for the fl's previous life and I feel like the reincarnation plot adds nothing to the story although it's forgivable since it's pretty common for this genre of web novels and manhwas.

There are high stakes politics, amazing world building, realistic and unique characters, and the best romance I've ever read.
This book gave me so much giddiness and thrill. I could not put it down when I was reading it, even though my copy was like 4,000+ pages.
I have so many favorite scenes and chapters in this book..
One thing I can say is that Cassis fell first but they both fell as hard for each other. Which I loved. The romance was so alluring and addicting.

Here's a small rundown of the book-
A young woman is hit by a car on her way home from college and dies. However she wakes up reborn in another world realizing she ended up in a novel called “Hell’s flower” a book she read in her previous life. She is reincarnated as one of the story’s villains, Roxana Agriche. Roxana is the daughter of a prominent noble and villainous family. Roxana’s father, the head of the family, kidnaps the older brother of the Female lead. The female lead kills the Agriche Family in vengeance for kidnapping and killing her older brother. While in the Original Novel Roxana was a minor character killed along with the rest of the family, this one is determined to move up the ranks of her family and save herself. When her father’s men bring home a prisoner: Successor of the rival Pedalian Family, Roxana's decision to save him completely alters the original book’s plot.

My guy cas isn't really the dark psychotic ol cavemen you would expect from my description of him he's actually really soft I would say Roxana is the crazy ol caveman in this relationship.
DAMN. I DID NOT EXPECT THE ROMANCE IN THIS BOOK TO HIT THIS HARD.
The tension, the banter, the spice, the confession scene. Every scene where they interacted had me in a choke hold. Their chemistry is so freaking strong. I don't think I've ever cringed while reading this which was new.
Oh and how it was executed.
I was blushing, giggling, and kicking my feet while reading this book☠️
There weren't just butterflies in my stomach, there were actual moths.

The scene where Roxana confessed to Cassis had me melting. I probably looked like a red tomato. when she said she would personally hunt him down and kill him if he ever left her was ℍ𝕆𝕋.
But a whole different level of HOT.

Have read the manhwa. Considering to read the novel.
Quite possibly one of the best manhwas I had come across. I love the art and the ruthlessness of the main character. This also has very questionable themes but then again the main character is also questionable as well; which made the story more fun.

I've read the first 4 volumes of this novelization and really enjoyed them. The characters are enjoyably complicated and not the black and white I expected from a manwha. I wait patiently fir volume 5 online.
